I never leave reviews but without fail this biggby has always been quick, efficient, and the workers are some of the nicest people out of ANY fast food establishment I've been too. All smiles and goes out of their way to start a quick and happy conversation. They have the cutest "this or that" tip jar that they hand draw as well! I've never been inside only through the drive through, however, looks pretty nice on the inside too. Great people will always entice me to come back. read more

Coffee was fine but barista was difficult to deal with. Just wanted a 20 oz latte and asked how much to add two pumps of flavoring. Didn't want whip and four pumps of flavoring in their specialty drink. I just wanted a plain latte with two pumps added. Could not get a straight answer to save my life, just kept going in circles. Finally just got a plain latte and added my own flavoring to avoid the headache. If you just want a coffee with a little flavoring, save yourself a headache and bring your own flavoring. If you want a specialty coffee that resembles a hot melted milkshake then no worries, you'll be fine read more

usually a friendly place, however yesterday, a young lady with very short green tinted hair was extremely rude. i had asked about the freshness of their muffins and she was very rude. She said the muffins came frozen. Then I asked how they tasted and she responded negatively, with a frown on her face, that she never ate them. I asked her if she was having a bad day and she said loudly, "I am just being honest, she popped her eyes out at me and swayed her head in a very sarcastic manner. Obviously it was very uncomfortable, so I told her I was going to go elsewhere. I went up the road to the Okemos shop. When service is that unfriendly I can't go back or recommend this place to other people. The coffee is delicious and I'm sorry I have to spend the extra time to get my coffee in Okemos. read more

I've coming here for a month now and I will continue to be a patron because of the consistently positive experiences I've had here. Employees are friendly and helpful by making great recommendations and providing timely service even during the busiest times. The Bragel sandwiches are awesome and wrapped in foil to keep warm, I recommend the turkey havarti. The shop is always tidy and comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. I've noticed some reviews about the drive thru taking too long and I will say, that has happened to me once where I was waiting for probably 10 minutes behind a car at the window. And what do you know, the person in front of me ordered 5 fancy drinks that held up the line. So if you're reading this and you want a speedy drive thru, please don't be that person just park and go inside to order. read more

Ok where do I begin. There were 2 cars ahead of us in the drive thru and it took 30 minutes. Not an exaggeration. After we finally got up to the window after ordering it took another 10 minutes for two coffees. Really? They didn't put whip on one of them even though it always comes with whip. And the frozen came with whip but wasn't fully blended. So after waiting 40 minutes for 2 coffees it was less than stellar. I will never go back to this location. The least they could have done was apologized for the wait when we got to the window, but nope. read more

Not impressed with my first experience at this location. I went through the drive thru and asked for an egg and cheese sandwich and ice coffee with creamer on the side bc they always drown my coffee in creamer. Anyway, it was pouring rain so I simply paid for my order and left. The young lady at the window seemed apathetic about working but I didn't give it much thought. When I opened up my bad I was so disappointed bc 1. the sandwich was slathered in cream cheese as well as regular cheese (I specifically asked for nothing else on the sandwich) which surprised me bc I didn't know this was a thing and I didn't see it on the menu. I feel like they made a cream cheese bagel for someone who didn't want it then decided to make it work for my order. 2. No cream at all so I had to drink it plain. 3. No napkins. Who does that for a to go order when the customer doesn't have access to napkins, even at the pickup window. Simply put- this bad experience could have been easily avoided with attention to detail and common sense. Also- the parking lot was empty so I know they weren't bombarded with customers. read more

Hey I love Biggby and the non-drive thru locations in this area are fantastic. The staff at this location is also lovely and friendly, but this place needs new management. The drive thru is so inefficient that the half hour for two cars ahead of you is still the reality here. I feel that if you cannot staff your business with enough properly trained people to at least move one car through the drive-thru per five minutes, you need to not offer the drive-thru as an option. People come to a drive-thru with an expectation of rapid and convenient coffee/food and this location will disappoint in that department every single time. You're better off going inside at a different location in Okemos, it will 100% be faster. Horrible, incredibly slow drive-thru that every time it feels unreal lmao. Skip. read more

I have been here a few times and each time it was because this was the closest option. Every time the drinks have no flavor and seem to be made quick just to get people through the drive thru. I will no longer go to this BIGGBY. Very disappointed, I know sometimes you may get the drink wrong but every time I have been there the drink has been bad. read more

An employee I believe named Aaron was very rude to her fellow employees. She harassed them for there speed and would keep telling them to talk to the customers more which actually slowed them down. She literally was the reason it took so long when the other employees were excellent. read more

Terrible customer service. Cashier added drinks to my order that I didn't ask for, charged me for them and acted super confused when I asked for my receipt. I had been given everything I actually did order and it was clear they had no intention of giving me or even making the 2 extra drinks she charged me for. I've never really had a bad experience here, but it looks like other's have. Generally my drinks are super quick. The music is not annoyingly loud. I'll switch it up between lattes all the time, and I don't really have any issues what so ever. That said, I've never really been in a long line so I guess I don't know how they handle busy moments. There are times where it seems as like the waitstaff is not really thrilled to be there. But I mean, whatever...I'm just trying to get my coffee and go. They could probably improve that area...but overall it's a decent place. My go to is the Earl Grey, and it's always made like my other stop in Lansing. read more

If I could give this place a ZERO I would! 30 minutes in the drive through line with ONE person ahead of me (he was handed two coffees and a bagel) for two LUKE WARM coffees (sat on the drive through counter without lids for five minutes before the barista stopped helping inside counter customers to hand me my order - missing the whipped toppings and when I asked she literally yelled at me "well if it's not there we clearly don't have any"- she didn't know which coffee was which and one was decaf due to a heart problem that required decaf) and a Turkey Havarti Bragel which turned out to be just a turkey and cream cheese bagel (because it had no havarti cheese) - that was stone COLD. I asked for a receipt for my purchase - was stared at like a deer in headlights, got no receipt and the window closed in my face. This was NOT my first bad experience here but it was the worst. Four cars behind me drove off they took so long and had I not paid, I'd have gone too - which didn't matter anyway because not knowing which was decaf I had to throw them out - along with the disgustingly messed up bagel. A complete waste of money! If you all want great service, the right order the first time and a friendly, competent staff take the extra time and visit the Biggby at 3499 E Lake Lansing Rd - there's no drive through, but they NEVER disappoint! read more

Tried this location twice. Both times, I waited 15 minutes in line. Second visit, I received the wrong order but was in such a hurry, I didn't try it until I was at work. Nice idea of turning a bank into a Biggby but the window is on such an angle that it's difficult to pull a truck/SUV close enough. Hope they get better. Great location. I love Biggby and have visited this location a few times and after today, won't be returning. I visited this location this morning through the drive-thru. Watched the barista make my drink (butterbear with coconut milk, no whip because I'm lactose intolerant) and noticed he hadn't grabbed coconut milk. Made the drink with regular milk and topped it with whip. Then I watched him look at the ticket again, pause to think, and then proceeded to SCOOP THE WHIP OUT onto another drink. He mixed what he didn't get off around and put a lid on it and handed it to me. I asked if it was made with coconut milk and he hesitated and told me he didn't know it was supposed to be that. Didn't offer to remake it until I asked if he could because I can't drink milk. I don't know if he was lying to cover his ass or if he really didn't look at the ticket close enough. Anyway, He took the drink and "remade" one with coconut milk. I left and when I drank it, it had zero flavoring added. I enjoy the taste of espresso, but again, not what I ordered. Just shit service and if I hadn't payed attention to the milk he used, I could've had a severe reaction. People do not give a shit there and it shows. read more

First time visiter to this location. The staff seemed to be on the "struggle bus." They were not working together and didn't even seem to like working together, or working at all. I waited as the only person in line at the register while others waited at the drive thru. I love Big B, but have been at much better run locations. Sad to say my first visit to this location was not wonderful. The place is filthy. It is three hours before closing and they had already shut down the brewing pots thus there was no flavored decaf. coffee. It could us a little warmth in the atmosphere. I love Bigby Coffee, but this place is way below par. Every time I come in here it takes forever and I only order drip coffee! They never have cream or milk out and when you ask for it they take forever to put it out for you. This place needs better management. The staff always act like they are chickens running around with their heads cut off. Someone needs to step in and help them get it together. Unfortunately, this is the only Bigby on my way to work. I continue to stop in occasionally in hopes of a better experience but I have yet to have one. read more

Friendly-ish staff and I am thankful for the drive -thru, however... The coffee absolutely SUCKS! Coffee is the whole point of my going to Biggby COFFEE, but this location's coffee is always burnt and has no flavor. For example, I will go to this location one day and order a Raspberry Cream Tart coffee and it has barely any flavor and is bitter to taste. I then go to another location near by and order the exact same drink. The coffee at the other location is sweet and FULL of flavor. This location's coffee is just disgusting. It's the closest to my house and has the most convenient drive-thru, but I will drive out of my way to another location to buy a better coffee. read more
