They showed up incredibly late the day before my wedding and made it almost nearly impossible to communicate with anyone about arrival time. When they did arrive they had forgotten a table and only informed me at time of arrival that they would not be setting up chairs or tables because I did not pay the extra fee for that. The manager, Lucas, was unprofessional, impossible to get ahold of and did not seem to care what so ever about our disappointment with their service. They were a day late on pick up and again did not communicate effectively or timely and made us shift around our schedule to accommodate their inability to be on time. First time at Miss M's Tea Parlour with reservations booked in advance over the phone…read more The ambiance looks nice for a tea time, little atmosphere, with music in the background and even candlelight was turned on. I was offered pictures to be taken, we said yes, and even dresses/hats for us to dressed up, but we politely declined. The tea shop was vacant for us, so we enjoyed being there together for our little tea time. Even the lady was easy to talk to and her service was good, but we have our second thoughts about this tea shop. We didn't have scones with the cream, only sandwiches and desserts. At least the sandwiches were nice portions for the 2 of us. Other tea shops we have been to, comes in with scones and creams. Desserts were kind oh meh!. They felt like stored-bought desserts for a $35 p/person tea service. On the other hand, I enjoyed the strawberry cobbler, I never had before. You also have the option to try at least 3 different kind of teas, that is good to know for someone trying new teas experiences. But we have to wait a few times for the hot water to come in. In overall, I just wished to have scones with cream included, the desserts being made there and not stored-bought, and the hot water pitcher left in on our table instead of being served, so we can serve ourselves, instead of waiting. I think there is room for improvement, and the location is nice.
