Very cute shop. It's a small neighborhood shop in Greenpoint and I'm a fan. The place is compact but it makes up for it with the variety of products ranging from canned seafood, spices, drinks, and glassware. I stopped by the other week while I was in the neighborhood and had a delightful conversation with the cashier on all things chili oil. Picked up a jar of Boon chili oil. Digging the new swag too. Might need to pick up a tote bag next time. Excited to see what upcoming events they host

Although when you enter it might look a bit cluttered up and over crowded, don't get just turned off and walk out, they actually have a very decent verity of all types of home hardware, say like pots & pans, cutlery, organizing containers, towel hooks and even alarm clocks.... (People still buy them?! It's like buying a flash light when you have one on your phone...) Customer service is also very friendly and nice and always more then willing to help you find whatever you're looking for and give you the perfect recommendation of the product which will meet your needs. Price is also okay although not the cheapest, but hey, when you have a big nice place with great customer service you can't expect them to charge you a bodega price for a pot. Speaking of Pot's I was once on the road out in the wild and needed urgently a pot for some cooking, so I stopped into a small bodega (don't ask me what I was thinking and I ask the cashier if he by any chance has a pot so he says "umm Pot"? sure, go right to the back of the store, It took me a minute to realize that he was talking about "POT" and I quickly made a U turn and ran outta there laughing my head off....... One more thing that they offer is a Mikvah* on the spot that you need for some dishes when you buy them. In overall this please is great and therefore my go to place whenever I need nay home supplies. ---------------------------------------------------- *Mikvah, for those of you that are not familiar with it, it is a religious ritual that you need to submerge any dish that you intend of using multiple times into a tub of water that contains a certain amount of pure rain water, and after submerging it into the Mikvah you're able to use the dish for as many times as you wish. (Disposable stuff don't require a Mikvah)

For those who know, a Chinese cleaver is not a bone cleaver, it is used like a Chefs knife and cannot break through bone. The cleaver was heavily damaged and I was looking for a place to help me repair and sharpen the blade. Indulge Kitchen Supplies was one of the only places that responded and I am glad they did. The store itself is on a main street with a fair amount of street parking and the store is super cute. The store sells a variety of kitchen gear from different knives, cutlery, utensils, etc. Most of the curated items are modern and high quality such as Durelex glass and Global Knives. While their prices are a little higher than online prices, they have quality stuff and I recommend buying from them. Their knife sharpening and repair was a life saver for me. The Chinese Cleaver is a large knife and they were able to get it done for me in less than a day and it was fully repaired. Looking at the photos you can see that they took out all the dings on the knife and sharpened it back to the point where I could use it again. I highly recommend this service and would readily come back when I need any knife repair or sharpening.

Coming from someone that is allergic to egg whites I don't really own a Whisk for that purpose. I'm familiar with the product from my Mother and Daughter. They're the cooks. I found this store interesting since it's named after a single kitchen utensil. You can order from the company online. I purchase items for my daughter as gifts. After all she bakes for me. I see this as a local business. During the pandemic I find it best to support them by shopping on line. Our Home goods stores in my neighborhood have closed. I'm happy for those of you that live near Whisk. I learned a lot about this cooking utensil from this business. They have a wide selection of other quality products not just whisks. For your information: A Whisk is a cooking utensil used to blend ingredients smooth and to incorporate air into a mixture. The process is known as whisking or whipping. Most Whisks consist of a long, narrow handle with a series of wire loops joined at the end. The wires are usually metal, but some are plastic for use with nonstick cookware. Whisks are also made from bamboo. Those Swedes could make some bamboo whisks! Whisks are commonly used to whip egg whites into a firm foam to make meringue, and to whip cream into whipped cream. Whisks have different shaped loops depending on their intended functions. Since the 19th Century, various mechanical devices have been designed to make whisking more efficient, under the names egg beater and rotary mixer. Until I started looking for a gift I had no idea there are so many varieties of whisks. I have used an egg beater for mashed potatoes! Any serious chef has a wide variety of Whisks in their kitchen. I'm not one anymore. I shop for gifts. This is a one of a kind store. They carry a large selection of merchandise. They sharpen knives too!

The cabinet we needed was not in stock in the color we wanted and when we asked to see other options, we were pointed in the direction of the custom cabinet department. When we got there, we learned the staff for that department werent in on saturdays. Our only other option was to order the cabinet we needed in the color we wanted online and picked up at the store. So, limited selections at this home depot but the staff are really nice. the cabinet we needed was reasonably priced. Will have to be back for our cabinet but overall, not terrible. we also want to get some plants.

My children and I are loyal attendees of the monthly workshops, and they were particularly excited about the haunted house-building activity scheduled for October 4, 2025. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend on the scheduled date because my three-year-old son was sick. Incident Details Knowing how much my children enjoy these activities, I called your store on Sunday, October 5th, and was advised by a store associate to stop by the Customer Service desk to pick up the workshop materials for my two children. I made the significant effort to travel to the store via public transportation specifically to retrieve the kit so that my family could still enjoy building it together at home. Upon arriving at the Customer Service desk at approximately 5:30 PM, I was informed by the female manager on dutythat she "was not leaving this long customer service line to walk to the office for that". Even though there were several associates at multiple registers, she adamantly refused and was unwilling to assist, even after I explained that I had spoken to an associate who advised me to come by the store. I find this level of service completely unacceptable, especially after traveling to the store specifically for this purpose. I felt dismissed by a manager with what felt like a refusal to provide a basic level of customer accommodation. Follow-up on Monday On my way out, I stopped an associate named Odesa who turned out to be extremely helpful. She explained that the woman who had refused service was indeed the manager and would be the only one able to retrieve the workshop activity. However, Odesa promised that if I stopped by tomorrow, she would do her best to accommodate me. On Monday, October 6th, straight after work, I made my way back to the store. I found Odesa, and as she promised, she walked over to Customer Service to speak to the same young woman. While waiting, I could see and hear the black female manager and a young black man with red hair and matching red pants snickering and cackling as I waited patiently. When the manager finally got around to getting the workshop activity, she handed me one kit. I explained that I had two children. "Oh," she replied with an attitude, handing me another as she sneered. The manager's priority seemed to be avoiding a temporary inconvenience rather than upholding the promise of the workshop program and assisting a long-time customer. This conduct reflects poorly on this Home Depot location and honestly I have never had this experience at Hamilton or any other locations quite frankly. Request for Action The children's workshops are a wonderful community initiative, but the positive experience is negated when your management staff fails to demonstrate helpfulness or basic customer service. I request that you investigate this matter and take appropriate steps to ensure that all staff, especially managers, are trained on proper customer service and problem-solving, particularly when a customer is following advice given by another store representative. Odesa went over and beyond in her efforts to assist me, and instead of being able to write a letter shining a light on her phenomenal customer service, the focus is unfortunately overshadowed by the incompetence and ineptitude of the manager. It is concerning that a regular associate was more resourceful and helpful than the management on duty.

Honestly they don't cater to the small time customers like me, but nonetheless their prices will definitely be better than at the previously mentioned merchant. For my visit, I knew what I wanted for my foray into making pizza dough, I needed a container to store my rising dough. I also needed a bunch of squeeze bottles so knew exactly what to ask for. I didn't need much interaction with staff, but I was able to find one staff member who was very helpful pointing me in the right direction for what I needed and finding the cover to the container I was going to buy. I was in and out quickly on a Saturday afternoon so I'd say if you know what you want and are ok with a little less than 5 star service for the price,.. you should be ok.
