I turned around less than a year later to purchase a whole new set of kitchen appliances. They delivered so unprofessionally , by damaging my brand new walls I just painted . They suck and over priced will never do business again ith them again . 10K I spend with them . dont take the risk by signing the damage waiver because they will find a way to screw you over . I've been to Big Sandy's a few times and have nothing but good experiences with them. Yesterday I went to buy a recliner for my father who is having back and knee surgery on short notice. I dealt with Rick and was not only able to get what I needed in a timely manner but he showed me options I didn't know where available. Big Sandy in Marion Ohio is SHIT On Monday April 17th, 2023 I went into big Sandy looking for a refrigerator. My wife and I found one we like it was a floor model marked $1,547 it was new out of box with NO SCRATCHES OR DENTS! I talked them down to $1,400 which then made my total $1,501.50 out the door with delivery. They told me I would get my fridge on Thursday which we assumed was that coming Thursday because they didn't specify. we'll Wednesday rolls around and we didn't receive a call as to the time they were delivering the fridge so we called and asked them and they told us over the phone our fridge then wouldn't be delivered until Thursday April 27th. I then proceeded to explain how upset I was so they squeezed us in for today Saturday 22nd 2023. when they arrived the fridge was beat up on both sides I called the store then I asked them what we are going to do because I now have NO REFRIGERATOR to keep my food cold. They then told me there's nothing they can do about my food and that I had two options. Option 1. Get a store credit of $1,400 an go back into Big Sandy and pick out another refrigerator and we would have to pay the difference or option 2. Schedule a date for that same beat up refrigerator to get delivered on a different day. We paid for a refrigerator with no dents and somehow that's our fault. Ding and dent is different then a floor model refrigerator. Big Sandy is deceiving as fuck and I hope NO one falls for their bullshit like I did. I spoke with three different people and got no where they told me to call corporate office on Monday. Just absolutely ridiculous. As you can see on the paper there's no dings or dents listed because when we looked at the refrigerator there wasn't any dents. We were in need of at least a new refrigerator, as ours was on its last legs. We opted to purchase all new appliances because our 18 year old set was white and falling apart, and we wanted black stainless. We found exactly what we needed IN STOCK!! Dustin, our salesman, was so helpful and efficient. We were in on a Tuesday and were able to get everything delivered on Friday. Our current dishwasher used a fitting on the water line that didn't work, so they left the dishwasher and had us call when that was remedied. (not their fault at all). My husband fixed the line the following Monday and they were back out on Thursday to do a flawless install. I also LOVE the delivery not that let's you follow your driver so you know when they will arrive. It's SO much better than having to sit around all day and wait and wonder! This was our first experience with Big Sandy, and we will definitely shop here again. The best part is being able to shop in our own hometown and not have to drive an hour away! we just got family new beds and had a great experience from start to finish. James is a great and knowledgeable salesman helping us pick the right bed for us and how the both of us sleep. we have both had multiple back surgeries and was the first time she has been able to lay flat in over 10 years and almost fell asleep in the show room and putting together a very affordable deal for all three beds. Jose and his crew did an excellent job with the delivery and setup great communication on delivery time. I had the best sleep ever and she had the worst ever because she kept waking up not knowing where She was because the new bed is so nice and she can't believe it. we will definitely return for the rest of our home furnishings. read more

Don't count on timely repair service if something goes wrong with your new dishwasher. Save a few vacation days from work so the repair service can come out to tell you they don't have the part. Use another day to be there when they come back with the wrong part, then plan one more day for them to hopefully come back with the correct part. Big Sandy is a big nightmare read more

Have to give them 1 star otherwise you are unable to comment how shady and dishonest they are. We bought furniture on Febuary 6th paid in full cash. Plus they scam you out of an extra 349. Fee for delivery and insurance. Promise,guarantee delivery by the 3rd week of February. Recieved one chair and Jones of the couches. Called in on Febuary 19th,there was an issue with couch (just an issue) and I would have them the following weekend. Well you can question. No furniture no call from them nothing. Called back the first of March given another excuse. (I promise and guarantee you will have them by the end of the week) ok NOTHING! So call back again and am told I will definitely know something by Monday the 15th. Yep you quessed it another big NOTHING! So I call back today March 17th am told they have one couch they can deliver but the second couch is going to cost me another 100 dollar in delivery fee when they have it. Um I paid you 349 plus tax for delivery fees and insurance why do I have to pay more? Well I promise and guarantee you will have them by the 29th of the month. WHAT MONTH?
