First of all, let's all just scroll through their IG (@hommework) for the next 57 minutes and look at the male models without shirts on. Seriously hawwwt! Beyond the ridiculously sexy bodies on their IG feed, they also post about sales so you can stay in the loop. Oh ya and text HMWRK to 69302 to get exclusive invites to things like sales and parties. I've found everything here from G-star jeans to cocktail dresses. Actually my absolute fave LBD (little black dress for this of you that don't know) is from Hommework! Obviously they carry both women's and men's clothing so this store is truly for everyone. And they do have a decent amount of jewelry available. Oh and Hommework's clothing line goes pretty quick too, so grab 'em while you can. My favorite thing about Hommework is the personal shopper experience...even for the pickiest of shoppers. You can either go through the racks pulling everything you love or you can just tell the whoever's on hand you're size and what you want. They'll seriously bring you everything they own that meets your standards. Personally, I like to do a mixture of both only because I sometimes miss things and they'll also bring you things that aren't on the floor yet. The dressing rooms are big enough and just what you'd expect of a boutique. Really, I can't rave enough about the staff! They're like a mixture of two of my fave movie shopping scenes: White Chicks and Mean Girls (on Wednesdays we wear pink). They're very nice all the time, but they'll recommend something different if you try something on that doesn't look great on you. I've never heard them recommend Sears though, so you'll never deal with cattiness with Hommework's staff. Love, love, love Hommework! The new location is in the Century Plaza where Tres Mariposas and Nono's is located. The store has a great calm feel to it and the owner is very sweet. There is a variety of clothes, accessories and shoes to choose from. They carry Havaianas which is true must, as well as other designers. I think their price range is totally reasonable which makes me think that the owner knows her market. Overall, I think visiting this place is totally worth it!

V&X is such a cool space. Women's on the left, men's on the right and two black sleek chairs in the middle in front of the table with accessories. They have a great selection for women and it seems as though they only purchase one in each size (small, medium and large only) for each shirt, blouse and dress. There are a few other boutiques in town with the same buying tactics and even though it's totally depressing when you find something super cute, but not in your size...I'd rather know that I won't run into 20 other chicks at the Garden with the exact same dress and it's a plus that this allow stores to bring in more mech sooner. Pricing is totally affordable. I bought a color block dress for $38, an infinity ring for $5 and a double ring for $8. And those prices are full price, so when stuff goes on sale or they have discounts I already know where I'm spending my paycheck. Oh ya, and get the frequent shopper card, every other purchase is discounted.

Did not receive a gift receipt when purchased but that is required for any type of exchange or return. Their selection is so-so and quality of clothing is average at best. I give it the low star because of the attitude of the associate while I was showing interest in returning a gift I had received. They just wouldn't have it. Their policy should just be "no returns or exchanges, ever" and they should tell you that when you are checking out. Regurdless of their policies, if you are in retail and want to be successful, think about your customer service and make an effort for repeat business. Trend Society didn't seem to be too concerned that I will never shop there agin. oh...they also charged for gift wrapping when they "wrapped" the gift in their own "Trend Society" labelled white cheap looking bag and wadded up the ugly tissue paper.
