Very creamy and delicious! I had banana cream pie - it had vanilla wafer type crumbles and marshmallow. It had a non-fake banana flavor and was very refreshing on a hot day. My mom had cherry oblivion with chunks of cherries and chocolate. She really liked it as well. It's in an outdoor mall across from the Harley Davidson building and next to a pub called saints and sinners. We had large cups and they were $3.50 each. Stopped to get kids ice cream open signs on bell in front of windows, rang bell and waited over 15 min no one ever came walked to the shops next store to see if they knew where the person was and they came looked knocked said maybe in the bathroom (for over 20 min?) waste of time. I was jonesing for some ice cream and we stumbled across this place while driving north from Orlando to Jacksonville. It's tucked away in a strip mall just off the exit ramp but worth the effort to find it. Big is certainly the operative descriptor here. The small cone is two huge scoops. We upgraded to the waffle cone which was totally worth it. And the flavors... OMG. So many to choose from and they all have huge chunks of add-ins like fruit and chocolate. The only drawback was the lack of napkins (needed way more than we were given) and seating is only outside. Considering the speed at which ice cream melts in the hot Florida sun, I wish there was a fountain or spigot where we could wash our hands. This was such a minor problem, though, that it doesn't reduce the rating. Bring your appetite and some wipes. read more

Owner is friendly for a jersey guy and the hot dogs and shakes are great. Plus there's some nice cars to improve the already great view that hang around. A little pricier than I'd expect, but it was fast and good, great stop for truckers from loves, too. Got the chocolate shake, 20oz, not too sweet, was perfect temperature, and the consistency was nice. Hot dogs come with mustard, ketchup, and relish. Next time I'll ago for lighter relish, but it didn't cover up the flavor of the hot dog at all, in fact, it was still an above average dog. I can't vouch for when it gets busy, song as its only one guy, but seeing in showed me a clean operation. Couldn't see a single thing out of place. Hot dogs come with chips, flavors are bbq, nacho doritos, or plain. Not much to say there, but the flavors all seem to work with the hot dogs. Overall, worth the walk. I was knocking around Destination Daytona when I saw Big Scoop. It was amazing. I had a no sugar added ice cream that tasted great. I also talked to Mike, and he is 1 funny dude. This is probably the worst customer service I've ever received. The ice cream is extremely overpriced and the quality is poor. Inconsistent sizes and sour taste. The woman scooping was incredibly rude and appeared to not have time for us. She looked dirty. Her stomach was hanging out from under her crop top and she had very unkept fingernails. A man appeared from the back and asked me to move from the outside seating while I was eating the overpriced ice cream and proceeded to sit and light up a Virginia slim. I asked him if he was the owner of the run down rat trap, to which he replied yes. I told him good and I would never return. read more

First time visit for the kids and I. We were staying at the Super 8 across the street, and decided to go out for some ice cream. We drove across the street, got into the parking lot and couldn't find it right away. We took a few minutes to drive around with Google Maps running to try and find this place with no success. So I called them, and what happened next is something you'd have to hear to believe! When the proprietor answered, I asked where he was located. Told him my family and I were from out of town, and couldn't see it. He was like, "Yeah." I told him we were behind the Houligan's Sports Bar & Grill, and asked where he was in relation to that. He said, "Yeah." I looked at my kids with a face that said "Seriously?!" He then asked me how many kids I had. Now I was starting to get irritated, and I almost said to him, "Why do you need to know how many kids I have and what difference does that make?" Instead, I told him that I was a potential customer simply looking for a place to buy ice cream for my children. Then he called me.... Eric! I'm thinking to myself, "Who the hell is Eric?!" I then told him, my name isn't Eric. Of course I don't tell him my real name because this conversation was taking quite the disturbing turn, and I was getting ready to tell this guy to forget it, and tell my kids we would have to go somewhere else, when he told me that I sounded like his son Eric! After this misunderstanding was clarified, my eldest son saw the ice cream restaurant. We parked, stepped up to the ice cream counter, and before we could identify ourselves, he asked if I was the one he spoke to, and I confirmed that I was. That's when he told me that his son like to call from time to time playing practical jokes on his dad by pretending to be random customers ordering this or that. Not very smart on Eric's part! Eric didn't seem to realize that this kind of behavior can drive away potential customers! But the ice cream made up for this misunderstanding. My eldest had cookies & cream on a cone, my daughter had chocolate ice cream in a cup, my youngest had a vanilla milk shake, and I was going to have the same thing as my eldest, but I saw this flavor, that I just had to try. Cherry Oblivion! It was black cherry ice cream, with black cherries and chocolate chips. It was heaven in a cup! Man I was so glad to try something different. I remember I used to have that when I was a kid. It was exactly like I remember minus the chocolate chips, that was a beautiful additional memory! :) read more

We were there Wednesday afternoon during bike week the service was inadequate and the older gentleman, I use that term loosely was totally rude. We ordered three nine dollar shakes, brownie, peanut butter and orange, and a three dollar sweet tea and charged 32 dollars and no receipt.The one kid had to keep looking at the order to make the shakes and looked stoned, he cold barely function. When we got our order, the orange was ok but the other two were lacking taste and were so runny it didn't qualify to be a shake but more like thick milk with ice chunks. The tea was spoiled point blank, even though they wanted to argue that it was freshly made. I have run shoney restaurants before and know when the sweet tea is spoiled. It very well may have been freshly made but stored in an unclean container. It was rancid. Upon taking the brownie and peanut butter shake and the tea back, the older skinny man gave us a rash of guff for complaining. He even went as far as coming outside to stare us down and throw the products in the OUTSIDE trash as an act of intimidation. This was all intentional, as if you don't have a trash can and sinks inside. I would never recommend anyone to frequent your establishment. The service and food was well below subpar. Remember, 32 dollars for 3 16 oz shakes and one 16 oz tea. Del's on US1 in Melbourne beats this place hands down and the same order was ten dollars and the service was pleasant. read more
