We made a reservation for 7pm. When we arrived, we were sent to an area that was already occupied. It took about 15 min for someone to notice the issue and resolve it. Once seated, we did not get service in a timely manner. The three beverages, red sangria, white sangria, and gin and tonic, were not even drinkable. These were some of the worst beverages I have ever had. I am glad we ate prior to arriving. Fun experience, but halfway thru our golf time we noticed it was super cold, and I know it's winter but we were told there were heaters. I guess the heaters had shut down and we asked our server but she wasn't sure and that's the only answer we got. We did discover some timers on the wall that we went ahead and tried to restart ourselves but it never warmed up and we all froze(had kids with us). First timers here. We had heard of the place in Springfield, and our 12 year old finally got us to go in for a couple hours. Great experience, super nice atmosphere, friendly staff. You have your own waiter/waitress at your booth, who caters to your every need. The food is superb. Comfy outdoor couch, and interactive tv/range deal for your hitting needs. One star is a crime. There should be an option for zero stars. I took a group of teens here for my daughter's birthday. I went to the bathroom for all of two minutes and as soon as I exited I was immediately approached by the manager stating the kids were being disrespectful because they had crossed the red line and had thrown some of the balls into the green (apparently it's okay to hit a ball with a club but throwing one into the green is unreasonable). She even had the nerve to refer to one of them solely by the color of their skin which was totally unnecessary. She said she had been over there "multiple times" which is simply not true. I was there the entire time minus the very short period of time I was in the restroom. She also said my daughter was disrespectful. Apparently she had asked her where the adult was and my daughter said, "My mother is in the bathroom." Somehow that was disrespectful? I spoke with the kids and every one of them agreed to not throw a ball and to not cross the red line. They proceeded to finish out their time while I supervised every second and there were no issues. The entire time they were playing, this manager continued to watch their every move while constantly throwing her hands up in the air in exasperation. They were laughing and having fun so, maybe that was irritating to her? There were even a couple of times she was seen peeking from behind a wall trying to watch them. Creepy stalker much? I'm not even sure why but, she targeted them the entire time. When the time expired, the waitress (who was very sweet and even when I asked her if they were doing anything wrong said they were being just fine) said our time had expired and we were needing to leave the bay. I had just been given the bill so, I told the kids to go downstairs so I could finish paying. While I was signing the receipt, the manager approached me and told me "all of them were so disrespectful as they walked by and said 'bye' on the way by." Because I was still in the process of signing the receipt, I said I would take care of it. On my way downstairs, I asked 2-3 other groups of people if they had heard my kids being disrespectful as they walked by. Not one of them did. They all said they were fine. As I made my way downstairs, my daughter met me and said, "Mom, she's kicking us out and threatening to call the police." As I got downstairs to assess the situation, she had literally forced four 13-14 year olds outside while threatening to call the police on them. Why? Because they had sat their stuff down and were waiting for me to finish paying the bill. Such a crime! As I came outside, she told me they were being disrespectful and were without a guardian. Ummm, I was literally paying the bill upstairs and coming right down but SHE stopped me to tattle on them and prevented me from getting to them any quicker. Also, not ONCE as she was tattling did she tell me that I needed to be with them or they were going to call the police on them. She did not even give me the opportunity to find out what was going on and address the situation as I said I would. For one thing, it was ONE of them who said "bye" and she labeled that as disrespectful? I'm afraid you have a rough life ahead if your skin isn't thick enough to handle someone saying "bye" to you. Also, working at BigShots is NOT for you if you are so irritable with teenagers. Time to put your big girl panties on and toughen up a bit. And lastly, I hope you felt big threatening to call the police on a group of kids for what apparently only YOU deemed as disrespect. They were just fine until they felt targeted. One of the girls was so upset she was in tears thinking the police were coming. There was a vendetta from the start and for what reason? For any other parents on here, I would highly recommend that you spend your money elsewhere. There are many more establishments more deserving of your hard earned money. I can guarantee they won't be getting anymore of mine. read more

This place is awesome, I'm giving it 4 star's instead of five because of the heat!! I love hot weather but the beer only stays cold for a few minutes in the heat they need to find a way to keep your drinks cold while it's your turn. When we got there the staff was just a few seconds behind us to get our drink orders and to see if we have ever been there before. The server was highly attentive. We just got a simple appetizer which came out fast and hot. We had a great time playing the different golf games and yes, there was a little friendly competition that accompanied us in all the golf games we played. Will be back again!!!! read more

I only have good things to say about big shots. We decided to book for an hour, it was $50 for two of us, which wasn't awful! The drinks were AMAZING and as well as the food, a lot fancier than what was expected! We also had the pretzel bites as wells as the stuffed tater tots, which were to die for. The food bill WAS pricey, it ran to around $46 for two drinks and two appetizers, but I have to say it would be well worth it for a rare occasion! The staff were amazing and our waitress was so sweet. Definitely recommend going here if you have the time and money! read more

We've been 4 or 5 times. With a full group the golf isn't too expensive and the games are really fun. Some of the games are kinda random too, so if you're not the best you can still win. They don't let you hit drivers though, but you shouldn't need them. The foods actually pretty good also, especially their spinach and artichoke dip. read more
