We got that sorted and went to go pick up the order later...of course they sold out of burnt ends by then!! BUT these awesome people saved our order for us! I would give ten stars if I could, they saved us from a very tough week and lifted our spirits. David and staff, you guys are the best! And the food was great to boot. We will be back!!

The menu is a little different than what you might expect -- with frito pie, fries topped with more traditional toppings and a couple of different hot dogs, and even an elote as menu choices. From my limited sampling. the Carne Asada fries were good. The fries were hot and not-soggy and had enough toppings to ensure that every one of the fries had a bite of flavor. For me, this was a win. The tacos were also good, although the person I was with let me have only a small taste. Unfortunately, I don't come across this food truck often, and It appears I may need to stalk them so I can try some other things.

Fat Taco Food Truck to the rescue. What you won't do, is walk away from this one having to stop elsewhere to get more food. The portion size is generous and the food is good. I don't think it's good just because it gets me out of the house, either. It's all in the balance. The nachos, both with the pork and beef are filling and overloaded with toppings. Although the pork was slightly dry, the seasonings were still detectable. The shrimp tacos, with several decent size shrimp in each taco, also were done well. The shrimp were slightly overcooked; however, with the extra sauce and filling, it wasn't noticeable. It's tough getting everything exactly right when you can't eat it right away and that might well be why the meat on the nachos and the shrimp missed the mark. But on the tacos: They are hard to eat because the insides keep falling out -- they're that stuffed. Don't eat them in the car. The quesadillas? Oh wow. I can go on about these for a while, but just know that they will always be my go-to from this truck. Nice people, tasty food, consistently done.
