Good luck getting food also within 30-45 minutes of when you order. Last time we sat down I dont think drinks came out for 10-15 minutes when I was entertaining and food at least a half hour after. Id suggest saving your money and going to a profession operation like The Lakes or Medallion who actually cares about the member and the experience. In Event Source, I can play with the table settings to my heart's content. Whenever I have cause to be in here, I literally look at the options and try to dream up events where I can employ my fantasies. Those are some pretty strong feelings about tablecloths, eh?! Tablecloths, napkins, flatware, china, serving pieces, chairs, tables, the list goes on and on. You'd be really surprised what you can rent for your event! And boy, do I. For our wedding, I liked the linens that came with the venue, but we punched up the tables by adding a different napkin and a table runner. For the more "VIP" tables we changed out the tablecloth and napkin, and added chargers. Doing the whole room would've been a little too spendy, but with Event Source, we could very effectively make our wedding look above-ordinary. I also used Event Source when I hosted Thanksgiving for 22 people at my house. I ordered all the china (I have some nice china, but man, who has 22 place settings?), which was super fun because of course I went with something I wouldn't have BOUGHT in that kind of quantity. Gold filigree for everyone! (Also, bread plates, gold handled flatware, gold rimmed water goblet and wine glass.) Napkins and tablecloths, too. A plate is, like, less than $2 to rent. Totally worth it. The best part -- didn't have to wash dishes! Yep, ES asks that you return them "dirty" (we rinsed at least). Same goes for linens. Just put 'em in the provided laundry bags. Do you know how long it would've taken me to launder and iron all those table linens?! It may have never gotten done. You can rent things in sets of 10 (some other items may have different quantities... Ask!). Think beyond the wedding. ES is a lifesaver (and a dreamscape) for other events as well! Customer service is top notch. Next time you're headed to ES, can I come?

I was just staying for the night and then moving on in the morning but it turns out that it was actually very nice. It was a handicapped accessible room so it had a shower that you could roll the wheelchair in which I didn't need. It was clean and it smelled good. The bed was very comfortable and they had pillows that were marked firm and soft. The firm ones are really firm and I had a neck ache until I discovered that I wasn't using the soft one which was much better for me. It was quiet there and I was able to rest and wake up in the morning ready to go. Masks and social distancing were enforced so I felt safe. As I left in the morning I couldn't really find the breakfast that was being offered but then someone who work there showed me that it was a little bag that you could take with a goodie of fruit and granola bar and muffin and water which was just perfect. Nice place to spend some time.

The option to book online said nothing about a deposit and it said I could pay at the property. Two days before my stay, I received an email stating my hotel reservation had been canceled. I called not even 1 minute after reading the email and spoke to a gentleman who said our deposit had not been received and now the rooms are sold out. I asked if there were any other rooms and he said he could rebook me to a two queen room. He never told me there was a price difference, so I assumed there wasn't one. I asked "can I pay for this upfront or add a deposit?" And he said I'm good to go and can pay when I arrive. The very next day, I received a second cancelation email. I called immediately. The general manager apparently answered the phone and as soon as I said my name, she cut me off from explaining the situation and began talking for 2 minutes about deposits and how the person I spoke to yesterday was new and didn't know how it works etc. I had to remind her how unprofessional it is to cut someone off when they're talking. She did apologize, but said, "there's nothing I can do." I asked, "are there no other rooms available?" Then she said there is a King suite available, but not at the same price. I said, "Maybe you can start there before you tell someone there's nothing you can do." I ultimately decided not to book here and it was a blessing because I noticed the gentleman from the day before ended up booking me for a room that was over $300 MORE than my original booking. I never received a notification from my credit card company that my card had been declined, which I typically receive when it does. I'm seeing a trend with the reviews and I am suspecting that they are purposely overbooking their rooms and THEN debiting people's credit cards for their stay or saying that they did but never actually did. The deposit language was not in the terms and conditions when I booked my room and it was not in my confirmation email. I even tried booking a room before writing this review and it says, "No deposit required" which is what it said on the day I booked my stay. Something super shady is happening at this hotel location. If you stayed through this entire review and need an alternative hotel, the Hampton Inn is two doors down and their staff was AMAZING! They provide free breakfast, their rooms are spacious and very clean, and their beds were so comfortable I wanted to buy the same one! Edit: I am editing this review based on the gaslighting response from the general manager. The room did not have a deposit required and I have a screenshot to prove that. If this happens to anyone else, I encourage you to do what I did and file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Hotels are upheld by law to the language in their booking policies AND advertisements. I would also like to note that their response is that a deposit is required 7 days in advance, but if this were true why was the booking canceled 2 days prior to my stay and not the week prior? I suspect that they are manually authorizing cards at their own discretion, rather than an official hotel policy, which requires disclosure to the consumer by law.
