Service was bad and the coffee was mediocre. It took them 20 minutes and the girl that helped me was rude to me the whole time.

What a beautiful coffee shop! I love the open and bright feeling. There are a variety of seating…read moreoptions - soft seating, a few 2 & 4 top tables, bar/counter seating, and the most beautiful long table with plants set out on it surrounded by log style seating with cushions. So many cozy places to vibe. It's possible to reserve little sections of the shop for group events too. The menu is standard coffee shop offerings and I loved the espresso spritz that I got - I've never had a coffee that made me feel like I was drinking a cocktail before! The baked goods were high quality and tasty. The barista crew was super kind and friendly. They seemed to enjoy working together and went out of their way to be chatty and friendly towards me. Their little merch selections was super hard to resist - they sell cute totes and cups including clay cups which was unique. I loved their community focus and sustainability. Definitely check out Aldea if you're in the area - it's a beautiful space to be.

We happened upon this wonderful spot by chance whilst camping at Muskegon State Campground…read more I was immediately drawn to the interior decoration, creative corner for the kids, delicious coffee, and sustainable business model. Everything tasted phenomenal and we relaxed for a better part of an hour drawing, reading, and taking in the smell of live plants while listening to soothing cafe tunes. Across the way there is a beautiful boutique store with cute clothes and jewelry. They had paper bags to decorate for the kid's food basket along with print offs for kids to color. I loved their little library of books to curl up to. This place felt like a refuge to sit, relax, and be creative. Thankful these places exist. They make a killer cappuccino- reminded me of Italy. Strong and small. Definitely check out this place if you need to be caffeinated or want a gf cookie. I like it the most for the vibessssss.

Maybe she was having an off day and that's okay! But it made for an awkward experience. The music was very loud, and that was the reason I decided to leave. The seating is unique. Most of it is high tops. There is a couch area and 2 tables that are regular tables. It is a small space and the design is nice, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's cozy. I had a Valentine's special, a red velvet latte. It was okay. The cheesecake cold foam was the best I have ever had, but the latte itself tasted so artificial like maybe it had too much red velvet or something? Not sure! Maybe it would be better if I gave it another try sometime! I wish them great success though!

Seemed like a clean and quiet place to enjoy a drink, baked good, or sandwich at. I asked if they could make any of their fun seasonal drinks vegan. After some back and forth between four different staff members, they said their spinach, feta, egg bites were an option. Confused, I said, "Egg is not vegan. Cheese is not vegan." One of the staff responded, "That's good to know!" Finally, the manager (maybe?) landed on this response: "We can't do any of our seasonal drinks vegan, we also do not serve any vegan food. Our only vegan option is a cold brew with almond or coconut milk." I ordered a cold brew with a splash of almond milk and a tiny (emphasized multiple times) squirt of flavored syrup (a brand I knew was vegan). They didn't know how to make it. I heard two of them trying to figure out what the ratio of coffee to milk was. I ended up with a cup of iced almond milk, topped with some cold brew, and a thiiiiiiick layer of syrup at the bottom. It was like drinking cake. If you're vegan, heads-up. If you're a person who wants any adjustments made to your coffee order, heads-up. If you like coffee forward drinks, heads-up. It seems they have a dedicated/set menu and really don't or can't veer from it.

Our waitress was super kind and attentive, which honestly carried a lot of the experience. And I have to start with the highlight - the chai pistachio latte. Phenomenal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet, the pistachio flavor hit, and easily my favorite part of the meal (also just aesthetic). Food-wise, it was a mix. I got the Gouda Breakfast Burger and I loved it - juicy, cheesy, stacked, and exactly what I needed (pregnant me was very happy ). I'd honestly come back just for that. My boyfriend got the Kickin Chicken Benedict, and while the jalapeño hollandaise had a really nice kick, the poached eggs were more "gel" than runny... which is a little disappointing for a brunch spot since that's kind of the main event. Other than that, my boyfriend said it was alright. We also did ask for extra crispy hashbrowns and... they definitely did not understand the assignment. More soft than crispy, which was a letdown too. We also tried the Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast - good, but not super memorable. For two people, our total was over $80 (three entrees, two lattes, a coffee, and an orange juice), which felt a little high for the overall experience - but not unreasonable if everything hit a bit stronger. Overall, this place has some strong highlights (drinks, burger, and service), just needs a little more consistency across the board to really stand out.
