Putting that aside, it's a perfectly fine Baskin Robbins. Service is quick, easy. Ice cream is good, but I've always wondered why with how many flavors they have, why not have a vanilla? Strange. Atmosphere is fine for the most part. There is a pair of naked elderly women who usually stand outside, though. Love BASKIN Robbin's. I love that they offer. Dairy free option. It's only one but it's generally good. Unfortunately, the last two times I've called they haven't had it in stock so that is a bummer. Walked here after dinner and upon entering we were greeted by a friendly face and a warm hello. People were standing around wide eyed as they looked at the expanse of treats. The girl behind the counter was asking for people and moved down the line well paced. She gave my son two tastes and he then decided on a Oreo waffle cone. I was impressed with her patience and ability to serve that although we are just visiting, if we ever return to Daytona, and are in the mood, this place will have our business again. read more

There was no one in the shop but the tables were dirty. Guy worker was very friendly and fast. I asked for no peanuts and he made sure to ask if it was because I didn't like them or because I had an allergy. Girl worker was just replacing ice cream but she has AirPods in and didn't glance up at us at all, was occasionally on her phone. Took a quick walk across the street while staying at ocean walk to this Baskin Robbins and it was such a pleasant visit. Let me start by saying the store was so very clean inside and out . They lady Beijing the counter greeted my husband myself and our kids with a nice hello and welcome followed by a smile . The prices are very reasonable and especially since it's located and so easily accessed from the popular boardwalk and beach . The lady was very patient as my kids CAREFULLY picked which of the 31 flavors they would like. She answered questions for them politely. I had the chocolate chip in a waffle cone and it was delicious. My kids had no complaints either and the price made it that much better for this mom ! We each got one scoop (5 of us ) in a waffle cone and it was all under 25.00 . I literally spent 47.00 the day before at cold stone. Another plus to this establishment was there is seating inside and outside!! That's was a huge plus for this traveling family . I was actually quite impressed with this location, and regret not keeping the receipt or taking note of the young woman who helped us with our ice cream. The store, when we walked in appeared to be impeccably clean, and the air conditioning was a nice retreat from the hot summer sun. There are outdoor seating areas to enjoy your treats, and it's located on a main strip near other amenities and restaurants. The beverage coolers were fronted and faced nicely, and the selection of take home pints and ice cream cakes appeared ample as well. Our ice cream treats were put together quite beautifully instead of just being all slopped into a container like I've experienced in other ice cream shops. The young lady was also aware enough to ask of any nut allergies prior to putting them on any of our ice cream, which was a little bonus coming from a fellow food service person. I haven't been to a Baskin Robbins since I was a kid, but found myself at the Hilton and wanting dessert, and wound up here. I didn't really want ice cream, so I was a bit reluctant. The girl working there was friendly and patient and helpful....it really felt like a Chick Fil A kind of experience. I got a chocolate dipped waffle cone with two scoops of the most amazing ice cream...it was heaven. Back in the hotel room I was making the most annoying satisfied noises as I ate it. Anyway, I may not have written this review at all but I tried to go to my local Baskin Robbins in Sanford and it was dirty, many of the flavors weren't labeled and the two kids working there had no idea what flavors they were. My son got a sundae and they forgot to put on any toppings. The ice cream had chunks of ice in it. It was bizarre. I will be willing to bet that I will actually drive to Daytona Beach later this month just to go back to the Baskin Robbins. Good job guys. Please tell Sanford to get its act together.
