My girlfriend and I had a fun time out there. The course is in great shape and everyone was very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

He talked down to my girlfriend to the point she was CRYING in front of other guest at an event. He locked me out of the portal to book tee times when people weekly dont show up for their golf scheduled. I have the voicemail he left me if anyone would like to hear the way he talks to his members. Ive been double charged the last 2 months and he will not refund my credit card and Im out $1500 right now. Ive asked 3x for help and he holds a grudge against people. Save your money go to Wyandot, bent tree, or somewhere else for $40 and save your money. If this is how upper management will allow their so called managers to run a private club, you are wasting your money Let's talk food, Ive never had a carry out meal come as ordered. Good luck getting food also within 30-45 minutes of when you order. Last time we sat down I dont think drinks came out for 10-15 minutes when I was entertaining and food at least a half hour after. Id suggest saving your money and going to a profession operation like The Lakes or Medallion who actually cares about the member and the experience. I hope this just is enough to make sure you are aware before signing up and spending your hard earned money. Spend a little more and go somewhere you feel good and have good people around you

Ive been scouting…read moresome places for a girls golf day and drinks and after leaving a friends house in the area I saw this and hadn't been in so figured I'd stop to take a peek as the looks are scenic on the outside. Horrible decision. Upon entering the restaurant I was harassed by some drunk guy that apparently worked there. When I asked him if I knew him (I'm not from the area lol) he went off on some rant. Would not recommend and can see why the last time they got "best of" was 2021. Gives me creepy roofie vibes to be honest. Cheers

I show up 25 min early for my round, only to find out there is a 45 min delay due to frost. Not ideal, but I understand that can happen this time of year. I buy some range balls and go to hit them thinking I have an hour plus before my tee time. Well about 40 minutes later I get called to the tee box and have to leave half a bucket of range balls and didn't get to putt... great communication. We then proceed to take two hours and fifty minutes to play the front 9 as they were just sending people off as fast as they could to make up for the frost delay. Waiting 10-15 minutes on every hole to tee off, sometimes having 3 groups on a single tee box. It was the most miserable golfing experience I've ever had. I came in at the turn to ask for my money back, as I didn't want to take another 3 hours to play nine holes, and we very likely wouldn't have finished before the sun went down anyway. Instead of being apologetic about how poorly handled the day was on their part, I was treated with rudeness and disrespect. I live almost an hour away from this course, so I was already pretty upset I drove all that way only to play 9 holes. I was then told that I couldn't have my money back for the holes we didn't play because "they don't do that here". Instead I was offered $27.50 in credit that was only good until "the end of the season". Considering the season is effectively over now, I was basically told to go kick rocks due to their ineptitude as a golf course. One of the most infuriating encounters I've ever had.

The Chapel Hill Golf Course opened in 1996 on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College. The original Chapel that once served as a place of worship now serves as a rather unique clubhouse. The clubhouse offers typical golf course fare - hot dogs, chips, pop, beer, etc. Rates are generally affordable. We generally try to "walk" most courses but this is one course where we usually rent carts. This course has a lot of ups and downs that not only makes the course challenging to play but it also makes for a long and challenging walk. If you're playing Chapel Hill for the 1st time, I'd strongly recommend using a cart. Then you can make your own decision on your next round. Chapel Hill was in great condition this season and the tees, greens and fairways were all in generally good condition. The last time we played there this season was in November and the course was wet but was still green and well-groomed. This course is off the beaten path for us (we all live in suburbs on the north side of Columbus) but it's pretty reasonably priced and is worth the drive. The staff in the clubhouse and the starter (one of the few courses we play that still has a starter) are all great.

Both rounds were 5 hours and 45 minutes. Setting tee times every 9 minutes is ridiculous. I get trying to maximize $$/profit but my God, that's how you get six hour rounds and lose customers. I would pay more than the $80. You are already charging for a round. If it meant quicker rounds, and not having to wait on every single hole for every single shot. If you were going to set times at every nine minutes, at least your starter and Rangers can go and enforce pace of play. There was a woman two groups in front of us, as we were all bunched on the first tee for a 1012 am tee time and they were already running 25 minutes behind. The starter could see every shot and could see everybody's frustration when it took the woman eight shots to get up to the green. ( there are great women's legs out there, there are smaller courses, but please, if you're going to take a shots on every hole to get up to the green, please stay away) The starter doesn't do anything about this, he needs to relay this to the Ranger to keep them moving. Maybe suggest teeing the ball in the fairway 100 yards out. Or like on the 4th tee when the Ranger comes up to our group, any point out that all four people in the group in front of us are over in the right rough looking for one, yes ONE person's ball. Before the Ranger got to us we set a timer and it had already been 6 1/2 minutes that they were looking for his ball. We were yelling that it was lost and I just drop one. The Ranger just looked at us and said that he would say something but continued driving the other way. It was like this on every hole. The group in front of us they would all go to one person's ball, one time, one of the drivers of the carts left the dude on the opposite side of the fairway without any clubs, so he had to drive all the way back. Multiple holes were they were spending 5+ minutes looking for balls. It wasn't all their fault, as I just said the group in front of them had a woman that was probably scoring between 10-15 on every hole. When we got to the back nine on all but one hole the group behind us would always catch us and end up waiting. Three times the group behind them cut all of us and there were three groups of waiting on. Tees It's a nice course, but like I said, it needs some sort of enforcement with peace of play. and maybe some nice suggestions to people that you appreciate them coming out, but they should probably go to a different course that better suits their game at the moment.
