Newsreel in the open mall. Seems bigger than the old online Dyer. Employees very nice & helpful.

Marshall's in El Paso are sometimes tough to find good stuff as they usually feel over-picked…read more But this is my favorite one of them all as it doesn't have as much clientele as the others. I like to buy clothes from the perimeter as I feel it is so much easier to find my size and still feels like regular shopping Great finds for kitchen, decor, and more. I don't always walk out with stuff but when I do. I feel like the luckiest girl alive

The checkout line in these type of stores tends to get pretty brutal but with all cash registers open here, it moves at a steady forward pace. I like to mostly check out the home goods section. There can be nice items found there for reasonable prices. Here I saw a few leather bound notebooks on clearance for $2.00 and a brand new stainless steel cocktail strainer/cup/jigger for $12.99 (normally $20 - I google'd it). Personally I do not think they carry the greatest deals on clothing (I saw a few last season Under Armour plain cotton tank tops for $14.99) but I am sure there are probably a few steals hiding around if you take the time to really look. A quick look at their shoes and I saw some okay prices...For example, Tom's wedge boots on clearance for $36, from their last year's Spring season collection. The inventory changes so if you happen in and leave empty-handed, try another visit and you could get lucky on a find. Per usual, some items are at a good price and others are not. Also, for you pet owners, there is a pet section near the front registers. I did not see it until I was in the middle of a long line but it looked like there were a lot of toys and related stuff.

It was fairly clean and organized, which I appreciate! My main complaint is the lack of options and variety. The aisles also aren't as clearly marked as I'd like. Overall, we'll be going back because it's the closest to us and it wasn't a terrible experience. I'll update if anything changes.

There are many machines roaming around, stocking during peak hours and what seems as a lack of care. I did encounter an employee on the floor who was helpful in assisting with a damaged popcorn box as I was concerned with it still being on the shelf. Fatima at self-checkout is also helpful and kind. Other than that I am concerned with the amount of employees on their phones and not looking up to greet customers, offer help/support or appear as present. Speaking of greeting, the front door needs to be more consistent with customer facing, customer engagement and if checking receipts is a policy, it needs to apply to all and not just some or when personal conversations aren't taking place.
