All four major department stores Macy's, Belk, JC Penny's, Dillard are housed here. Having a Cheesecake Factory on-site is clout enough. There are three escalators, one at each end and in middle. Our trip was during a Saturday night in November after Thanksgiving and it wasn't wall to wall people but enough to see business is going well. There is an Apple Store here as well as more than just shoe and hat stores. Central locale to get a lot of different shopping done all at once within Haywood Mall.

With no room at all for dessert, we took in the charming decor, purchased a few items and made a note to come back asap. One note...the prices run about $20 per plate and the portions are fair, but modest be prepared to spend about $50-60 per person with a glass of wine and tip, but it is worth EVERY penny.
