The Hallsville store is cluttered and dingey. The selection is limited. The doors, registers, etc., always seem to be broken. To get there you have to cross a parking lot with crater like pot holes.

This Dollar General market just opened a month or two ago in Hermann, Missouri. It is a DG market…read moreso there is much more food options than a regular Dollar General. The store is a pretty good size for a Dollar General. Most of the checkout lines are self serve, but that's just the times in which we live. Everything was clean and orderly, and there were no boxes on the floor in the aisles, which was nice. I hope it stays that way, because for some reason Dollar General's tend to keep some of their merchandise in boxes on the floor.

It was nice and clean on my recent stop and they had lots of inventory. I bought cleaning products and some snacks. They have really stepped up their grocery selection. There is a freezer and refrigerated section now. I drive this way pretty frequently and they are open every day so I'm sure I'll be back!
