Found this coffee shop from a quick search, pass it through the area. Although I always try to balance any existing positive or negative reviews, I feel it best to add context to the existing reviews. Very clean, comfortable atmosphere when you first walk in. Very organized. Selection options were sufficient in plentiful for the shop's size and services. There namesake coffee as I wanted something simple. It's a dark gross space and hit the spot. Chose one of the turkey option bagels and hit the spot as well. I can tell the staff prepared my items with patients and care. The baristas Deborah and Kira were superbly, professional, friendly, and attentive. Thank you ladies! Great customer care and service. Enjoyed sitting inside in one a small lounge spot. Definitely a cozy and great service experience placed to visit. Weather for quick takeout or sit and relax. Will definitely make another stop when passing through. read more

This was my second time at this shop. The first time was terrible. Not just rude, overtly nasty staff. But I gave it another chance because everyone has bad days. BIG mistake. It seems rudeness is part of the employee handbook here. I ordered a double espresso and asked where I could find the cream and sugar. I was told in quite a nasty manner that THEY add it to my coffee. Not me. I asked how do you know how much I want? Then they just glared at me like two characters out of a horror film. I was waiting for them to cut the menacing music. It is clear they hate their jobs. As an aside--we lived in the SF Bay area for years before coming home to FL. 10 years ago a chain of local coffee shops there tried this control freak service of adding the cream, milk, plant milks, etc and sugar for you. They lasted a year or so before they closed. read more

Found this cute little local coffee shop, more so for a quick pick up and go. They do have seating but it's very small. Wide selection of drinks- they also had a cute menu for the new movie The Sheep Detectives. The service was fast and the coffee was delicious. I got the butter bear iced latte! read more

The coffee beans used are extremely dark roast. If you don't mind that flavor, then grab a big cup. The coffee will keep you wired for the road. read more

Pass and go to a chain. Gas station quality at bistro prices. Stopping for a coffee and decided to try local instead of the "Star". Was a bad choice. They are set up like a chain but without the service or standards. Got on old muffin but when I asked for an exchange they said there was nothing they could do and wouldn't even refund "Cold foam" was just heavy sweet cream from a container read more

Wow! Got a cold coffee that was suppose to be hot and went back inside to get it replaced and got major attitude and a big no. Asked the employee to speak with the manager and was told that she was as close to a manager as I was getting. She obviously couldn't care less because she rolled her eyes at me.Real mature. My last time going here. read more

Good coffee. Good food. Good service. Everything about Biggby is great. I come here at least once a week. The coffee is better than some of the other places. They make it the way you like. If you want extra hot, they do it. The breakfast sangawiches are tasty and hot. Seating inside and outside. I use both of them. The staff is always nice and helpful. I recommend. read more

Bigbby, You're going to have to get your act (Bartista's) Image together We stopped going in because of how rude and unprofessional your bartista's are (NOT DEBORAH she is VERY professional) We were driving by and thought Deborah was there so we decided to stop in for coffee. She was not but four of your employees were disturbing. And believe me, I'm being nice, They're language was deplorable to those who were sitting inside plus those who had to wait for their order. They didn't care that they were loud and word abusive. They just laughed and carrying on unprofessionly I think you should give your employees better customer service lessons read more

BIGGBY COFFEE - The very unprofessional employees - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ormond Beach, Florida

Lack of service. Very disappointing visit I attempted to give my old favorite coffee shop another chance from a previous poor experience 3 month prior. Coffee is good no lack in recipes following or ingredients. Customer service goes a long way where I spend my money. I loved Biggby previously for the great coffee but also the employees. Now that was 3 yrs ago since then I've been back twice both visit falling miserably short in my expectations. Be kind, especially when you are tipped for your service. Dumping excess water on the floor from your blender from a previous wash shows lack of character, cause of a potential safety issue let alone a hygiene concern. I will gladly visit the drive thru big box coffee shops at least they give me my coffee with a smile and good conversation that Biggby was once known for. read more

Always love a coffee and breakfast bagel from Biggby. The staff is always pleasant and genuinely happy to see you. The coffee is direct from farm and today I had the new light roast from Mexico that was very smooth with a wonderful aroma. read more

This is currently my favorite coffee I've had in years. To my dismay they are not close to me but I've already told my co worker he has to bring me their coffee every time he's near by. This is a cozy coffee shop with the friendliest staff ever and the best coffee flavors and combos. I got the ButterCup iced latte as suggested by the sweetest girl. It has Hazelnut, butterscotch and Carmel. The flavor was amazing and they have every milk alternative including my personal favorite Oat milk. Some other cool drinks I saw was blondie latte, black bear latte, blueberry bliss latte a red bull Creme freeze. They also have smoothies, tea lattes and all your traditional handcrafted drinks if your not into crafty drinks. A fun fact I loved is they give you a $1 off if you have a tattoo. How cool?! They support being different. They also have a bowl of dog bones inside so they love dogs too. Win, win?! Most importantly prices are great and they make your coffee so fast. read more

Pretty good coffee. You can adjust the sweetness if you don't want your coffee too sweet. I had the Butter Cookie Cold Brew with a little Cinnamon and without whipped cream. Little too sweet but I know to just adjust the sweetness level when I order next time. The 2 girls working were very friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee. My wife and daughter had the "Golden Honey" which was tumeric and honey. It was also good. My son got a small complimentary chocolate chip cookie freeze for his college graduation from ERAU. read more

Coffee is very good. Always get a great cup service is wonderful very friendly pricey, for a cup of coffee.

Perfect coffee and awesome staff. Always feel welcome coming here. The environment is also very calm.

Christian is a sweetheart. He was friendly, helpful and knows his coffee. He made my coffee shopping experience fun. I really enjoyed their espresso and hear there is a Biggby coming to Citrus County, over on the west coast! 3 cheers to that. Nice ljl coffee shop, can't wait for one to pop up in my neck of the woods! read more

Maybe if they greeted the customers we might spend money here instead of walking out and going to the Starbucks up the street from here.

Great coffee and even better service.. I only wish there were more Biggby's in Florida!

BIGGBY COFFEE - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ormond Beach, Florida

We stopped into Biggby Coffee on our way home from Ormond Beach, and I fell in love. What an awesome coffee shop! For starters, my husband and I looked like we had been sleeping in the woods for a couple days (we had been camping). Regardless of our appearance we were greeted warmly and the employees started up a conversation with us the whole time they made our drinks. I ordered a mint mocha latte, which was delicious. More like a hot chocolate with coffee and mint. We ordered hot chocolates and a hot cider for the kids. Even though we had ordered one of the kids drinks the smaller size they went ahead and made it the bigger cup for free. So nice! If I lived in the area Biggby's would probably break me of my Starbucks addiction. Alas, I checked their locations online, and there are very few in the south. Most are in Michigan. So I either need to move to Michigan or pursuade someone to open a Biggby's franchise in Orlando (the latter is the better plan). So go to Biggby's. And try to talk someone into opening one in Orlando for me. read more

Their cream of Earl grey latte was fantastic. Lightly sweetened just as I had requested. My dad enjoyed their caramel-flavored espresso drinks, and my grandmother loved her Americano. Their breakfast sandwiches are also good. I'd recommend for anyone visiting the Daytona area! read more

SAVAGE!! They are Dunkin and Starbucks COMBINED and THEN SOME! Customer service on POINT!! And they have sooooo many different lattes that are both unique and tasty! Great coffee!!! The only chain around that you can actually get a wide selection of beans and good other treats as well. Very comfortable spot with friendly staff I tried three different coffees in one sitting and found it easy to work from here for several hours. Whenever I am in Michigan I try and find one and it is not hard as here, but have now bookmarked this spot to be my substitute of the Starbucks down the road. read more

Really enjoyed this coffee break. Staff was very friendly and coffee was very good. I love that they have whole bean coffee for sale in the shop that you can bag yourself ! I had the teddy bear frozen and chai frozen. Both were very good not too much ice and they didn't try to half full then cover up with whip cream! I wish there was a location near me! Didn't try any food but i would absolutely return for coffee! read more

My wife and two daughters are big coffee drinkers. Me? Not so much. Actually more like not at all! So I hate to go with them to Starbucks or similar places because it smells like coffee beans in there. And it seems like so many of the people there are.....uhhhhh.....I don't want to hurt feelings but like hipsters or caffeine bums just taking up space and Wi-Fi. Biggby Coffee is more like family. The place is always ultra clean and spotless. The air smells of clean, not coffee beans. I don't think it has ever been recorded that someone walked in the door and made it to the front counter without someone saying "Hi" or "Good morning" or smiling at you from the other side. Randy Frank (owner) is the nicest guy you could ever meet and his employees take after him. They do this cool contest every day where they put a random trivia question up on the chalkboard. If you guess it right then you get to pick from a jar filled with assort Biggby coupons. The questions are always though provoking and many times humorous. Since I don't drink coffee then I'm only left with hot chocolate. And WOW! Is it ever great there! They also have a Mint Hot Chocolate that is amazing. My family loves to get the Butter Bear Latte. They also have assorted food such as bagels and other items. But the Hot Chocolate is the hands-down best around! So if you want to go to a loud place to get your coffee and feel rushed where they have to write your name on the cup so they know which one is ours then go to the Starbucks down the street. If you want to go somewhere that'll greet you happily when you walk in the door and personally hand you your coffee when you are done (because they are making it RIGHT THERE FOR YOU as they talk to you) then go to Biggby Coffee. They also offer a punch card to earn free stuff and they have a parking space right out front just for them! Enjoy! And tell Randy that Matt said "Hi"!!! read more

Biggby's is the Cheers of Ormond Beach! it is the friendliest place around. the baristas are skilled, helpful, and the nicest young people. Randy has a skill of hiring the best. The coffee is excellent and the choices outstanding. I've been going since they opened and have NEVER had a bad experience. walking in, I am called by name and the baristas know my "go to" drink. It truly is a home away from home. The Sunday crew is by far the absolute best! Biggby's is my only choice for coffee! read more

Much better service, friendliness, coffee and affordability than Starbucks. BIGGBY COFFEE - Its so good!! Just stop and try it. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ormond Beach, Florida

I say the best coffee and the best service ever!!! The staff a second to none with their professional and perky attitudes.

If you're needing a pick me up after a day at Ormond Beach make sure you stop by Biggby Coffee. Service is friendly and the staff will happily chat with you while you wait. The shop is open, bright, airy and clean. You can get your drink hot, iced or frozen. I'm not a fan of the cold drinks so ended up getting a chocolate teddy bear which is a hot latté made with white chocolate and caramel. They accommodated my request for less sweetened drink by only adding half the syrup. The drink was delicious and with its whip cream and swirls of chocolate and caramel pretty to boot. Biggby is only a couple of blocks east of Starbucks so make sure you support the little guy by going to Biggby. You'll be glad you did! read more
