Charged up fount $2500 for alternator and battery. After job was complete my car had a bad oil leak. Took it back and was told the oil sensor was leaking. Replaced sensor and still had a oil leak.took it back this time they said it was cracked oil pan. Another $2700 I refused. Took to another mechanic he said it was the oil sensor and not the oil pan. It is still going to cost me another $1300. Looks to me like it would have been easy to find the oil leak the first time. I am 83 yrs. old and easy prey. Went to have another alignment done on my F-350. They took the truck and put it on the alignment rack then called me to the back and told me that the truck wouldn't fit on the rack. I know that this is bullshit because they did an alignment on the same truck less than a year ago. Either the mechanic is scared to do what needs to be done or he doesn't know what he is doing!!!!!! They left 3 lug nuts loose on each wheel after getting an "alignment" My car pulled even harder to the left after the alignment. Tried telling me I needed to replace parts on my front end that I knew were good. They charge a ridiculous labor charge for anything thing they do which is crazy considering their "mechanics" can't even tighten up lug nuts. read more

Although most reviews on this site are negative, I for one had a great experience at Big O Tires. Yes, they are under new management, but that should be a good thing...? Clearly the company is looking at the leadership at local levels to determine why or why not the business is succeeding or failing. I had a flat tire last week, and the team at Big O Tires were honest and upfront with me from the beginning. Although my tire size was not in stock; they placed the spare tire on my vehicle until the tire can be delivered. I was not charged for this! My new tire was there is less than 12 hours and my total maintenance was completed in less than a day. Give them a chance! read more

False advertising on sign- "17.99 oil change". I go to get an oil change and he gave me the option between synthetic or conventional as a part of the oil change package without mentioning any price difference. Total price ended up being $121. Misleading advertising and unwilling to budge. Appointments also mean nothing. Showed up for what I was told was the first appointment of the day at 8 o'clock a few minutes early. Dropped car. Got breakfast and came back an hour later to see my car just then being pulled into the bay. Waited another hour (which was expected) for oil change to be done. When making the appointment, I was told we can then get the 2nd car immediately after the 1st. Instead after the first car, we were told it would be an additional hour before getting the second car in. Had to come back in the following day so I wouldn't be late to work. read more

Brought two wheels in Friday September 1st to have tires installed. The worker who installed the tires badly damaged my wheels while installing the tires. As soon as I saw the damage I informed the lady at the front desk. She apologized and the worker admitted to damaging them. They called their district manager Larry and he said he would call me Tuesday and have the wheels repaired. After nearly a week the store manager nor the district manager will return my calls. I called today and refused to let them call me back and sat on hold for an hour waitingu on the store manager to pick up the phone. The store manager answered the phone annoyed and told me that the tech informed the front desk my wheels were damaged before the install. Then called today yelling and threatening me. Clearly a pathetic attempt to cover up their mistake. Avoid this place. read more

They didn't have my tire size in stock but could order them and have them by the next day. This was paramount because I had to leave town as soon as the tires were put on. We agreed on a tire and price but when I came back the next day, I was told the tire I agreed to was unavailable. They ordered another set that was $200 more expensive. Due to my time crunch, I had no choice but to agree to the more expensive tires. Big O's attempt to rectify the situation was to offer me an alignment that I don't need and a $5 dollar bottle of fuel treatment. This entire situation could have been avoided with a phone call when they "discovered" the tire I wanted was unavailable but instead they waited until I showed up and had no choice but to pay there price. I would have taken my business elsewhere but my tires are oddball size and no one in town has them. I am hoping they didn't intentionally screw me over and the lack of a phone call was just an oversight. However, if you wanted to take advantage of a customer, you would have behaved in exactly the same way. Needless to say, this will be my last purchase from Big O's read more
