I had the third party delivery man take it back to the store and I called the store. They said that they didn't have another one of the couches that I wanted, but the Morris Road store had more of them and have one delivered today. Needless to say I gave them all day to deliver it and it never showed up. I called the store and they said, oh sorry our driver didn't show up so none of our deliveries were made. Do not count on any good customer service from this company. The fact that the original couch wasn't looked at before loading or it was and it was delivered any how. They are not going to keep you in the loop on changes in delivery either. Absolute lack of customer service over two days from two different branches of the same store. If you choose these stores good luck!

But I've delt with several locations over the passed four days since I purchased the thing. Delaware didn't have it in stock fine. So they had it sent from the Columbus store (I live in Marion) so I had to pay a few more bucks for delivery. Not ideal but also fine. Delivery was scheduled for Tues. (Yesterday) So I waited all day for the delivery with not so much as a phone call. We called them to find out what happened and their driver just decided not to show up to do it. And they never bothered to call us. Rescheduled for the next day (today) SAME SONG DIFFERENT VERSE!!! another whole day wasted because these losers can't staff their business or be bothered to call an inconvenienced payed customer. THEN another branch finally calls me and tells me all of this and has the F@cking audacity to tell me to pay some shady cash only delivery guy out of my pocket. I should have been offered a refund on the delivery fee and maybe even a bit off the order after this bullshit not asked to shell out more money. F#ck American Freight

We were finally told that the cabinet/furniture was all in and delivery was scheduled. When the furniture arrived at our house the curio cabinet was filthy, scratched, the electrical cord was missing and it was not completed (the finish was missing from areas). We stopped in the store and was met with pretentiousness and excuses instead of an apology from two of the ladies working there. We were told to email pictures to the store, which we did. A couple days later a delivery truck randomly show up at our house to remove the cabinet. Still no communication from the store... AT ALL. After calling the store twice, I was able to speak to the owner who apologized for the cabinet's condition and offered to refund the price of the cabinet and the delivery charge. The owner was pleasant but blamed the cabinet maker for the condition. He took no responsibility for the the lack of communication, the five months we waited, the pretentiousness of his female staff or the fact that his store sent that piece to our home in that condition. Extremely disappointing experience. We will not shop with there again.

Then most important the chairs were just poorly assembled. Most of the screws in every chair were not tight at all, some of the screws had the heads so mangled they can't be tightened. Clearly they only used power tools, and they just didn't care when they assembled them What really pissed me off was they were working on the dining room. They left their Milwaukee screw gun (that they mangled the heads with) on our new white sofa in the front room . You read that correct. They weren't even working in that room. Why would you set your tools on my new white sofa I haven't even sat on yet? I guess the anemic response from the manager was the worst part. I paid them good money to deliver and assemble. They did worse than not assemble, they damaged the heads. If you don't look elsewhere, prepare yourself to assemble yourself. Note to Haverty's -a small power screwdriver to spin them on is fine. Final tight should be with a manual allen wrench.
