I hired DMV Bounce for my 40th birthday event, and all aspects went smoothly---from the initial phone and text convos on all logistics and details and contract signing, to text and communication in the weeks leading up to the event, to the event itself. I had concessions (snow cones, popcorn, and cotton candy), blow-up carnival-style games, and a dunk tank, which was a humongous hit with adults and kids alike. DMV Bounce truly amplified the entertainment value at the event and made the day incredibly special and memorable, with guests raving about how much they enjoyed it! Setup and takedown were a cinch, and Rick was a fantastic entertainer and a great sport about being the person to dunk! An overall great company; don't hesitate to hire them. I am already looking into fitting them into next year's schedule. So impressed and delighted! And a final point: I looked into a couple different companies. There was a language and communication barrier with the others in the area (among other issues). All businesses are not alike, and DMV Bounce is by far the easiest to work with, had fair pricing, and communication was excellent.

My original…read moreface painter canceled on me just two hours before my son's birthday party on a Sunday, leaving me in a panic. I quickly opened Yelp and found Enchanted Wonders. The phone rang twice, and Will answered. He was calm, professional, and immediately put me at ease. He placed me on a brief hold, and within moments, he confirmed that Amber was available to help us. I was so relieved! Amber arrived on time and was absolutely wonderful. She is dynamic, talented, and has such a warm demeanor. She created beautiful face paintings for all the kids and even some of the adults! Her skill and patience with each design made the day extra special for everyone. Thanks to Amber and Will, a day that started with stress turned into a fantastic experience. I'm looking forward to hiring Enchanted Wonders again next year--but next time, I'll be giving them more than two hours' notice! Thank you again, Amber and Will, for saving the day!

We'll definitely be renting from DMV Bounce again. The entire booking, setup, and teardown process was smooth and professional. I booked online and appreciated the update emails as the date approached to confirm they still had the correct details and when they would auto-deduct the remaining costs after making an initial deposit at time of booking. They crew arrived before the designated start time, and set everything up in less than 10 minutes. They were just as quick and professional when they came to remove the castle at the end of the night. Very enjoyable and smooth process throughout! I highly recommend them!

The five stars (6 if there was such a thing) is for the customer service that I received. About 2 weeks before the event, I scoured Yelp to find a bouncy house for a bunch of three year olds. I sent Krazy Bounce a message through yelp. That filling Monday, I got a prompt call back. Long story short- we went back and forth on whether we wanted to get it and finally decide to splurge. The price was reasonable as they come set everything up and then also tear it all down. We didn't have to pick it up or attempt to finagle it together. So the day before the party, the weather literally said 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms. I reluctantly called Krazy Bounce to cancel and was prepared to pay a portion of the reservation for cancelling so late. But the guy I was speaking with said it was no problem and they wanted the kids to be safe and there was no fee for cancelling and to keep them in mind if we ever needed their services. Ok.. what?! In this area, that type of service is never available! I was so grateful for them to work with us that I want to just have them come out during the summer for my two kids and the family to have some fun! If you're looking for honest, hardworking, fair people, this is the place for it!! Thank you Krazy Bounce for re-instilling that humanity still exists in the DC area!

For transparency, I complained directly to the company and got a $50 discount - but honestly I didn't feel like that was enough.

I tested the one unit at home before the event and it worked. I knew enough of how to connect cables from one unit to the other as directed with a sticker on the back of the speakers. At the party I could only get one of the two speakers to work - I could not get the second speaker to connect to the first one. I had a reunion party to get moving and could not spend all night hoping to get the second unit working or deal with hoping someone in the company would call me. Zoe Rentals should have provided directions and tested the units with me when I was at the store asking for help to ensure the units worked versus no help at all. When I did speak to someone, she had no clue what the problem was and said someone at the store could have helped - WRONG! No one was there to help. Very disappointed. Stick to chairs and tables.
