It's more on the pricey side for a latte, but they make their efforts in presentation. They have their own pink mugs, and the coffee art is done well! Sometimes I think coffee shops can make their stores look a little too busy with decoration. I believe that simple is often better. The staff was kind, making sure we were take care of. The Coffee Crew GR is a small batch coffee company in Comstock Park that employs adults with disabilities, and it's woman owned! Two things that you don't see very often, which is amazing in and of itself. Not only do they roast their own coffee (which is delicious, by the way), they also bake pastries in house! Their mini apple pies were delicious; my kids and my dad wolfed them right down. Per the flyer I grabbed on my way out: "We are owned and operated by a group of special needs young adults, as a for-profit effort to demonstrate the capabilities of these workers." Wholly agreed, and everyone should go and support if you ever pass by!

There are constantly free events to promote the space as a third space with no pressure to have to buy anything; however, the drinks and local art are well worth it! The staff have been very kind and helpful and are great to talk to. I love what they do as a business and how they continuously support their community. They don't play music way too loud like so many joints do and the employees are always pleasant. They sell a lot of local art and there is always something unique and fun to check-out. I almost always get one of their seasonal drinks because they are all amazing, but if I don't I get the Killer Queen. I have been there dozens of times and have NEVER had a drink that disappointed me. I love bringing friends there and it's always the first place I recommend when people wanna get coffee.

The cinnamon rolls are the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had. We got it without the bacon. It was flaky and warm and just so delicious.
