They were not transparent about our wait time. We had waited 2 hours just for an oil change and a tire rotation. After an hour and a half, I asked how much longer, they said 5-10 minutes. After 15 minute, I asked again, they said they were waiting for a part, but unsure about the time. We have busy lives and do not have time to spend 2 hours at a tire shop. The attitude I was given because I asked how much longer was insane. Next time please be up front about wait times and why a service is taking so long. The coupon did not help whatsoever. If I could give this place and the two workers here, Ernesto Rosales Sanchez and Jaycob Mendoza a 0, I would. I came to fix the tire and brake, which later on I refused to change the brake. I didn't give consent for them to change the brake at all, yet they told me they already worked on it and charged me labor fee for it. They made me wait for 2 hours for nothing. Only when it was their closing time that I came up and asked them that I saw my car was already parked there, meaning it should be done already. No one informed me or even messaged me, though they knew I sat right there. Then they said nothing was done to my car because I refused service, while I made it clear with Ernesto that I didn't want to change my brake but I was okay with changing the tire. So if nothing was done, why did they make me wait for 2 hours for nothing? Then Jaycob refused to change the tire stating it was not in stock (though Ernesto told me it was when I dropped of the car). When I said I had a spare tire in my trunk, Jaycob refused to do it saying it was past their time. I should have known about this place and chosen somewhere else since the negative reviews of this place already on Yelp. But it was close to my home so I decided to go with it. Never again will i want to work with dishonest and untrustworthy people like this. Very unprofessional. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. read more

They made sure I was helped right away, gave me a correct estimate of the time I would wait, and even providing me with multiple quotes on different tires that I would need in the near future. I was able to see how they interacted with other customers and I truly believe they pride themselves in great customer service. Finally, opening at 7AM is such a huge benefit that only reassured me that I can handle any tire needs before needing to head into work. This place is a JOKE!!!! We have taken our car in 6 times now since May (it is now July) to fix our AC! Each time we take it back and asking why it stop working, they come up with a bullshit excuse like "oh we forgot coolant" or "we must have not tightened the valves" or they would tell us that something new needs to be replaced suddenly! They would "fix" whatever problem and then within a week it stops working!!! This is my husband's car that I occasionally drive! It is the middle of summer and I am 7 months pregnant(yes I know not their life nor do they care) but this is ridiculous service! Also the last time we got it back it look like a rodent chewed at the seat!!!! read more

I have gone there a few times but this last time was it. I went it with noise issues and after being given my car back, lights in my headlamps weren't working and I've had strange light issues in the interior. I know they did not rotate my tires even though it's signed off in paper saying they did. I'm not even sure they touched the tires, have a special tire cap on one that was in the same place. If they had they might have caught the nail I had in it. Which was discovered after; it was low, then held while I went into Big O (for that last visit about noise) then afterwards it went down again so I went somewhere else to have them check. Kinda don't like when they lie about little things, because whats to stop them from being deceptive about bigger ones. Not going to return, trust is gone. read more

Seriously the BEST Big O in town. These guys truly care about their clients. Came home from a trip & started hearing my breaks rub. Got worse on this Sunday afternoon. My husband called them, they were able to get him in. They close at 4, but by 3:45 we hadn't heard from them. When he called to check in, he told them I have to go to work in the am & we have not other car for me to drive, Alonzo said no worries, we'll stay late to get it done for you. Bit only did they stay late to finish it up, they gave us a few discounts to help since this was an unexpected. While I was there, I remembered a humming in my engine. Francisco took it for a test drive, with my husband, while I was working on finances, again thank you Alonzo for suggesting ezpay. Francisco heard the humming, thought it might be a wheel baring. He again pulled it up on the rack while Alonzo revved the entire, he couldn't hear the noise but su m gave me suggestions on how to figure out what it it. Every time we've bright our cars here we've received phenomenal service & it's never the same lesson we are dealing why m with which speaks volumes about their management. Went to get tires balanced due to a shaky feeling and asked to keep an eye on the tires to make sure it's not out of round (which they should already do). Got told all tires were good and got charged the balancing. Went to a different shop to double check immeditely the owner doesn't know why big brand even charged me the front left tire was out of round. And he showed me for proof. Big brand doesn't take the extra time to pay attention to detail would not reccomend going here. Try a local or family owned shop instead. read more

Took my 95 bronco in for brake evaluation .. I had purchased tires here before .... front brake started to lightly grind two day before ... I had a brake job and rotors replaced last year At a different mechanic .. cost was about $500... Did a little research and read brakes last about 30,000 miles ... so made sense .. time for new brake pads ... Was told brake, rotors, calipers and the mechanism that Engages the caliper was stuck and had to be rebuilt .. that the front right break pads was stuck to the rotors Estimate quote for repair $1,500 I looked at the guy .. told him I don't think your mechanic is being truthful ... I had my rotors changed last year ... Took to another mechanic .... for another opinion ... said rotors had a little wear and rear , but still were plenty fine He fixed the brakes .. said mechanism just needed to be cleaned and lubed .. brake pad $45 and I gave him $150 to labor ... DO NOT GET YOUR CAR WORKED ON HERE! Terrible service and management! I brought my car in to get the brake sensors fixed. He (Jacob) assured me they can get the job done. They replaced the back sensor only and gave my car back, I got in to find out my brake light Is still on. I came back in and he said yeah, you have to replace the front once another time. I'm pissed because I spent 4 hours waiting on them to just replace one sensor and it didn't even solve the problem. They will also tell you 30-45 minutes to get the job done. BULLSHIT! Poor management and waisted 4 hours on them. I don't recommend doing business with these idiots! read more

So i always come to big o tires, they're usually alright can't complain it's a tire shop. i came not too long ago because i noticed my car was leaking coolant dramatically. took it to Big O Tires, they told me my coolant reservoir tank was cracked... to fix they said almost 700!!! i went home and checked myself and there was absolutely no crack. I went to the dealership instead, they found the problem and was 300 dollars cheaper and the problem was fixed. the reservoir tank is only 50 bucks and took me 5 mins to take out while it took them 2 hours oh and THEY DIDNT EVEN FREAKING CHECK, i KNOW they didn't check because it was a pain to take off and looks like it was not touched at all. These people are scammers when they wanna be. Better to go to a dealership..most of the time. read more

These folks are fantastic. My Chevys brakes started making a bad noise Saturday afternoon and this service center squeezed me in for fast service. I additionally requested a front end alignment which they gladly performed. Their service technician also noticed a broken motor mount, I approved the repair. However it was about closing time , so they kept the car and finished the job Sunday morning. The paper work was spot on , the bill matched the quote and they had a computer generated report w a warranty. These folks have earned their 5 stars! I'm impressed. read more

QaBam!!! went our right rear tire on our Honda Accord just as we passed a semi going south of San Jose on I-5 an hour from Bakersfield. So we limped in on our donut tire to Big O Tires. I went in the for an oil change on an appointment. The young man named Xavier told me to come back because they're booked. I said "what do you mean you're booked"? He says "Oh I didn't know we'd be this busy". I Insisted that they honor my appointment. Anyway they eventually did. Then I had a coupon and the older fellow at the front desk says very rudely "yea you'll pay what you'll pay" when I asked him if can use my coupon. Needless to say, I took my car elsewhere and won't ever go back there. It's too bad, because I' been taken my two cars there for years when it was the old team. Brake rotors, brakes, oil changes, etc. Now with this newer team, it seems to be always frustrating and just an unorganized way they run the store. Owner take notice. I do not know why I bother with this tire store. Well, yes I do, it is because I like Brice and Charlene. I needed four tires for my wife's car and wanted to buy local and support a local business. I went in to get some quotes and Ramon provided me with quotes for several brands and models of tires. The ones that had a good price had crappy reviews, four stars. I won't use anything with bad reviews so I asked about some Nittos that we had on the car. They are rated 4.6 to 4.8 on a scale of 1 to 5. He quoted me $859. I told him I pay $576 for the tires. Another employee told me some nonsense about mounting and balancing, etc. Like $283 worth of mounting/balancing? They make it hard to buy local, No way there is more than $280 in additional services to the four tires. At least not from me. I give up on this place. read more

Came here exactly at 9am. On my way to get coffee I got a nail in my tire. I had roadside come out and change out my tire to my spare. He assured me the tire is repairable and I felt he same as the nail isn't in the sidewall and I pulled over as soon as I felt something was wrong. With the spare on I drove straight to Big O tire as it's the only place open on Sunday. I asked that they take a look at my brakes since I'm already there. So after an hour and 15 minutes they looked at my car and told me my tire wasn't able to be pat he'd because I ran too long on the tire and it wore out the thread. Now you know this doesn't sound right. The nail is still intact and didn't shred up my tire. My thread is fine. I asked what their price is on the tire. Out the door it would be $211. Which wouldn't have been an issue but it's only a $135.00 tire anywhere else. So I asked them to just give me back my car. So he said okay we'll have to put it back together and it'll be right up. 25 minutes go by. I walked in and he said it'll be 5 more minutes. ...10 minutes goes by, as I was about to walk back in, the cashier came out and told me my car was parked on the side. This place is overpriced and clearly only there to make sales. I'll keep my donut and wait till Monday to have it repaired. read more

I came in on Wednesday morning to get quote for an oil change and to schedule an appointment. We scheduled it for Thursday at 9am as we had appointments through out the day and I needed to fit everything in. We came in before 9 on Thursday, there where there are very few spots for people to sit and wait, those seats are practically sitting on top of each other their drink machine refused all cash, and their bathroom was nasty as well. We were left to sit outside on a curb due to lack of room inside, at 9:30 I inquired about the wait time since my appointment time had passed and was told "We were next in line" we waited another 40 minutes and by 10:10 my vehicle was still not even taken back, we left and were seen immediately next door at Mobil 1. This was both my first and last experience at Big O Tires, they were unprofessional. They do not respect or value their customers time. read more

I went around to different places this day to look for a great deal on tires since I needed to buy four. I also need my brakes done so if I can get a deal doing them together I was going to try to snag that. The tires that I decided on where a lot chunkier and bigger than what I thought and the bigger the tires the pricier they are so in my budget was 1000 my tires were going to be 1300 anywhere. I decided to go with big O tires because they had everything in stock where as other tire places I went to couldn't get it until the next day or up to three days. And also no one else offers "snap". Snap was a way to finance me even though I am self-employed. So since they finance me for more than what I needed I want to head and did my breaks at the same time as my tires. As long as I pay them back before 100 days I won't have any interest. Wish I could pay them back in about 1 week anyway. So now my tires look great or I should say they make my car look great and my brakes are done I don't have to come back... they did tell me about my shocks needing to be done soon but I already knew that was coming up close.
