Coming into the course, I was on some ole' Ohio back roads but it opened up once near the course. The front nine was loaded with trees left and right of the fairways so drivers had to stay low and roll. Not many straight up Par 4's, more dog legs of anything. The Par 3 on hole 7 had the only water on the front 9 so it's very dry. The back nine I would say it more difficult. More water on the Par 3 into a Par 5. More bunkers and more trees. You really don't need driver on majority Par 4's as you may be in trouble. 4-5-6 iron off the tee would work best. Overall, good course and solid gem in north western Columbus area.

She bosses you around and instantly makes your mood drop. Play is very slow even on a Monday non league night or morning. The course itself is decent, greens are nice but a lot of patchy spots in fairways and ruff. Half of the carts brakes even work! And being the home course of a major champion, I wonder why it isn't up to par. Mill Creek needs a big change and building an addition to add simulators instead of using that money to better the course just shows how all that they care about is money. I hope that one day mill creek changes it's ways and get rid of that old hag at the front desk!!

Not nice by any means, but golf is so overrated in Columbus and overly expensive in my opinion for the area. Amazing prices, awesome staff. Average maintenance of the course. Spread out, wide open. We play the front nine with no issues. Make the the turn for the back nine and there at least three groups in front of us. We call the Pro Shop and they tell us " yes there is an afternoon early league and we were supposed to start on the back nine! None of this information was told to us when we checked in. The twosome behind us were never told either. No apologies were said or offered. What a way to screw up your golf round. From what we have heard that is the norm at Oakhaven Golf Club. You better ask all the questions the next time you make a tee time at Oakhaven. All they want is your money!

I have never golfed and thought it would be really hard, but oh contrar- The staff are super helpful in setting you up and giving you pointers. I was told they were passing my information along to their senior manager for follow up. I never heard from them so I reached back out. It's been a week and I still have not heard from anyone from TopGolf. Their lack of follow up and communication only made matters worse. Pretty disappointed with my latest experience at Darby Creek. Usually play this course 4-5 times a…read moreyear, but I won't be back any time soon. I show up 25 min early for my round, only to find out there is a 45 min delay due to frost. Not ideal, but I understand that can happen this time of year. I buy some range balls and go to hit them thinking I have an hour plus before my tee time. Well about 40 minutes later I get called to the tee box and have to leave half a bucket of range balls and didn't get to putt... great communication. We then proceed to take two hours and fifty minutes to play the front 9 as they were just sending people off as fast as they could to make up for the frost delay. Waiting 10-15 minutes on every hole to tee off, sometimes having 3 groups on a single tee box. It was the most miserable golfing experience I've ever had. I came in at the turn to ask for my money back, as I didn't want to take another 3 hours to play nine holes, and we very likely wouldn't have finished before the sun went down anyway. Instead of being apologetic about how poorly handled the day was on their part, I was treated with rudeness and disrespect. I live almost an hour away from this course, so I was already pretty upset I drove all that way only to play 9 holes. I was then told that I couldn't have my money back for the holes we didn't play because "they don't do that here". Instead I was offered $27.50 in credit that was only good until "the end of the season". Considering the season is effectively over now, I was basically told to go kick rocks due to their ineptitude as a golf course. One of the most infuriating encounters I've ever had.

I didn't even know the name of it until recently after searching Google maps. Well, I was finally able to make it out for a round, and it might just be one of the best hidden gems in the state. You can book tee times online or in person. It's family owned and the staff is super friendly. They have a driving range and practice putting green. The course itself was in immaculate shape -- very well groomed. They have four sets of tees at 5300, 6000, 6600 and 7200 yards so it can play to just about any desirable length. They only have cart paths around the tee boxes and greens, which was pretty unique and enjoyable. Perhaps the best part was the price though, because my mid-week round with a cart only cost $35 for 18 holes. Talk about a bargain! The only minor downside is that the 9th hole doesn't finish directly at the clubhouse. The clubhouse is still in view at the turn, however it was far enough that I didn't want to slow down my playing partners by driving up there for a snack before playing the back nine. So make sure you pack enough to drink and something to snack on for the entire round. If you're like me and you've thought about playing this course because you see it on I-70, this is your sign to get out there and do it -- you won't be disappointed!

The selection is nice. They give you a variety of sports drinks soft drinks and water. And at my private golf course they normally give you water jugs at every couple holes but at this course they don't have any of those for that I will give them a 4.2 out of 5.
