He always treats my "baby" like the princess she is and keeps me fully informed on all services as well as what maintenance and or repairs need to be done and when. Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**

I start the wash and the first thing I notice is there is no high pressure soap. I saw an employee walking across the (avoiding eye contact with me) so I walk closer to him. Me: can you check the high pressure soap? Employee: Oh it's broke. Didn't you see the sign? Me: What sign? Employee: Oh someone must have torn them all down. High pressure soap is broken. I finish in the bay and pull forward to the vacuums which I then discover are broken as well. There's no towels (just like last year) and the vacuum area is a mess. Trash everywhere and you can tell no one has paid any attention since the last time I was here. That's because the employees are sitting around a round table smoking and joking. There's no time to clean the place when that table clearly needed someone to hold it down. Parting thoughts; this place is a joke. My thought is, if they pay that little attention to detail would I trust them to change my oil? The answer is nope. No worries though as I won't be back unless I hear it changes ownership to someone who gives a damn about their business. P.S. during the 45 minutes I was there no one took the time to hang new "No soap" signs. I question the honesty of the employee that informed me of said signs.

It took me six years living in AZ but I have finally found my go to automotive repair shop. I grew…read moreup in a very small rural town and we had an excellent local family owned shop. They were very honest and reliable. There are a lot options and finding one in the area was a bit overwhelming. I have tried several with mixed results. More bad then good. None that I was able to say. Yep, this is what my expectations are. When our 2015 Dodge Journey check engine light came on I needed a mechanic. The sooner the better. I never expected the negative situation to turn into very positive one. From the first call the customer service was flawless. Very friendly and welcoming. I was able to get it in the same day. When I explained I did not have a ride home I was offered a ride although I'm sure that may not be the norm. Little did I know. It was a perfect opportunity to meet another member of the team and learn a bit about the shop. When I dropped off the vehicle we spoke about doing a close inspection as our warranty is expiring soon. They not only fixed the electrical problem causing the check engine light but found other repairs covered under our warranty that needed to be done. Communication was spot on. Keeping me updated on progress and an idea on pricing the whole way. Then a call when completed. Although the warranty covered the repairs. I looked over the invoice carefully and the pricing was still fantastic. I was able to get several repairs that would have cost over $3000 done for my $100 deductible. I have since taken in our other vehicle. It has almost 250,000 miles on it. Needless to say it is not under warranty. The customer service level and pricing was again flawless. I had several repairs at a price well below what I expected. It will now pass emissions and ready for several thousand more miles. I am sure they could have nickel and dimed me with repairs worth more then the car. After 20 years in the customer service industry I appreciate excellent service. I know many others also look closely at reviews and rely heavily on them like I do. Greulich's Automotive Repair earned every bit of this 5 star review and more. Thank you for earning my business. You certainly have a long term customer as a result of putting them first. See you guys next time.

They replaced some hoses and told me the problem was fixed, but the car continued smoking afterward. I brought it back again, and they kept my vehicle for several days and drove it multiple times, only to tell me they "couldn't find anything wrong." Meanwhile, the original issue was still happening. At that point, I completely lost trust in this shop. Not only were they extremely expensive, but despite spending over $4,000 there, my vehicle issues only continued getting worse. The first time the vehicle stopped starting, I ended up replacing the starter myself. It started again afterward, but only lasted about a week before it stopped starting once more. That's when I finally decided to take it to the Jeep dealership for another inspection. I was then informed that the engine is now seized and I'm being quoted around $11,000 for a new engine. I'm extremely disappointed with the repeated misdiagnosis and lack of urgency regarding serious symptoms like engine shaking and exhaust smoke. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop to anyone.
