Just like the straw I got, I have been admiring the handywork of the hat shapers there. I took a risk by ordering an unconventional color but the green looks great in different lighting and compliments just about every shirt I wear with it. Depending on the lighting it looks between gray, black, and green. A versatile and good looking hat that I plan on keeping for a while. American Hats for whatever reason tend to run small in felts, so order the next size up that you would wear with the straw. These hats ain't cheap so be prepared to drop quite a bit of money. I went to the hat shaping queen herself, Bailey, and gave her my best attempt at explaining what I wanted. I'm honestly surprised she didn't need a translator for what I was trying to describe, but within about 20 minutes it was exactly how I pictured. Even with me asking what were probably some dumb questions, she only gave me a smile and a clear explanation every time. I can't say Teskey's is my all-around favorite shop, but Bailey is my favorite hat shaper -- so this is where I'll be getting my hats suppose. Pizza out side smelled pretty good too.

Fincher's at the Stock Show where they had a booth selling Justin Boots -- and the experience was outstanding. Earlier that day, we visited several other booths and honestly felt disappointed. There was very little assistance, and most places seemed overpriced and uninterested in helping customers. Then we wandered into C.B. Fincher's booth and were greeted by J. Morton -- and everything changed. J. helped fit our twin boys and was incredibly patient with them as they tried to figure out what they wanted. He had them try on multiple boots in various sizes and took the time to teach them what to look for in the "perfect fit." He didn't rush them or push a sale. Instead, he focused on making sure they understood the fit and felt confident in their choice. He also made sure we, as parents, were completely comfortable and happy with their selections. The boots worked out great, the price was very fair, and the quality is excellent. What really stood out wasn't just the product -- it was the service. J. Morton was a true salesman in the best sense of the word. It was obvious that he cared more about making us feel welcome and taken care of than simply making a sale. Great prices. Great quality boots. But the real star of this western store is the people. Real quality products and real quality people. We'll absolutely be back.
