Today was our first time there at this or any Big Woody's location. The reason we came here today was because we were at a Lehigh Valley Phantoms game last night and if the Phantoms scored 3 goals then your ticket stub gets you a free slice of pizza from Big Woody's. We decided to make that our lunch. We got there around 2pm on a Sunday and it wasn't very busy in the restaurant part. The "crowd" was around the bar watching football so we were the only table in the joint. We were greeted by a nice girl who sat us and told us our server would be with us. We waited about 5 minutes and the same girl came back with menus. Then about another 5 minutes went by and she came back with 2 people she was training and then finally took our order. We ordered just the pizza and an order of nachos. The place was clean and had tv's galore with football playing at every angle. We aren't big sports fans but I'd assume some people would absolutely love that aspect of this place. Our food came out relatively quickly and the quality was pretty good. The reason I'm rating 3 stars is because I feel like the service was lacking. We were the ONLY table in there and technically had 3 waitresses but no-one ever came back to check on our drinks, ask if we needed utensils (which we did but made do without since no-one was around) or just to generally ask how things were going. If you were training someone, wouldn't you want to almost over-serve? Maybe I'm expecting too much out of a sports bar...or maybe not. This is probably just a good place to go and drink at the bar and that's probably why everyone was over there instead of eating at tables. read more

First time there and heard about this place through people in area. Gave it a try the other day and was not bad. Pizza was decent overall. Was a bit thin in middle but good. The fries as the appetizer were great and crispy. Service was a bit off due to having the bartender waiting tables but, understandable due to mid afternoon and not busy enough to have more staff on the clock. The interior very well laid out as a sports fan loved the sports decor for sure. A lot of older autograph pictures so that was nice to see. Highly recommend and the cheesesteak is my next adventure there after seeing that on another table. read more

Beer and bartender is the only thing good about this place. Place was dead for a FRIDAY at 4pm. Food is not hot or even warm. This was my second visit. I was dining locally here 5 years ago and it was bad. Thought I'd check in to see if any improvement. HELL NO. I rarely leave reviews but the cooks and managers have horrible attitudes. They messed up an online order and gave it to someone else and acknowledged that they were at fault. Still refused to fix it because they didn't want to waste anymore food or time even though they gave away the wrong meal for free to someone else. If you're not gonna train your employees to take to go orders then don't accept them it's as simple as that. read more

We have been coming here for the last 3 years for the DCI show in August. The management seems to have lost their minds. We arrived tonight to find almost every table unbussed and only a bartender. We sat at a table and she told us she is the only front of house staff member working. It's 5:30pm on a SaturdayShe has a full bar and 2 other tables. She was not aware there was an event in the stadium across the street tonight. As we sit here, waiting patiently for our food, we watched 5 parties come in, look around, wait for someone to greet them, and then finally leave. Sadly, we should have done the same. But the bartender is trying her best so we will stay. Management needs to get on the ball here. Hopefully our food is decent and luckily we aren't in a hurry. Wrote this last year but realized I didn't hit send until I went to write another review. Year 4 and nothing has changed. 2 servers for the whole place. Can't get food. If the owners only knew how many people walked out. I'm sure the servers/bartenders aren't ringing in everything they pour. And I'm sure people are walking without paying. If you're looking to get a glimpse of what mid 00-07 urban street environment was like filled with half pint crooks, terrible music , terrible loud cars and poor hygiene , then big woodys is the place. First time I ever posted on Yelp, the service and food were so bad. Ordered online because close by driving near Hamilton and ordered two cheesesteaks and pretzel knots. Never checked the bag because I saw three containers. When I got home the two containers were steaks third was pickles and sauce. A cheese container on top but no pretzels. When I called the manager ( and I saw her pack the food) said she saw the pretzels in the container, I have them she was very nasty and argued with me that she even saw the girl put the cheese on the pretzels! I said how when I have the cheese. So she checked came back on phone and said they are still in the warmer. No apology and when I asked her name she hung up Steaks were awful, dry not tasty. DO NOT...go to the 4th Street Woody"s on a Friday during the day. Been going to this place for literally years. The bartenders are at the mercy of the cooks when ordering food. Watched as a regular customer had to go hungry because his order took too long. Waited for mine for @ half an hour. When my cheesesteak came out it was dry and didn't have my toppings. Shorted me in the mini pierogies too. Wouldn't feed this to my dog. Cook(?) was hanging at the bar with a buddy most of the time. Even a 1 star rating is to high...I ordered a 10" pizza...after eating it I noticed fat/grease very think on the bottom and sides of the tray it came on.. I called the manager to come out...he walks out with his sweatpants pulled up to his knees, nasty sweatshirt, I showed him the problem and he say, sorry..I'm like this is disgusting and again he goes. Absolutely the WORST customer service of any restaurant I was EVER been a patron of. Walk in to pickup an online order, staff all around the kitchen having a nice little get together. My order was NEVER removed from the printer until I arrived and they had "no record of the order." Save yourself the trouble and order from a different pizza place. My party ordered door dash to get some pizzas, order arrived over an hour later and it was the complete wrong order. I ran out and told the door dasher and told them they gave us the wrong order and they said this was the order given under our name. I can't even blame them because they just picked up the order. We paid for two large pizzas and received a quesadilla...I called the restaurant and they said it was all door dashes fault and there was nothing they could do...although they were the ones to put the wrong order in. I ordered a small WHITE pizza with Red Onions, Green Peppers, and Bacon , along with a chicken cheesesteak wrap and mozzarella sticks. I specifically said NO Sauce because I have a food allergy to tomatoes. My son picked up the order, and when he got home, the pizza had sauce, which I could not eat due to the tomato allergy. I called Woodys and complained about the pizza having sauce when it was supposed to be a white no sauce pizza. I spoke to a carmen who said that the pizza should not have had sauce , and they would make another one. My son went to pick up the 2nd pizza, and when he got home, I opened the box, and It was a plain white pizza WITHOUT the red peppers, Onions and Bacon I called again for the 3rd time and asked to speak to the manager, who said he would make the 3rd pizza himself and have it delivered, he said there was a changed in shift and thats why the pizza was made wrong. . It took them an hour to deliver my 3rd pizza, and it was COLD!! How can you run a business this way where it takes you three times to get the order right and then have the nerve to deliver a cold pizza. We ordered food from here at the recommendation of the front desk at The Renaissance Hotel because there is literally nowhere to get food anywhere near here after 10 pm. The calzone we received was undercooked. The sliders I ordered were undercooked and the bacon, lettuce and onions we requested were not included. When we called they did not care that they messed up and only said "we didn't charge you for the bacon". We also ordered a Pepsi because that's all they had and they sent a Diet Pepsi. Terrible experience. Came to Woody's after a Phantoms game as they promote it as the place to go after the Phantoms score 3 goals. We arrived to find a half full restaurant and one waitress. She was sweet but in over her head. Her brilliant manager Sebastian sent 3 wait staff home 30 min before the game let out. Besides waiting an hour for two undercooked pizzas, we asked for the Flyers game to be tunrned on one of the 100 TVs in this Sports Bar, only to be told after asking for the 10th time that they couldn't figure out how to turn it on in the dining room..... I am very hesitant to give negative reviews but this was terrible. I am officially a first time and last time customer. I sincerely hope management sees this and instead of making excuses makes fixes. read more

I'm not sure where to begin. We placed a relatively small order, to pick up, last Friday night around 8:15 pm. Was told 20-25 min for pick up. Ok no problem. We show up, give our name and we're told they're still working on it. Again, okay, no problem. Then I'm watching, not a single employee wearing a mask. Not one. And it seemed so disheveled and chaotic, then it hit me. They all have to be high. Every employee was blazed. I waited 45 min, was given 2 of my 4 items, and I had to remind them, hey, we have 2 more. Then the employee proceeds to give me one more thing. And I remind him again, there's another one too. He goes oh yeah haha that's still cooking. Like how? We called over an hour ago and I've physically been here for 45 min now waiting?! Ten more min go by, finally I have my entire order I'm a patient person, I have no problem understanding a business is busy, and I respect the hustle. But respect me too. And my time. Tell me hey, it's going to be 45 min for pick up. I'd be perfectly okay knowing that going in. And respect those around you, put on a mask. We're all doing it. I was really disappointed. This place brags about having all the NFL games... My wife and kids went in to watch our beloved KC Chiefs And we told the hostess who identified herself as the manager that we only wanted to dine there if our game was on. She said she would put it on and seated us. 10 minutes went by with no service or game on one of the 60 ish TV's. I went to look for her after 10 minutes and she said everyone was watching the other games so she refused to put our game on any of the dozens of TV's. What good is it to have 60 tv's if you can only have 3 or 4 games on all of them??? She clearly could give a damn. We left. Will never return! Poorly managed... If I can give this restaurant negative 10 stars it would be great. I placed an order, and was informed that the delivery would be between 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. After an hour and a half, I called to inquire about my order and was told that the order had left the restaurant. I live approximately 15 minutes away. Twenty minutes later, I called again and was told the order actually just left the store again. When the order was not delivered 2 hours and 5 minutes later, I called and spoke to the manager Lisa. She stated that the driver was close by and to call her back when the order arrived. She said to call her as soon as the order arrived. I stated that I hope the food didn't arrive cold as we had been waiting for 2 hours. The order arrived exactly 2 hours and 20 minutes after we placed the order. When the order arrived just by grabbing the pizza box we knew the pizza was cold. We called the restaurant to speak to Lisa to let her know that the food had arrived cold and we were missing an item from our order. She said she could only give us 10% refund or send out the missing order of fries again. We refused the fries as who would want to wait more than an hour for fries. So Lisa, thanks for the 10% credit (NOT) and I will be checking of you even did that. I'm sure that the corporate office will be happy with the email containing the receipt as well as the screenshot of all the calls made to the restaurant prior to receiving our order. I hope this review makes you take into consideration having better customer service skills and keeping your customers happy. Had your staff person who answered the phone informed that your restaurant was "busy" and that there would be an estimated hour or more for delivery, then I wouldn't be here giving your restaurant such a bad review. My husband and I went there on a Monday afternoon, because of the time we were only people there. He ordered a miller lite and was told it was out but then the bartender pulled the other tap and it was fine. I wanted to order a 10 piece wings and split it with 2 sauces and the bartender told me the kitchen couldn't do that. My husband ordered a grilled chicken ceasar wrap and it came breaded. I ordered wings and it came without blu cheese or ranch and no carrots or celery. My husband asked for ketchup for his fries that and the bartender never brought it (we were the only customers in the whole place).
