Highly recommend this place! It was wonderful to have a private one on one appointment with the owner Ben. He spent lots of time with us and we felt fully informed about all the selections in the warehouse. He even gave us quiet time with soothing music to really relax! Delivery was flawless. read more

I had been putting off buying a new mattress for longer than I should have simply because I dreaded dealing with mattress salesmen. I bought my previous mattress online 10 years ago because I didn't want to go to a store, it was cheap, and I needed it quickly. Huge mistake and non-refundable/returnable. I could feel the springs through it on day one, and I've just dealt with it ever since by putting foam toppers on top and trying to mask the problem. Fast forward to a few months ago when I was looking at yelp reviews for mattress places around town and stumbled upon CBUS Mattress. Everyone was leaving reviews saying "do not go anywhere else in Columbus for a mattress!" and I can see why now. Ben was absolutely amazing from day one. After making an appointment online (yes, it's appointment only and totally worth it because he spends an hour with you), I received a super nice text from him letting me know that I was welcome to hit him up with any questions prior to my appointment. The day of the appointment went very smoothly, and Ben is very welcoming and personable. He asked all the right questions to figure out the right mattress for me and my boyfriend and let us try various ones out before we committed. It was truly the best "salesman" experience I've ever had. And he even delivered it and took away my old mattress for free! This plush mattress we ended up purchasing is so comfortable. The first day or two was weird, only because I was so used to sleeping on a crappy foam topper, but now I'm getting some of the best sleep I've had in years. I cannot thank Ben enough, and I would recommend CBUS Mattress to anyone looking for better sleep and a great shopping experience! read more

Looking for a mattress? This is definitely where you want to go if efficiency, excellent advice, nice selection of mattresses, clean showroom, affordable prices, no added fees and white glove treatment are important. The private appointment makes it possible to walk in and immediately be welcomed and begin discussing what you are looking for. There are no distractions or feeling of being rushed while trying out the various mattress options. My appointment time was at 1 p.m and by 3:00 p.m. the next day the mattress was on the bed in my house. No surprises on delivery time. You receive text messages keeping you updated as to their anticipated arrival time . Ben, the owner, and his employee delivered the mattress. Both were professionally dressed and wore booties over their shoes to avoid tracking in any debris. They completed the delivery in less than 15 minutes. CBUS will deliver your used mattress to a charitable organization and dispose of any packing materials. All of this and delivery are complimentary. The white glove treatment became very evident when the box spring size (that I selected) was too high for the bed. Ben immediately volunteered to remove the box spring, take it back to the warehouse and bring another lower profile box spring. He returned within 25 minutes with a different box spring which was perfect. Now tell me what other business would go to this extreme for a customer? This is a hidden gem of a local business that is deserving of your consideration. read more

10/10 If you're reading this post then just go ahead and stop looking for a mattress anywhere else in Columbus because this is the place. This spot rules. I got an insanely comfortable queen size mattress today and I will likely sleep like an angel tonight knowing I got a sick deal. This dude Ben is the best. We showed up w/o an appointment and he darted back to the store. He took the time to demo every category of mattress. I've been shopping for a bed in person and online for 3 weeks and today I found the best queen mattress I've tested out in the price range I was hoping to stay in. Exactly what I was looking for and it's a major name brand so I don't have to wonder about long term quality or warranty. These aren't off brand outlet trash mattresses. It was instantly noticeable how much better these were than the other pillow tops I've been checking out around town all day at chain stores. Ben even delivered the bed right away and almost got to my place before we did. Icing on the cake is getting to support a small business and a local Columbus guy instead of a corporation. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. I am extremely happy with my new bed and the experience getting it. Could not be more jazzed right now. Be sure to make an appointment before you show up. read more

This was the best mattress buying experience I have ever had. They were so knowledgeable and did not put pressure on us to spend. They delivered our mattress next day. We've had the mattress for about 6 months and it's incredible quality. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!! read more

This is truly the only place anyone should go in Columbus to get a mattress. Incredibly knowledgeable staff, honest no nonsense sales, and reasonable prices for top of the line product. Ben is the best and will work with you to get you whatever you need. In the rare occasion theres an issue, he will take care of whatever it is with a smile. Its rare to have such an amazing experience buying something as integral and tricky as a mattress. This is your lucky day, skip the blind online buys and big box chain rip offs and let Ben help you rest easy for the next 5-10 years. read more

CBUS mattress is a small mattress warehouse that offers personalized consultations for choosing a mattress. Their selection is somewhat limited, but you'll find a respectable range of mattresses, with student friendly options starting from under $300 to over $1000. To buy from CBUS, you'll make a private appointment with Ben, the owner. He'll invite you to have a free beer or soda and walk you through your options based on your sleep style and budget, all without a hint of sales pressure. When I picked out a set I liked, he included sheets, delivery and a mattress protector at no charge by letting me take advantage of a sale that had past. Overall a good experience. read more

Having a busy schedule, I was not looking forward to shopping around for a new mattress but desperately needed one. Lo and behold, a phone call to Ben proved to make the whole process super easy. Even though I contacted him on his day off, Ben managed to make some other arrangements and meet me that same afternoon at the showroom. Within a few hours from my call, C*BUS delivered a brand-new cozy bed for me to sleep on that night. Hats off and pajamas ON! Anyway, I cannot guarantee that everyone will have this smooth of an experience, but based on this encounter, I think Ben is a great guy and C*BUS is an excellent small business to support. I will sleep with a smile on my face tonight. Thanks! read more

I was in need of a new mattress and I needed it very quickly. I figured this was going to make me the target for stores to hit my budget to the max and I would be left with a mattress I would replace in a years time anyways, but I had to have one. However CBUS Mattress blew me away with not only their quality products and service, but their prices make the other stores seem like crooks for what they charge! I got the privilege of working with Ben the owner and he not only helped me find the best mattress for the price I wanted to stay under but he was able to explain in great wonderful detail why the mattress was going to be of the highest quality and best fit for my needs. I did not leave just happy but very satisfied the mattress i got would be with me for the duration. CBUS Mattress and Ben made the whole process so easy, I will be back for all my future mattress needs. read more

There's a good reason why Ben has all 5 star reviews. This is the best customer service I have ever received. I literally just moved to Columbus from California, hadn't even been here a day, and needed a mattress that night. He helped me even though it was past closing and offered free same day delivery. He even threw in free sheets and a mattress protector! Even if he hadn't, his prices are so low that a nicer name brand mattress here with sheets and a protecter costs way less than a store brand "cheap" one at mattress firm. Ben also takes great care to find the perfect mattress for you. He's not there to upsell you on a fancier model like other salesmen. I have a guest room that will need a bed in the future and I can't imagine going to anyone else. I highly recommend him to anyone considering buying a bed. read more

Amazing service from start to finish. Ben and all of his employees are professional and friendly, and really flexible and supportive in getting your stuff set up. They even hauled away our old frame and mattress. Recommended without any reservations. read more

This place is just awesome from start to finish. As soon as my brother and I walked in we got offered a beer. I mean come on??? Then we tried out some beds and Joshua was very welcoming and thorough. We had our mattress delivered that same day. 10/10! read more

This was the best experience I've had shopping for a mattress! Ben, the owner, was very nice, experienced, knowledgeable, and patient. He took the time to really get to know me and my needs when comes to how I sleep. I got an exceptional deal on my mattress set! I got $100 off for being a Yelper. Plus, I got 2 pillows ($40 each), mattress protector ($50), and delivery for FREE! I saved about $275! He was so nice that he even gave my niece a free zip up jacket! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a mattress set! read more

Ben was awesome to work with! Besides a small shipping issue that was out of his control (that he compensated for), you could tell that his main goal was leaving the customer satisfied. When I first booked a consultation, I prepared myself for paying a lot more for a custom mattress... The Elvis Juice and LaCroix on arrival basically confirmed that. Not the case; his prices were actually in line with what you pay for those "box" mattresses online, but we were much more confident with our purchase! He threw in a bunch of extras (mattress protector, delivery, etc) and we really felt like we got our money's worth. Highly recommended! read more

Highly recommend CBUS Mattress - It was so nice to be able to try mattresses in a showroom with no other customers present and to have one on one service. The prices were very reasonable too which is always a bonus. Customer service, especially with the delivery, was great! It's nice to get a text saying exactly when they will be there to deliver. read more

I saw the reviews on Yelp and thought I would give this place a try and boy was I glad I did! Ben made the entire process as easy as possible. He has an extensive history in the mattress industry and is able to help find the perfect mattress for you. The best mattress buying experience I've had. I have told everyone I can that if they're in the market this is the place they should go, and I would happily go back again if I need another mattress. Overall fantastic! read more

This was by far my best experience buying a mattress. Got exactly what I needed at a great price. If you're in Columbus and in need of a new mattress I highly recommend you going to see Ben. Was even able to get really nice sheets and pillows at a discount with my purchase! read more

What a rare blend of remarkable customer service and price breaks that come from less overhead! CBUS only handles a few brands, all top quality. Ben, the owner, was knowledgeable and patient, even with my pessimistic elderly husband. My husband and I did a lot of research on split king adjustable beds and we booked a personal appointment to find out more. We tried them all out with no pressure from Ben and chose one. Ben ordered it and we planned for it to reside in his warehouse until we moved to our new home in two months. Now, here is where a five-star review gets 100 stars in my book: fast forward two weeks. I was in an accident and needed a hospital-type bed. I called Ben (on his day off) and his awesome delivery guy immediately delivered one half the bed (which works either as a twin or two together as king size) and set it up in my living room in about 15 minutes. He will deliver the other half when we move. I am so very grateful for this bed that allows me the mobility assistance I will need for a few weeks and I am extremely grateful for Ben and his delivery guy, Joshua, for their over-the-top care and service. I recommend this business from the bottom of my heart. read more

Happiness is a new super-comfortable mattress! I really appreciated the time and attention that Ben gave me after I made a mistake buying a mattress from an online vendor that left me tossing and turning and waking up with a full-blown backache every morning. His approach to the buying process is really laid back -he really wants the mattress and you to be the right fit. After trying three mattresses with a pillow he provided, I found the mattress that offered the best support. I was expecting to pay top dollar, considering the quality, but it was exactly the same price as that online retailer. Bonus! I told Ben that he's the "mattress whisperer" - you really should set up an appointment with him. I'm so glad I did! read more

This is one review that I gladly will do. This whole process was a pleasure. Ben personally takes time to make sure you have selected the right mattress for your needs. No rush,,no pressure. Perfection right down to a timely delivery. Thank you for an outstanding buying experience. read more

What a great experience! I was skeptical about making an appointment to look at mattresses, but the reviews were too good to ignore. I now wonder why everything isn't done this way. I basically sat around and chatted with Ben, the owner and a really smart but mellow guy, for a bit and then he helped me pick out a mattress which was exactly what I needed and at a price that was competitive with what I'd seen from other places online. Good price, no BS, and an enjoyable experience. When I set out to buy a mattress, I thought I was going to feel violated by the process, instead I literally feel like I made a friend. Highly recommend! read more

Let me just say that Ben was amazing! I had just moved to Columbus and needed a mattress right away. I stopped by without an appointment and Ben was very welcoming. He let me try different options and stayed around my budget without trying to up sell. He even threw in a free accessory, a discount on another, and free same day delivery. On top of all that, I paid less than half of what I was going to pay at Mattress Firm for the exact same things! Thank you Ben! read more

Nice personal service but don't go looking for any deals. Prices are similar to other mattress places and these are not well-known brands.

I made an appointment and it went great. The owner was very helpful and honest. I found a mattress that met my needs and next day delivery. Everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend going here to get a mattress!! read more

I was looking to replace my mattress and found Cbus on Yelp. It had great reviews so I stopped by. The location is in a somewhat industrial commercial business strip. The owner, Ben, was not in so I called the phone number. He said he was out delivering a mattress and that I could schedule an appointment. Although you should schedule an appointment and typically can't just drop in, it's worth it. I made an appointment online for the next day. When I arrived, Ben offered my boyfriend and I something to drink and there was low music playing. You are made to feel right at home. This is a personalized, one on one consultation. He discusses your needs and makes recommendations. You are able to lay on the mattresses and try them out. It is a small place and has only has about 10 options to choose from. The one we picked was in stock and he offered to deliver same day, but we decided on next day. He offered a free delivery promotion and there are often additional discounts on the website or Yelp. Ben even added some complimentary accessories. The one thing to note is that he does not offer pick up and disposal of your old mattress, but he does provide information for a service that will pick it up at no charge. I spent a little more money than I intended, but the service seemed worth it. Ben came out personally and set everything up. Something else to note: there is no trial period or return policy. Once it's delivered, you won't be able to change your mind. *Update- The mattress I purchased was at the higher price point, but has lost support already which is disappointing. The Z pillows have been great. They are soft yet supportive. read more

This is by far the best place to buy a mattress. Not only are the prices low but Ben is one of the most professional and kind people I have met. He was definitely a breath of fresh air after going to Mattress firm and having a team of salesmen try to sell me a bed I didn't want for a ridiculous price. Ben was not focused on selling me a bed. He was focused on the needs of my girlfriend and I to make sure we got the best bed for the best price. The mattress he helped us pick out ended up being half the price that was offered at mattress firm and he even threw in a mattress protector and sheets free of charge. Me and my girlfriend just moved from California to Ohio and we needed a mattress asap. Unlike other places that say they do same day delivery (like mattress firm), Ben actually delivered our bed same day. Ben is trust worthy and deserving of more business. I would recommend anyone to come to his store for any mattress needs. read more

Ben is awesome! Great experience, great mattress! Keep in mind it's not a store, it's a small warehouse, and all appointments are one on one. read more

Great Experience! We very much appreciated the 1:1 appointment with Ben, he is very knowledgeable on the products he offers. We ended up with a plush pillow-top mattress and are extremely pumped about it. Ben made the process very easy and delivered it as well. Ben is one of the nicest most genuine people you will meet. I was nervous going into mattress shopping, scared I would be conned into paying too much for a poor quality mattress. After reading the phenomenal reviews on yelp for CBUS mattress, I knew it was where I would get a good quality mattress for a great price, but most importantly from an honest person. Ben was extremely accommodating with my budget and added a free mattress and pillow cover. He even delivered for free the day of because he didn't want me to have to sleep on the floor another night. It happened to Memorial Day and he didn't have help moving (I wasn't much help) and he carried the large mattress three flights of stairs himself. Ben even helped me with buying a bed frame (not something he usually sells), which he also delivered free. He really spent his time making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Just amazing! If you're a local and always hit up Mattress Firm, try CBUS first! read more
