Great experience getting a couch here! Came in last week to purchase a couch for our extra room, and it was extremely smooth. Our salesman Lamont was professional, showed us exactly what we were looking for, and was very clear with pricing and inventory. I think the whole time we were there was under an hour. We ordered the couch on a Monday and the couch was delivered on Thursday of that week. The delivery men were also very professional and were able to install the couch exactly where we wanted it. Purchased a new Beautyrest Black hybrid (medium) mattress from Big Sandy at the Polaris Ohio location in February 2026. The delivery was an issue but I decided not to review that since it was the contractors fault and Big Sandy made it right. Back to the mattress...after 70+ days of sleeping on it, the mattress was just too hard and not softening up at all so we decided to go talk to the salesman. We went back into the store and decided to take them up on their option to exchange. We decided on another Beautyrest Black interspring (medium). We chose the one that was on the showroom floor that the salesman stated was a interspring medium which was definitely much softer than the hybrid and it had the support I was looking for. Big Sandy delivered the new mattress with no issues. After the delivery, I noticed that it did not have the softness or fluffiness as the one in the store but I thought I would give it some time. Unfortunately, this mattress is just as hard as the hybrid we originally had. Since this is our second one and they only allow for a one time switch, we are now stuck with a VERY expensive and hard mattress. I am not sure whether the salesman just didn't know the correct firmness of the mattress in the showroom or what the deal was but the one I received IS NOT the same as the one in the showroom. I'm not sure what my options are at this point but i am not excited about being stuck with a $5,000 mattress that nether one of us can sleep on without hurting the next morning. I have also not received so much as an email, text or phone call to ask how everything went with the exchange and my purchase and if I was satisfied. I would have thought the salesman or someone would have reached out but apparently they don't do that anymore even though it has happened with every purchase I have ever made there. I have shopped with Big Sandy for over 20 years with not much problem but this may be my last purchase with Big Sandy Superstore. I doubt anyone from the store will even reach out now since others that have given a low rating on Google reviews do not have any response from the store. I am beyond furious with Big Sandy's and their so-called management team. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. In April, my husband and I spent over $4,000 on a sectional. We were told one recliner piece was on backorder, which was understandable. It arrived early, but when the delivery crew showed up, they immediately started asking my husband what police department he worked for because of a flag on his truck. He's not a police officer, but that shouldn't matter--it was none of their business. Even worse, they spent their time in my home bashing law enforcement in front of my children instead of paying attention to the job they were there to do. Not surprisingly, they left without installing the sectional correctly. When I got home, I immediately noticed something was wrong. A service technician later confirmed that the delivery team had failed to install the legs on the backordered piece. We were first told the replacement legs would arrive in July. Then we were told September. So because of THEIR mistake, we're expected to live with an incomplete sectional for months after paying thousands of dollars. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of accountability from management. They promise callbacks and never follow through. They act like offering a gift card fixes everything. It doesn't. A gift card is not an acceptable solution when your employees made the mistake and a customer has spent over $4,000 on furniture that still isn't complete. And this isn't the first time. We've purchased appliances, furniture, and other items from Big Sandy's over the years, and it seems like every order has had an issue--damaged products, dents, scratches, or missing pieces. Every single time it's the same story: apologize, offer a gift card, and move on. I was hesitant to shop here again because of our past experiences, but after visiting multiple furniture stores, we loved this sectional and decided to give Big Sandy's another chance. That was clearly a mistake. At this point, I don't want another gift card. I expect Big Sandy's to take responsibility for their repeated failures and provide meaningful compensation for the inconvenience, delays, and months of not being able to fully use the product we paid for. A partial refund would be a much more appropriate resolution than another store credit that requires us to spend even more money there. The management team has been an absolute disappointment, their communication is poor, and their customer service has been unacceptable. Customers spending this kind of money deserve far better than broken promises, endless delays, and excuses. I sincerely hope someone at Big Sandy's sees this and finally does the right thing, because after this experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. read more

Awful service. First the sales women we talked to ignored our calls so we went online to buy. After we bought our sofa we tried to set a delivery time and were told thier systems were down. After a week of calls to the store, the website and corporate we still have not heard anything back. The have basically stole our money and told us they can't do anything about it. read more

Our Refrigerator has stopped working TWICE. We purchased the Extended Warranty "Thank the Lord". Your Repair Service is well below sub par. You have 1 Service Technician for our area, "Pickerington Ohio". We have been without a Refrigerator for 2 weeks this time. Your ONLY service technician called off sick today which was the day of our scheduled repair. How convenient. Funny NOW, they can schedule us for Monday, but when we first called no way in hell we could get any earlier service repair date. Coincidence? I think not. If this was once? Understandable things break, but TWICE? I ask what kind of junk is this? We purchased our whole kitchen appliances from you, we purchased 2 COMPLETE Living room sets. Upset? BEYOND UPSET. Purchased a floor model refrigerator on April 15, 2026, and it has not worked from day one. After reporting the issue immediately, I expected a return or replacement. Instead, I was routed through a service process that took nearly two weeks, including waiting for a technician, parts ordering, and a rescheduled repair because the parts were sent to the wrong location. During this time, I rearranged my schedule multiple times for appointments, only to still be left with a non-working refrigerator. After continued follow-up, I was finally offered a refund--but only if I return the unit myself or pay a pickup fee. This is not a case of a customer changing their mind. The product was defective from the start and never usable. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. A situation that should have been handled as a simple return turned into a prolonged and inconvenient process, with the burden placed on the customer to resolve an issue caused by a defective product. I would strongly encourage the company to review how situations like this are handled, particularly when a product is non-functional at the time of sale. read more

delievery was scheduled/rescheduled 3 times i ask for a Credit and they were kind enough to give me $150 back when delivery finally happened the Driver was very Rude never once had eye contact ,didnt say Hello or Goodbye or KMA since the rescheduled my delievery several times and i had drop off delievery ( i had help at first but then he went on vacation , so he couldnt help set up ) so i asked the Delievery Guys if they could plz unwrap the Furniture and i will figure out the rest , they did unwrap and set up but with a very bad attitude from the Driver , the other Guy was nice as he could be and felt really bad because they ripped my shelf on the Wall completely off the wall and broke a candle stick but the driver didnt care at all after set up the Driver just took his tools and left without even say goodbye i am appreciative for them setting it up , but no need to be soo dam Rude !! hope Gabriel will be nicer to other customers As for me ever buying anything from them again !! Our 12 year old refrigerator was about to fail so we went to Big Sandy at Polaris. Somchai was very knowledgeable and helpful and showed us all the models that would fit our kitchen. We ultimately purchased a 2.33 Cu Ft counter depth GE Cafe which had all the features we needed. We were very apprehensive about the delivery since a previous delivery years ago from another store had resulted in damage to our floor and entry way. However the delivery by Derric and Darl was smooth and reassuring. Our wooden floors were not harmed and the water was hooked up without incident. Not only was Jenny terrific, but the sale was amazing, and the delivery was seamless. I was assured by the manager and sales associate the furniture brand was reputable and well made. I paid over $5,000 for a recliner, couch, and loveseat. Replacement of another brand of washer/dryer was fulfilled and delivered; love the new set. Delivery was accurate and timely. 2nd selection was the right way to go. Value was as expected for front loads with pedestals. We've made multiple purchases from Big Sandy over the years and have always had a positive experience. Most recently, we purchased a full suite of kitchen appliances from them. We were still a few months out from needing them due to a kitchen renovation, but Big Sandy worked with us. They locked in our pricing at the time with a small down payment, and checked with us frequently on the status of our renovation. When it came time to schedule delivery, I called on a Friday and they were delivered the following Thursday, right on time. Delivery guys were friendly, they moved our old appliances out to our garage (even though it wasn't in their notes to do so), and I couldn't believe the speed and ease with which they were able to get our new appliances in the house (up a very difficult driveway I might add). Two years ago, we attempted buying a different suite of kitchen appliances from them. And while the range was in stock and promptly delivered, the other appliances were on backorder due to Covid and production delays. But our sales guy checked with us weekly to let us know the status. We ultimately canceled the other appliances, but that was no fault of Big Sandy. We did have a cosmetic issue with the delivered range, but they addressed it promptly and offered either a replacement or a reimbursement of some funds, which we accepted. Overall, extremely happy with our experiences with Big Sandy. Great service and really hard to beat their prices at the other big-box stores. read more

I moved to Columbus in 2021 during the pandemic. We built a new home here and did not like the cheap appliances offered by our builder. Therefore, I purchased my appliances from Big Sandy's. Within a year of owning the refrigerator, it started having problems. It was serviced three times. Then the dishwasher began having issues. When I tried to have it serviced, I was told that I purchased the dishwasher in 2019, and it was no longer under warranty, which told me I had bought an appliance that someone else had previously registered. Within two years, the oven started having issues. I purchased a new Samsung Bespoke oven less than a year ago, but it will not light now. Because of previous issues, I bought a 3-year extended warranty when I purchased the stove. I have scheduled service, but Big Sandy's has canceled twice. Big Sandy's has offered no apology or alternative for getting my oven repaired. I now have to wait another week for my oven to be repaired. I was a loyal Big Sandy customer, but I will never buy anything else from this company. Are you buying refurbished defective merchandise and selling it to your customers? By the way, it can't be the brand because the Fisher and Paykel dishwasher I purchased from them to replace the Samsung is having issues. Signed, Done! read more
