While visiting Monterey, CA, my friends suggested we do an electric bike tour of the area. This is their number 1 spot to go to for electric bikes when guests are in town. It was so easy to rent a bike on this Friday. A QR code is present at the check in area. You fill out the information and provide your credit card data. You then fill out a simple waiver before you get your bike. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. You select your helmet and the staff provides the bike based on your build. You can then get a phone holder or a saddle bag for additional storage,if needed. It's all included in the price. We chose the $55 for 4 hours of biking. (It's $10 extra per hour over the 4 hours.) We were then provided a quick tutorial of the bike process and its functions to allow for a smooth and carefree ride. It was all so easy! Off we went for nearly 4 hours of exploring the area. Amazing e-bike rental spot in a great location with really nice staff. Came here on our costal CA roadtrip and rented a few e-bikes for 4 hours. Shop is located in a quiet area. Plenty of street parking. Plenty of bikes. We got set up and ready to go quick. There are helmets if you don't bring your own and sacks on the bikes to carry your belongings. The staff gave us a map, answered some questions, and gave suggestions on where to go. We started with the 17 mile loop, which took a little over 2 hours. The scenery is absolutely stunning and there are plenty of spots to get off, take in the view, or spend some time on the beach. If you're gonna go into the sand I suggest wearing appropriate footwear. Water moccasins or Tevas. There isn't too much traffic along the trail so you're not constantly competing with cars. Stopped in the Pebble Beach pro shop to grab some souvenirs. There's plenty of things to see and you can either take your time or blast through it all. Overall fantastic shop. My girlfriend reserved two e-bikes for 4 hour rentals. When we showed up the bikes were ready, adjusted to our heights, and they had plenty of options for helmets and gloves. The space was so clean and organized. The customer service was excellent. Very friendly people. Their location was perfect for riding around 17 mile drive. We were able to cover from Lovers Point, all the way down to Pescadero Point, and back. So many great views and sights of the ocean, marine wildlife, and the coastline. The e-bikes worked so well. The electric assist came in handy when going uphill, and to start peddling from a stop. After our adventures we came backs they had a special. Leave a review on Yelp or post a picture on IG and get a shirt for $5. We did so and the employee was so nice that we got our shirts for free. My wife and I reserved a pair of e-bikes online from Big Sur Adventures nearby the Monterey Aquarium. When we arrive we were greeted by a very nice and friendly woman helped us get adjusted and showed us how to use the bikes. We rode one way out to Fishermen's Wharf and then back the other direction to 17 Mile Drive. All in all the bikes were great,.. the seat was very cushy, the bikes were clean, the pouch large enough to hold our lunch & water. The bikes are set up a little more upright than I'm used to, but since you don't have to pedal hard it didn't really matter. We had a few minor technical issues such as the throttle on my wife's bike didn't work, but she was fine with the pedal assist. On my bike the brakes were annoyingly loud, but they worked fine. Rented bikes from the 125 Ocean View Blvd. shop near the Monterey Bay aquarium. Very easy process. Bikes (regular) worked great. price reasonable and included helmets. This is a good starting location for a tour in the direction of Pacific Grove. Wish could have used the bikes for far longer, but had another appt. Parking is a challenge in the area so the Protip is to park early in a lot and rent a bike for 2-3 hours. Bring water or a water bottle. read more

We did the 17 mile drive bike tour and had an great time. Excellent choice for seeing Monterey and the 17 mile drive. We had a lovely tour guide that walked through how the bikes worked, kept tabs on everybody throughout the tour, offered to take photos at each stop for everyone, and provided great stories at each stopping point. The entire tour was about 5 hours, so have a decent breakfast so you aren't too hungry by the end (past lunchtime), if you opt for the morning option (better for weather). The tour included complimentary snacks (fruit gummies) and small bottles of water, gloves, and helmet. Each bike had plenty of room in the zippered bike bags for storing things, but you can also leave items at their shop. Be sure to arrive early to sign the waiver and get geared up so your tour can start on time! Also as a note, you definitely should know how to ride a bike before you do this tour, just because its an ebike with turbo assist doesn't mean it'll just ride itself! read more
