However, this location is absolutely perfect everyone, from novices (such as myself) all the way up to the most discerning cigar smokers. To start, the walk-in humidor is very large and is well-stocked with an exceptional variety of cigars at every price point. Sturman's carries a diverse selection from top luxury brands such as Padrón, Perdomo, Dunbarton, Oliva, Ashton, and SO much more. Additionally, Sturman's has a great selection of affordable cigars for those on a tight budget. I must stress that all the cigars here, from individual sticks to full boxes, are VERY well-priced. Outside of cigars, the shop also has a solid selection of premium pipe tobacco. Leaving the humidor, the shop carries a choice selection of cigar and pipe hardware as well as accessories including lighters, cutters, punches, humidifiers, luxury humidors, ashtrays, handcrafted pipes, and so much more. Just like their cigar selection, Sturman's catalogue of accessories is highly diverse, ranging from affordable (but high-quality) options all the way up to premium hardware brands such as Xikar. Trust me, for all of your cigar needs, Sturman's is the spot to choose. While not as large as the lounges at the Sturman's locations in Eagle or Garden City, the lounge at the downtown location is still excellent. The indoor seating area is very comfortable. The four, leather chairs are comfy and the indoor seating area is extremely quiet, well air-conditioned, and equipped with fans and air purifiers making the overall smoking experience very pleasurable and relaxing. No lingering smoke here! On top of that, there's an outdoor seating area at the entrance of the shop with several cushioned chairs and a large ashtray for those who'd prefer to be outside. Lastly, it would be crime not to mention the store's desk clerk and tobacconist, Lance. Lance is incredibly friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about cigars and hardware. I asked him what he would personally recommend for a medium to full body Maduro that wasn't too spicy or peppery. He immediately pointed me in the direction of the Leaf by Oscar Cigars, specifically in the 5 x 50 robusto size. This cigar was absolutely delectable and is most definitely my new favorite. Pairing this delicious cigar with the comfortable lounge made my time at Sturman's a delight! Lance was a lovely person to talk to while I was there and his enthusiastic dedication customer service elevated my already incredible experience. Whether you are looking for a quick stop for supplies or a welcoming place to relax and smoke a fine cigar, I can't recommend the Sturman's Smoke Shop in downtown Boise enough!

I have lost my wallet the night before and had no cards and very little cash. Trish, the assistant store manager offered me a little road cigar, but it was about $.85 above what cash I had on me. Trish could see that I was in an a jam. After counting out and change, what money I did have, including pennies nickels dimes and quarters, Trish simply comped the cigar and sent me on my way. Given the nature of our current society, and people carry it was, I was very touched by her generosity. Give this girl a raise, because I will be recommending this place to all my smoker buddies, Great great great customer service and I will definitely be advising of my smoker friends to visit with Luke Edgemon and with Colleen, will organize some of the most polite customer service!!
