I can unequivocally recommend Andrew at his firm, Element Engineering, to anyone looking for…read moreexcellence in knowledge and practice, but also for a man of integrity! I had somewhat anticipated that a typical structural engineer, may heedlessly dismiss my concerns. However, to my great relief and benefit, I found Andrew. When I presented Andrew with a whole host of structural dilemmas, there was NO dismissal from him. He went far beyond the call of duty, painstakingly tackling and anaylizing each and every issue! He provided a clear assessment of each item along with his recommendations. For one of the more baffling issues, he came up with a couple out-of-the-box, creative solutions! The feeling was, he cared,...and really wanted to help resolve the issues, no matter how seemingly innocuous. That kind of individual is pretty rare these days, so for this, I could not recommend him any more highly!! You won't go wrong with Andrew!

Lori from Studio Phariss is one of the most talented and hard working interior designers I have…read moreever met. She helped us with a gut renovation of our 1972 rancher, which was basically a time capsule, complete with tiny dark rooms, low popcorn ceilings, and dirty shag carpeting. She flew back and forth from Reno to Las Vegas for months to consult with us, submitting plans for an open, bright and chic home. She worked tirelessly with structural engineers and the city to get accurate drawings and permits to ensure a seamless and high quality renovation. She is as every bit as patient, kind, and personable as she is creative and resourceful - a real pleasure to work with. As a designer myself, I really appreciate her sophisticated taste level and excellent design eye. She is the ultimate professional. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Thank you Lori, for helping our house vision come true! We absolutely love our forever home and will be eternally grateful that we found you!

She did an incredible job helping my husband and me navigate our very different design styles and somehow brought them together into a space we both love. Throughout the process Lori was responsive, attentive, and calm, even during the moments when the project felt a bit chaotic. Her creativity and guidance made a huge difference. Lori also connected us with an excellent contractor and cabinet company, both of whom were incredibly skilled and wonderful to work with. I hired a contractor who in turn hired Mike. We started this in January 2023. It's now March 2024…read more I paid the contractor in full and he paid Mike. The engineering company has now sent me a lien notice on my property because Mike owes them $6600. They will not do anything on my project until he pays them. About 2 weeks ago he said that he was bringing them a check. They finally released my engineered plans but then his check bounced. They now will not work on my project until he pays them in full. In my last text with Mike he stated that he was waiting for another client to pay so that he could pay for my project. I believe that is illegal! This is beyond ridiculous. I'm so very frustrated. I finally bought another house to live in and spent almost $1m because this is taking so long. Stay away from this guy if you want to ever actually build the house that you design!

If we could give zero stars, we would rather do so…read more When we initially began working with Mike in 2022, he was responsive and helpful. However, once we were underway with getting plans done, Mike would not return calls or texts, miss promised deadlines (REPEATEDLY), and ignored emails. He would essentially ghost us, or, when he did respond, he would promise a date which would again pass with no response from Mike. This went on for months. We completely lost out on getting our building done in 2023 because Mike wasted our time and kept our money and caused immense frustration. Mike may be able to do design work, but he will not honor deadlines, he will not communicate and he will not refund your money when he fails to perform what he was hired to do. He never once apologized for going weeks or months without responding to calls/texts/emails. He never completed what he was paid to do. We are in the process of pursuing legal action against him.
