I purchased a motorcycle from here about 4 weeks ago and I have to say I am not to pleased, the customer service was great but I took the bike home and the bike didn't want to start so had to go back to get a new battery then when i got it back they removed the tune from it so the bike wasn't running how it was supposed to, they then put a different tune on it after a couple days which is not the right tune for the bike and wants to die in 1st gear. After that it was the fuel sensor which they didn't fix for about two weeks. Then now it's the turn signals not working. Then they fix the turn signals and now they work out does not show when they are on from the turn signal indicators next to the speedometer so i cannot tell when they are on. I have not had the bike in my possession for more than 3 days at a time without having to bring it back in for something else. The service department workers are very helpful (Chris and Parker) I do not want this bike anymore so will be going in for a possible refund or trade in we'll see how it goes! Here's the update they suck I was talking to the owner and he was yelling at me, at first they told me they can get me into 4 different motorcycles and told me to decide then when we went to the owner he said he couldn't get me in any motorcycle which is ridiculous, they also said they would not give me a refund for the shitty bike that they sold me. Getting yelled at by the owner and him being rude is crazy i understand he's frustrated about the situation because that's money out of his pocket but the customer always wins ! not in this dealership though so stay away i promise you'll regret doing business here. read more

My original experience with big sky went fairly decent besides the fact that when I purchased my Harley, I had told the salesman that I was not able to see the speedometer but he reassured me up and down. that it wasn't going to be an issue. unfortunately, I bought it during the winter and wasn't able to take it on a test ride to find that out myself. Well, over the last few weeks I've had a few chances to take it out and ride and come to the conclusion that having the speedometer mounted in its location is absolutely useless and is not functional in anyway. while trying to get this issue resolved, I was giving nothing but hassle and playing ring around the Rosie just trying to talk to the manager I will personally never be going to this location again or purchasing anything from them and I would recommend the same for all! Ordered a windshield. Box arrived crushed and windshield had small scratches on it. They let me return it under warranty, but instead of a full refund, took 20% off the top and refunded me the remainder (was not made aware until the refund was processed), despite the damaged windshield. They now claim that they weren't really scratches, as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Instead of doing the right thing, they are forcing me to contact my bank to file a chargeback for the remaining amount I am rightfully due, and I will never do business with these people again. Looked online at Harley for a product that my wife and I needed for our ride in three weeks. Harley was out of it. So I did a quick google search and found that this dealership was advertising that they had one in stock. Great, i went ahead and ordered it. A day later I received an email from the dealership telling me they are out of stock and the product is on back order which wont even ship for another month. Obviously frustrated since they stated they had it in stock I asked for them to cancel the order and refund my payment. I went on to explain that it is very frustrating that they advertised that they had it in stock when they didn't actually have it on their shelves. Brian responded letting me know that they have no control over when Harley is out of stock of something. i explained I did not order this part from Harley but had in fact ordered it from Big Sky as advertised as in stock. See, apparently Big Sky procedure is to advertise they have something in stock, then once you pay for it they order it from Harley warehouse. That is not the same thing as having it "In stock" After a brief back and forth Brian caustically stated I would be better off ordering my parts from Harley and paying the full price. I helped Brian in understanding how that sounded to the customer. I advised him that it sounded as if he didn't want repeat customers who are not happy with their false advertising and would rather just send them down the road. Apparently, Brian believes instead of helping to improve a customer relationship it is better to insult them. What Brian didn't know at the time, which I very respectfully informed him of, is that I did not need a $20 discount. I reminded him that there are hundreds of Harley dealerships who offer discounts. What I needed was the product as advertised in stock. I then let Brian know that he has achieved his goal and I will not be a repeat customer but thanked him once again for canceling the order and refunding my payment. We will see how long it takes to refund the payments since it only took a couple seconds to take the payment. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone who values customer service or online orders. read more

It's been a couple years since buying my pre-owned HD motorcycle from Big Sky HD. Based on every experience I had interacting with their sales & service department during the course of the transaction, I was thoroughly impressed. Buying the motorcycle was a zero-BS process: the bike was sold to me at a fair price (that I believe was actually under-valued), they fixed a leaky drain plug washer (at no cost) and just made me feel like I was their most valued customer. (And I wasn't exactly spending a lot of money.) I remember the dealership as a classy organization with a laid-back, customer centric attitude. However, as I am now (currently) interacting with a different motorcycle dealership in Oregon, I REALLY appreciate Big Sky HD for being the outstanding dealership that they truly are. I miss them and how they treated me. ...and yes, I still own the bike I bought from Big Sky HD. It is one of the best motorcycle-decisions and vehicle buying experiences I have ever had. I wish the staff there could teach other dealerships how to operate properly. read more

Worst dealership ever. Lie Cheat and steal. You do not have to order from these people. You can change the dealership that receives credit for your purchase. I chose Yellowstone Harley in Bozeman. Don't let them fool you into using Copper Canyon Harley as they have the same owner. They were supposed to deliver my bike to me called them on the day of delivery and the salesman Jason was clueless had no Idea what I was talking. I asked for a owners manual because none of the sales staff had a clue how to operate the Boom Box software, was told Harley does not give out owners manuals anymore you have to download it I am surprised they didn't try to charge me for it. Called Yellowstone Harley they have them and said I should have gotten it from the Dealer. These people don't care about the customer, they think that the customer is there for them, and if you don't like it go somewhere else. When you spend 30,000.00 on a bike I would expect they would be truthful and a little more helpful. I rode into town from Las Vegas to see my friend and when I got here the ignition switch on my 2016 Street Glide fell off in my hand! It was not going back on and I was afraid that I would be stuck! I went to see the guys at Big Sky Harley in Great Falls and they actually came to the hotel where my bike was parked. They got it to the point where I could ride it to the shop and then they FIXED IT! It only took them 20 min. When I asked how much I owe them the response was "Nothing... have a great day!" Unbelievable!! They are so amazing! THANK YOU Great Falls Harley for saving my trip!!!! read more

Good prices, but frustration grew with lack of communication regarding back order items.

I shopped around and found they were a little cheaper their shipping was free, I ordered almost 400.00 of parts. It said was in stock and would be sent from whats house to the store 5-7 days and then 24-72 hours ship to me so about a week, well a week come and went no emails so I contacted them, their response well it's not on back order so that's good it should be to us anytime. 2 days later another email saying, wharehouse has my items but hasn't shipped yet, it would be another 5-7 days before it got to them and then another 2-3 days before was shipped to me so we are taking a total of 3 weeks to get my parts, they need to be upfront rather than blow smoke up customers rears about shipping. They want to blame the shipping,um no I get stuff from France and Indonesia in a week--stop using pandemic as an excuse for not doing what you say on your website, I WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN, the few dollars saved was not worth the headache and the lies. I had an appointment to put my bike in to Harley I had to cancel. Lesson here I should buy stuff from out the country because an American company can't fill orders that's their words not mine. BEWARE pay a bit more and order elsewhere. I attached their policy says most received in 7 days can take up to 14 well need to add another week to that. read more

I live out of State in Nevada and had followed up on a part sale through Big Sky Harley-Davidson. My online purchase order was shipped quickly and upon arrival I had an issue. I called and spoke with Bob Konya. As it turned out the part I ordered would not apply to my situation so they accepted the part in return. . Everything happened quickly and Bob sent the correct part for my bike. They even waived the small increase in price of the correct part. Even though there is a closer Harley dealership to me I will order through Big Sky Harley-Davidson for my future needs. read more
