As an engineering company only, what are the qualifications for your company to draw up design plans for a home?

As an engineer in NV and CA I am allowed and qualified to prepare plans just like an architect. Anything an architect can do, Element Engineering can do. Thanks for your question.

"A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference."…read more--Eeyore Shazam! I so love writing a good rave and dialing it up several notches. Here's a salient way, both the anchor and the pixie dust, to save and help Seniors and disabled at the same time. Because none more cherished in a Senior's or disabled life than those who lighten the burdens of a Senior or disabled from age and / or disability / limited fixed income. On a freezing snowy day of winter, this business went out to minister. Hey CFA of Reno, I appreciate your free help to this Senior and disabled Veteran that you show. I'm very grateful to you. and your wonderful crew. CFA, Inc. does planning, civil engineering, hydrologic & hydraulic engineering, surveying and mapping. Snow removal is not their usual gig. Good intentions only go so far. To truly help others, you have to take action in some way. Similarly, you have to be active in your faith in order for it to be truly meaningful. CFA has put a challenge to businesses. CFA challenges businesses, especially contractors because they have the equipment, to step up and help out Seniors and disabled by removing the snow from Seniors' and disabled's sidewalks and driveways and doing it for free. Free, because all cities and counties have laws that require property owners are responsible for the general maintenance of a sidewalk in the public right-of-way that abuts the property of the owner, including, without limitation, sweeping, removal of snow, ice and weeds, and maintenance preventing any grass, shrubs or trees from encroaching upon the sidewalk. Yet, City of Reno and City of Sparks have no department to help Senior and disabled who are unable to maintain those sidewalks due to age and / or disability / limited fixed income. It is business such as CFA that are on the front lines of fighting to reduce the staggering and horrifying number of Seniors and disabled who daily succumb to suicide. Older adults make up 12% of the US population, but account for 18% of all suicide deaths. CDC also reports adults with disabilities were 3 1/2 times more likely to report suicidal ideation in the past month compared to persons without disabilities. So, thank you, CFA for practicing Proverbs 3:27 "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act." There's something to be said for CFA having so many desirable traits that are in such short supply elsewhere.
