They are a little pricey, but we really stopped by to check out clearance, especially after the holidays. This is a very nice department store. The merchandise is neatly arranged and displayed well. Kohl's is tricky, though. You never really know how much you are actually going to pay for an item. Everything is marked REALLY high and then put "on sale" as if customers don't notice the fact that the "sale" prices are the same as the prices they would pay at any other store not on sale. Then, they give you further discounts for using your Kohls card or Kohls cash or sometimes they will give you a scratch off game piece at the register. Just stop all the games and start with a fair price. I was going to buy a Bulova watch here for a present, but I couldn't figure out how much it would actually cost, so I went and bought it at JC Penney's instead. read more

Overpriced. Do not go in store without a 30% off coupon. Even then it will not be good for most of the name brands and electronics you might want. Online ordering can be a nightmare; items will be canceled days later..oops sorry we are out. 2017-Four minutes after midnight, Black Friday Sale, they ran out of PS4 for $199. Overall, I like Kohl's. Their prices are usually a little high, but I'll shop here if I have a coupon (which they almost always have coupons on retail-me-not). I really like that I can use the coupons on clearance items. I can usually find some great deals! However, I don't like that the coupons don't apply to Nike items. Last night while shopping with my wife and kids, I witnessed a situation of a rude, hostile customer throwing a fit in the customer service area yelling and threatening the employees and manager. I was kind of disappointed in how an individual would act in public, but it appeared that the management there were able to resolve the issue and made the environment safe again by having the individual leave the store. I love that Kohls believes in a safe and friendly environment, and helps maintain the integrity of family values so that customers like my family and I can enjoy our shopping experience. I have been to many Kohls, but I love coming back to this one in Columbia!! Here is another reason why!! read more

Our Columbia,MO store is a real shame. The place looks like a garage sale clothes in the wrong place,dressing rooms full of clothes, displays aren't updated when the clothes are no longer available on the rack. Today I came in to use my cash rewards coupon, i found some really nice sandals that were marked $9.99 on the little black box attached to the display. i checked twice, now I know that I should have taken a picture of the price because not 30 minutes later when I got to the register, they rang up as $14.99. I asked the clerk to check the price but the shoe department was having problems locating the shoe display so i walked back there to assist. When I got there the clerk informed me that the price is $14.99 and when I looked at the shoe display and the little black box, they were turned off and no price was listed. How convenient I said, you have turned off the price so I have no proof they were $9.99, the clerk showed me other shoes that were supposed to be the same but the black box showed $14.99. I told him I want to pay the price they were marked. So, basically the clerk neglected to change the black boxes on those two particular shoes and tried to cover it up by acting as if i was trying to pull a fast one. They refused to give me the price that had been listed The issue is really about the way I was treated and the staff playing musical prices with the shoes. This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened but the way the clerk tried to cover up what happened really upset me. So much so that I went back to the register and told the cashier to keep the stuff. I was so disgusted that i left my cash reward, it was only for $10 but Iam not a rich person and i was really excited and wanted those sandals and it seemed to be perfect, i could get the sandals for free. I hope this email will not be ignored and will enlighten you to the problems that occur often at this Columbia MO location. I also hope that it will be rectified and i will receive some kind of satisfaction as I hope to resume shopping at your store in the future but if this kind of thing will continue I am sad to say I really dont think i will be back to shop at this Kohls store. read more
