Our weekly neighborhood pizza place! We usually do take out but they have a great little space inside or out to enjoy their amazing pizza. We've tried all the salads too and would recommend any of them! Our kids also love the chicken tenders, French fries, fettuccini Alfredo, wraps and wings! I have ordered several times from Big Slice Pizza and every order I place there are multiple items in the order thats not correct. I called tonight to try and figure out whats going on. The man who answered the phone was not polite and told me i should have ordered from a different website and not through yelp (Grubhub). He pretty much told me it was my fault for not ordering through their preferred website- chow chow? Which i know nothing about. How am I supposed to know what their preferred website is? If they don't like Grubhub and are not going to fill the orders correctly then they need to have a different ordering system. And they need nicer employees. read more

I love Big Slice! The only place I know of that has turkey pepperoni, since I'm allergic to pork. The crust is yummy and crisp and the dough flavorful. They add plenty of cheese and the turkey pepperoni is always crispy. The pizza never has a pool of grease on top! My hubby had their chicken parmigiana and it was very tasty and fresh. They ain't kidding when they say "Big Slices". Got a cheese and pepperoni slice and both were HUGE. Friendly staff. I will try their Big Slice Fries and wings next time. This pizza used to be one of my favorites. We live 2 miles outside the delivery range, so when we are visiting my Son in Fullerton it's been a family go to. Well I won't be ordering anytime in the future. I placed an order on-line through their website. Then a few minutes later we had more family and needed another pizza. I called and explained and ordered another. The person answering kept going on about how scattered he was. But assured me it was taken care of. Well we finally received 1 of the 4 items I ordered. I called and they had no other record of a order for me. But my credit card had been charged. They apologized and said they would deliver asap. And he would see if they could comp the single pizza. Finally our other 3 item's were delivered. My 3 topping pizza only had 2 toppings. I paid for 3. The phone person said he would get back to me on comp'ing the 1 pizza. Late that night, after 10, I received his call saying they could only do a 40% off coupon for my "next visit". Considering I have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon I am not impressed with their desire for customer satisfaction. It was more like a slap in the face. A company must be struggling if an owner ask a pizza driver to come back put your cold pizza in oven for a second time. Due to a driver not being able to find your address that the owner wrote down over the phone. And did not verify the correct spelling of the address. So driver is driving around for 15 minutes searching for an address that doesn't exist. But owner insisted the pizza would be hot. It sure was after entering the oven for a second time. When pizza arrives. Pizza was brown due to being baked a second time. No Thank you. Any business that has to cut corners that way. Will not get our business anymore. So I saw that this place was close to my normal slice spot when I get gas... So I decided to try something different than Costco pie for lunch. This place is right next to Fullerton College and thus the place was packed with a grip of students when I popped in about 1:30. Pro Tip: There is limited street parking here. They have a student deal which they provide to everyone just about it seems that is a slice and a 20 oz drink for $3.00. I had hoped to get just a slice but when I asked, I was not presented with that opportunity. The pizza itself was decent. It was a typical large cut into six slices. I got pepperoni and it was tasty, not super oily and fairly thin crust. The sauce was a bit different than what I am used to and it was enjoyable. Overall this place was decent but for a slice the size I received it was a bit high on the $$$ scale. The slice was smaller than Costco. Costco has an aycd fountain drink for $.50 so for $2.50 you get more pie for less$$. I like Costco a bit more as it has tons more cheese as well =) read more

Stopped here for brunch. 11:15-30ish. I asked the girl at the counter if they had pizza by the slice and she said peperoni or cheese and a drink for $3. Sounds good give me the pep. She told me it'd be a few min 'cuz they were just put in the oven. In less than 10 min I got my slice of pep. She had already brought the drink. So far so good. The slice was big, 1/4th of a 12"er. with a OK amount of pep slices, maybe 1 per every bite and a half. It was pretty oily and a little shy on the cheese for me. I soaked up some of the oil with a couple of napkins and took a bite. The sauce had a good flavor as did the cheese but it wasn't any better than Costco for 1/2 the price. The crust was thin and crisp... better than Costco. Good pizza for budget minded students, but still didn't rate too high on my pizza meter. Recommendation, Go across the street to Wopo's behind Angelo and Vincis, for a good pie. read more

When I saw the name Big Slice pop up on Yelp on a Saturday night, it looked so promising. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. The slices weren't very big at all, the pizza was sub-par and the cheese just slid off my girlfriend's slice the moment she picked it up. It was gross. The place was also run by teenagers who did not seem very into their jobs. We arrived late, a full hour before closing time, and the people working there seemed more concerned about cracking jokes amongst themselves and starting to close up the shop than taking care of the customers. This is a great local place for students to hang out. I have a long break at fullerton college and usually find myself there over the school's cafeteria. They have a slice and soda combo for about $3.25, which is a great deal. They also have drink specials as well, $2.50 any bottle beer is my personal favorite. If you love buffalo wings you MUST TRY their hot wings. The sauce they use is perfection. Their BBQ wings are yummy too. They have a huge menu so whatever you're in the mood for they probably have. I'm new to the Fullerton area and work from home. I was craving pizza for lunch, so I ordered for the first time today using Eat24. I chose the delivery time to be a specific time, and Big Slice was prompt! I ordered a pepperoni pizza with basil. I LOVE pizza with fresh basil. The pizza was a bit small, but very tasty. I like their crust: it's chewy. And today the leftover pizza was AMAZING. I also ordered mozzarella sticks. They were a bit on the salty side, but better than most places. I went to Big Slice for the wednesday night $1 beer. I should have eaten before coming here. The pizza was pretty nasty, and it took a really damn long time for me to get my food. I actually had to remind the lady working that I had ordered pizza, as she had been serving people who had ordered after me before I had gotten my food. My friend and I also had pretty savage stomach aches about an hour after we ate there. My dad and my brother had been their twice before to get slices and they said they had no slices both times. I would have more than likely given this place 2 stars if not for the incredibly awesome deal they had going. Student Special: a slice and a drink for $2. Kinda hard to beat something that cheap, even if the pizza was the very definition of mediocre. The crust was passable, though a tad too doughy for my taste - not enough crunch. The sauce was pretty 'meh'. It's akin to something I'd expect to buy on sale at Ralph's for home use. You know, the cheap stuff. The cheese could have been removed and molded like clay into tiny animal sculptures; it was like putty. But a little cheese/red pepper assisted in masking some of the blase flavoring. It's not the worst slice I've eaten (see my review for Naples Ristorante @ Downtown Disney for that), but I'd say it's just about worth the $2 I paid. So I've been inside big slice multiple times (I live in Fullerton) and their service has always been "just okay". Their food is "just okay". The place across the street has better desserts at a cheaper price. Big slice delivers, so on this night, I decided to order in. I looked on the website and there was an ad stating "be our fan on facebook and receive 30% off". I called and much to my dismay the girl taking my order stated there is no such offer. Someone called the other day stating the same and the manager said there is no offer. I asked to speak to the manager who conveniently was not in and the girl did not know when he would be. Visited this place yesterday since it's right next to my school and offers free WIFI. I ordered their special: slice of pizza, side salad, and drink for $5 and also an order of fries to share with my sister WHICH WERE DELICIOUS! the pizza slice was huge- the crust was my favorite but the pizza itself was pretty average, but even average pizza is amazing lol. i liked that they had an outside patio for smoking. the man working offered to turn on the heating lamps multiple times which was nice! i noticed they also had a pool table and TV which were covered since they weren't being used. the music was perfect for me too! they played stuff like The Doors and some bands off Burger Records like The Cosmonauts :) really enjoyed the vibe. definitely going back to study and maybe play some pool before/after class! This actually should be a 2.9 Had the the supreme large and to be quite honest i was disappointed. I had it for take-out so that might make a difference. when i entered inside, it seemed to be a nice spot in downtown fullerton. But the pizza? I expected a lot more than this. I have had pizza from NY, NJ, and PA. Those states know how to make pizzas. I even had deep dish from chicago. They are known for their pizza. But this place? it was just average. I don't know how else to describe it. It's great in California sense of pizza, and it's filling, etc. but i dont know how you can compare this to NY pizza. Just moved to the area and looking for a place that would deliver. First the good, the portions are ginormous. I had the chicken mushroom fettuccine and the chicken parm both were very good and had good flavor, The only suggestion I'd give them would be add more sauce on both they were a bit dry and I would have liked to use the garlic cheese bread to sop up any extra sauce but the problem was there wasn't even enough sauce for the pasta. Also they seemed a little under staffed and was put on hold and forgotten and had to call back. Update from my last review. Everyone I've dealt with either on the phone or delivery people are extremely polite and friendly, they seem very genuine. I ordered the chicken mushroom fettuccine again and they were more than happy to accommodate my request of more sauce. I also ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was very good, I can't say its the best I've had but I wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my friends to order from Big Slice. Great pizza place! Cheese was so good! We got pepper and pepperoni and the second one was pepperoni and ham. So delicious!

On any given Wednesday you can catch a slew of regulars at Big Slice due to dollar beer HH! It's a great spot to hang out, grab some cheap beer and the pizza is pretty tasty too. If I had one complaint about Big Slice it's that the pizza is a little pricey for my taste when right across the street there is Angelo's whos pizza is WAY better and roughly the same price. The outdoor patio can fill up quickly so if you're partial to sitting outside make sure you get there early on Wednesdays. I don't go there much outside of that so i can't vouch for any other day. As for parking if you can't grab anything on Harbor (which most can't) you can park in the parking lot for the burger joint or in the residental area next to the slice, I never have a problem finding parking around there. In my experience every visit to "The Slice" is always a pleasant one. read more

Decent priced, above average pizza. I usually just keep it simple with pepperoni (and maybe mushrooms). They also have convenient hours & they deliver to my home. If you're eating there, they usually have a cheap beer of the month option.
