What we love is their staff - they have hired really great people who care about the property and the people who stay here. This park is clean, sites are well-maintained, and a nice shop with essentials and gift items. Oh did I mention the ice cream? Oh yeah, love sitting by the community camp fire, eating ice cream, watching eagles and ospreys fly across the river, and meeting new people. Definitely a favorite.

I had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to Josh and the other wonderful staff that I met. The campground was clean with clearly marked trash areas, and signs posted to alert campers of bears and wildlife in the area. There were many signs posted leading to the KOA and welcoming guests once arriving at the KOA. I appreciate the map (even though I still got lost) and the information regarding the dirt road leading to the KOA. The cabin was just as pictured! There was a porch swing, a BBQ grill, in ground pit, and private parking. The wood cabin felt like something out of a dream. It was so lovely and rustic. I was surprised to see a lamp. I fully expected no electric but I was pleasantly surprised. The bathrooms weren't far from the cabin. They were clean with a shower, toilet and sink with a lockable door for privacy. Bring shower shoes! I arrived late and called in advance to find out the process for a late check-in, which Josh explained to me. As a first timer with KOA, the only thing that could be improved is letting customers know what to do if there's a late check-in. If I would have forgotten to call in advance, I would not have known how to check in and the campground was pitch black at night. Otherwise I had a wonderful stay. ALSO: Very close to the Yellowstone River. I saw some people on kayaks, rafts and fishing. So much fun!!!

My friends stayed this past weekend in one of the "deluxe" cabins...the supposedly clean cups…read moresmelled like sour milk...the fireplace was not working (it was in the 40s overnight) and when they called, they were told "it is on the list to be fixed," the table was sticky, there were not enough blankets and towels, not to mention pillows and the grill was without propane and no brush to clean it....it actually caught on fire!! And the smoke detector was not functioning. For as much as these cabins cost, one would think the basics would be covered. The literal only shining light was Josh, from the front desk, who, after hours, came to the rescue! Thank you Josh!! The location...AMAZING!! Would I go here again?!?! Not if the current management is still running the place and from what I heard, it IS new management....sad! And if management wants to talk, I am available to answer any questions

The bathrooms were clean every time we used them and the showers had great water pressure and temperature. While we were out hiking, it began to rain. The campers next to us seen that we had left our tent open and put our rain fly up for us. Amazing campers etiquette. The only thing missing for us was a campfire. The train noises were there but in the background and didn't wake us up at all. The person who checked us in was extremely hospitable. It is near town for all the amenities

In about 2 1/2 hours for the northeast gate of Yellowstone. I had about two hours from Bighorn national recreation area. Jason had some wonderful scenic driving routes that you could take besides the Bear tooth. chief Joseph scenic byway was incredible. The only downside was our first day there was Canadian wildfire smoke. But it cleared out for the next day and we had bluebird skies. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owner really cares about your wants and needs.

I was in a tight spot and stuck in Red lodge after a 750mile ride and I was lucky enough to get the last campsite. I explained the situation I was in over the phone. Without ever meeting me or me asking for help Rebecca went into full what I like to call (stubborn mom mode) She told me "go here" and would not take no for an answer when it came to helping, and Im like "yes ma'am!" Soon after Jason showed up like a marvel superhero in a side by side . He was so genuine and nice. Their generosity and kindness protrude awesomeness of the highest caliber. That being said the campsites and facilities are dope and the restrooms are clean. 10/10 definitely coming back.

I can't say enough about how incredible the food was. But also the service! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They start the meal with homemade donut holes, served hot and fresh! Then your main course... and if you're lucky you get a homemade biscuit with your choice of homemade jam. Then for Easter they ended the meal with cupcakes. The chicken fried steak was the best I've had... ever... hands down. My daughter got the country omelet (she usually sticks with eggs and bacon). She couldn't believe how good it was. So good in fact that when her brothers girlfriend accidentally took the wrong leftovers the next day we had a couple tears! Thank you!
