So much fun! Do the tour in the mini car and and have a blast and learn a lot about Pacific Grove and Monterey. The tall guy who checked us in was very polite and professional, and got us on our way. He even greeted us with a smile when we return and asked how it went. Highly recommended.

i've never done anything like this so it was definitely exhilarating!! skrtttt driving on the actual street down the pacific grove highway for the scenic view. felt like i was in mario kart. would do again and recommend to everyone visiting monterey bay

The GPS is a combination of turn-by-turn directions and a personal tour guide explaining local attractions.

We did a 2 hour rental and had a fabulous time exploring. Instructions were on point and the audio tour was informative. Check in and check out were easy. Def glad we did it in Monterey and could def see it would be a little intimating in a larger city.

Super fun little go cart to rent for a couple hours. Would recommend the 2 hour tour and driving up the coast. Car worked fine and the audio tour was decent. Fun random thing to do on a summer day- bring a jacket!

    Enjoyed our drive.

Really enjoyed renting the slingshot. The employee (Alex) was super helpful, friendly and provided a great experience for us. I highly recommend GoCar Tours!

When we got there Alex had a current customer walk back and say their car wouldn't turn back on. Alex politely asked us to wait outside so he could run help them get fixed up. He returned 10 minutes later and got us all situated. He gave us extra time because of the inconvenience. Super helpful and the overall experience was great. And the cars are super fun to drive and man are they easy to park.

We did the GoCar Tour in Monterey in June 2025 and had an amazing time! It was such a fun and unique way to explore the area. The customer service was incredible. The route was beautiful--full of scenic stops and coastal views. We were able to pull over at multiple spots to take pictures, enjoy the ocean breeze, and just take in the beauty of Monterey and Pacific Grove. The GPS-guided narration made the drive super easy to follow, and it felt like a mix of sightseeing and a little adventure. We had zero issues with the car or the route, and the whole process--from check-in to return--was smooth and well organized. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable, open-air way to see the coast. A perfect activity for couples or anyone who wants to do something a little different than the typical tour!

Always an amazing time, have done it twice!!! Got a group of 10+ cars together and ran around monterey and carmel. Will come back for years ahead.

Make sure your helmets are on the whole time you're in the car ;)

Instead, after waiting outside in the cold for a tour that would never happen, we just drove by the other areas as it was too late to enjoy anything. Our group of 40 brave souls set sail yesterday, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride! Picture this: the ocean was a bit like a roller coaster--waves crashing, boats rocking, and our group members discovering just how quickly they could become best friends with the sea. Quite a few of us found ourselves feeling a bit queasy, but hey, who knew that whale watching came with a side of "hold on to your lunch"? But here's the kicker: despite the rough waters, we saw more whales than I've ever seen on any whale watching excursion! It was like a scene out of a nature documentary--humpbacks breaching, flukes flipping, and us squealing with delight (and maybe a little nausea). Every wave brought a new adventure, and the sight of those magnificent creatures made it all worth it! The crew was absolutely fantastic! They were like walking encyclopedias of the ocean, ready to answer every question we threw at them, no matter how ridiculous. "Is that a whale or just a really enthusiastic dolphin?"--they handled it all with grace and humor. Their enthusiasm was contagious, making even the toughest waves feel like a minor inconvenience. So, if you're up for a thrilling adventure with the chance to see some magnificent whales (and maybe test your sea legs), Princess Monterey is your go-to! Just bring some ginger ale for the ride trust me on that one!
