I had an event starting at 12 and they had an arrival time of 10am because I wanted them to be set up first and I had other vendors arriving later that had to set up other areas around them. Additionally, I got the white soft play setup, as well as tables and chairs, and it was clear the items were not cleaned in a long time. I definitely expected better. For transparency, I complained directly to the company and got a $50 discount - but honestly I didn't feel like that was enough.

I attended a birthday party at Kidcreate this weekend. The studio itself is really nice very cute…read moreand well laid out but the experience was honestly disappointing. The teacher running the activity had very low energy and didn't seem very engaged with the kids. At most birthday parties I've been to, the instructors are upbeat, encouraging, smiling, and clearly excited to be there. That just wasn't the case here. The kids seemed fine, but as an adult, it was noticeable. What really pushed me to write this review was how the end of the party was handled. The owner/teacher told the birthday child's mom ...in front of guests...that the party time was over and that the kids needed to take their food to go because she had only paid for a set amount of time. You could tell the mom was embarrassed and trying to keep it low-key, but it felt unnecessary and unprofessional to handle it that way during a child's birthday party. If you're looking for a warm, friendly environment with some flexibility and good customer service, this isn't it. I won't be returning.

One of the biggest things my husband and I wanted for our wedding was to have a good time and party the entire reception and that's exactly what we got. Kyle did amazing - we gave him an idea of the vibe we wanted and a couple of song suggestions and he took that and went above and beyond. We gave him complete control to pick the music for cocktail hour and dinner and it was awesome. I could feel the fun energy during cocktail hour, even though I was getting pictures taken in another location. Hiring Mixing Maryland was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were not only amazing at what they do, but they were wonderful to work with. They even helped me figure out some timeline logistics with my coordinator because we wanted everything to flow smoothly and have maximum time on the dancefloor. I'm also a COVID bride and we had to reschedule my wedding from October 2020. They were extremely flexible and communicative during that time and we worked together to find a new date that worked for my vendors. They made everything super easy. If you want a good time at your wedding or party - hire Mixing Maryland. You will not be disappointed!!
