I salute the ownership for keeping greens fees low, (lowest in the Rochester area) maybe to a fault. There could be a few additional improvements that could be made, but it seems that steps continue to be taken. The pro shop and customer service is always friendly and happy to see you, and tee times are usually on time. I can't recommend Farview enough for the course, views, hospitality and value!

Some holes are short and some long for the par rating, fun, but a challenge for all golfers no matter what their handicap. Jim and Robert Ryan, the course professional, are a delight to talk to. I love the layout. It's challenging on some holes and open on other holes. They have nice elevation changes, so on top of the challenge, you have to really think about what club you want to hit. The 18th hole there is one of the tightest holes I've ever played, with little room for error, but it was fun. I recommend playing this course. The round is fairly priced too.

I wouldn't recommend walking this course as it felt at times we were driving a whole kilometer from one hole to the next, but this isn't necessarily a negative, just something to keep in mind. The golf course managers do an excellent job of spacing out tee times as we never felt like we were hitting into another group or had someone on our tails. I have no issues with the course itself, however I would not recommend bringing a new golfer here as there are many houses near the course and a novice golfer would very easily hit multiple houses/windows. All in all, I feel like it was a good experience to golf here and would rate the clubhouse/locker room as an A. Keep up the good work.

It's one of the tightest, toughest holes I've ever played. There's literally no room for error. I walked the course and I don't know if I could recommend walking lol. There's lots and lots of distance to cover to go from finishing a hole to the next tee box. Plus the course length plays relatively long. I was tired from walking by the end of the round but I really enjoyed playing there and would definitely play this course again!

The golf course is named winding creek for a reason and there are now more Kirkland golf balls in that creek than there were before I played 9 holes there. Regardless this is a golf course where all can come and not be judged, but also you might accidentally hit someone's home because there are a lot of homes near the course. I would recommend just hitting the ball to the green every time, then you won't have to worry about ruining someone's day. Buckle up, be safe, have fun, hit golf balls. That's the Winding Creek motto.

It's $5 to play per person for the disc golf course and you have the option of renting a cart for an additional fee, though we chose to skip it. The course itself is short with some wooded holes, so you only would need it for the short walk to hole #1 and back to the clubhouse. The course is mostly par 3's with a few 4's thrown in. We felt the design of the course could have taken more thought because you had to double-back across the hole you just played to get to the next hole's tee pads. But otherwise, the course was well maintained and marked. Worth the money to play with a decent mix of open holes and some wooded. We would stop in if we were in the area again.
