Both Backbreaker and Mindbreaker are very challenging. It is tough but fun with undaunted fairways, elevated and undulated greens. And the greens are lightning fast, no joke! Hole #7 really test your patience. I was supposed to get on 3, turned into a 6, got on the green, rolled off, repeat. I am going to have nightmares about this hole for a long time, and still loving it. We happened to play Silver Lakes on the nicest day so we were hoping to play the short course after 18. Course not even grown in yet, sod and sand and GUR everywhere! Caddies are not knowledgeable or needed. You have to walk before 10am. Sloooow greens. Disappointed. The only reason for a minus one star is simply because all the water features weren't running and this isn't like some of the extreme courses that require you to hit the ball past major obstacles like windmills and things of that nature. Everyone in our group had a fun time. It takes about an hour and a half to go through the course. Recommendation, make sure to take some bug spray, we got our legs/ankles eaten up a little as we made our way through the course. Each course is unique and has a nice layout. The course is fun for all experience and skill levels! The course is maintained, however there are some problem areas and some greens are not in the based of shape at times. The staff is very welcoming and genuine! They also have a eating area that offers hot dogs and hamburgers!
