Very happy with how this project turned out! It was a slow start. I had called Jaymes and left a…read moremessage telling him about the project. It took him a month to return my call but that didn't bother me because anything construction related is so much in demand right now, I was just happy to get a call back. Plus it worked out timing wise because when he returned my call, I was ready for the countertop portion of my project. Jaymes was quick to come over and take measurements and he recommend a few places for me to look at slabs. The next day, I had a slab picked out and he sent me the estimate. Once I paid the deposit, he had the countertops installed within 2.5 weeks. The turnaround time amazes me because I was expecting it to take at least a mont, again because of all the construction needs right now. I was not completely happy with the installation crew. They told me they were going to have to make a seams down the middle of the counter and backsplashes, which surprised me because Jaymes had told me the seams would only be in the corners. But after speaking to Jaymes about not being satisfied with multiple visible seams, he was able to accommodate my requests and put the seams in the corners. Also, the installation crew dented a cabinet while they were installing. The handles that were installed later covered the dent up so, no harm. Overall, I am very happy with the quick turnaround and the quality of the work. Jaymes did a great job lining up the grain patterns on the slabs so the backsplash matched the direction of the countertop. I would definitely use Stone Creation again and Jaymes was very easy to work with.

She posted so-called "we pulled it off in record time" photographs online to promote her business to mislead the public. They are not images of Studio Phariss' completed work but rather 3D-generated renderings of the work that WAS NEVER DONE! On April 19, 2024, I signed a contract with Lori, owner of Studio Phariss, for the redesign and remodel of my 6,600 sq. ft. home. I paid a $16,500 deposit plus a 25% expediting fee of $8,250 based on her promises to accelerate the project with a target completion date of September 1, 2024. In total, she took $33,000 for her services and $36,201.21 for materials--yet she failed to order $7,051.93 worth of materials and she is still withholding those funds. Lori failed to provide any design plans until way after the promised completion date--and even then, it was only a preliminary drawing for the master suite. The rest of the house remains WITHOUT any design plans, let alone construction! None of the contracted work--plumbing, cabinetry, countertops, kitchen, flooring, bathrooms, paint selection, hardware, or any other outlined scope--has been completed. She employed an unqualified hairstylist, Lindsey, who falsely claimed to be a lead designer. Lindsey has no formal design credentials and attempted to furnish my entire home from ONE single store (RH)--a clear sign of inexperience. Lori uses unethical tactics to hold projects hostage, refusing to order materials until additional design payments are made to her--knowing the contractor is waiting. She insists on material payments through her ACH system, inflating both material and freight costs while blocking clients from directly communicating with vendors. This ensures clients never know the actual cost of materials and leaves them without recourse for recovering their money in case of a dispute. She also inflated freight charges by $1,070 despite vendors confirming that materials were shipped for free. Additionally, Lori introduced a contractor who blatantly demanded a kickback--clearly in collusion. Lori is deceitful, manipulative, and dishonest. Avoid her at all costs!!!!!!

If we could give zero stars, we would rather do so…read more When we initially began working with Mike in 2022, he was responsive and helpful. However, once we were underway with getting plans done, Mike would not return calls or texts, miss promised deadlines (REPEATEDLY), and ignored emails. He would essentially ghost us, or, when he did respond, he would promise a date which would again pass with no response from Mike. This went on for months. We completely lost out on getting our building done in 2023 because Mike wasted our time and kept our money and caused immense frustration. Mike may be able to do design work, but he will not honor deadlines, he will not communicate and he will not refund your money when he fails to perform what he was hired to do. He never once apologized for going weeks or months without responding to calls/texts/emails. He never completed what he was paid to do. We are in the process of pursuing legal action against him.

I hired a contractor who in turn hired Mike. We started this in January 2023. It's now March 2024…read more I paid the contractor in full and he paid Mike. The engineering company has now sent me a lien notice on my property because Mike owes them $6600. They will not do anything on my project until he pays them. About 2 weeks ago he said that he was bringing them a check. They finally released my engineered plans but then his check bounced. They now will not work on my project until he pays them in full. In my last text with Mike he stated that he was waiting for another client to pay so that he could pay for my project. I believe that is illegal! This is beyond ridiculous. I'm so very frustrated. I finally bought another house to live in and spent almost $1m because this is taking so long. Stay away from this guy if you want to ever actually build the house that you design!
