I used to play here years ago, when I lived in Memphis, and recently returned to check it out…read moreagain. It's one of the better places to play in the area. Also, it feels like one of the safest. I've played in a few poolrooms in Memphis that are located in "bad" areas (are there any "good" areas left in Memphis?), where I would be approached by addicts and winos in the parking lot. None of that so far here in Southaven. The staff is among the friendliest I have encountered, anywhere. So far I've dealt with three different employees on three separate visits, and all were quite positive experiences. Prices are great. Where else can you play pool all afternoon (open until 6 PM) for seven bucks? Have not yet eaten the food, but the menu prices look very good. GREAT playlist coming from the speakers in the afternoon. They'd get a lot more money from the jukebox if their canned music was bad, but please don't tell them ;)

There are multiple sitting areas according to your vibe. The front area is where the DJ, bar, and tables are. So if you want to be in the in crowd I would say this is the best area for that. The other room is laid back. There are couches and chairs in that area. If you want to just chill and relax, this is the perfect area. In both areas there are card games and dominos going on. I also love that there is outdoor patio seating, sun room, tv lounge room. So when I say you literally get to pick your vibe I mean it. I also want to include that they have specials on different nights. For instance, they have Wine Down Wednesdays and Thursdays are Greek Nights. Everyone is welcoming, the food and drinks are affordable and tasty, and it's spacious. This is definitely a place I would go to for a get away for a break away from the monotony of the week. Check them out!

There is a large bar top with very nice barstools, a dinner style seating area, a small stage for performances, an area that can either be a dance floor or anything else, and a wonderful back area as a private lounge. The private lounge has privacy glass. It can be a VIP area, or a cigar lounge, or another venue space. There are restrooms for men and women. I was impressed with The Pocket layout. It is accessible from a wonderfully historic staircase from the Tailor's Union upstairs. I loved that at the beginning of the staircase coming down, there is an original fireplace in the brick wall of the stairwell, super original and very nostalgic to the space. Overall, I recommend this space for venues. I hope that they are bookable on Peerspace or another venue space site. Great experience.

I thought that was a really dope idea that you have to walk in and then walk behind whatever you think it's supposed to be there to find the actual bar. When you come in the building is kind of dark. But when you walk back to the bar, it's super white and lit. It looks beautiful! We talked to the owner for a little bit, he was super nice and super friendly. My drink was good. Customer service was pretty good as well. We got there too late to where there was no food, but that's not why we were coming. This is a nice little hidden gem. That's the way the owner described it! Free play of games until midnight. If you have any problems with the games you just let them know and they will fix it. We rotated between pinball, arcade, shooting games, skee-ball, car racing and air hockey game. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, I loved the metal wood game inspired decor. A great customer mix. When we first got there it was older crowd and middle agers with some family then as the night progressed families then the younger generation. It's good to see the younger generation coming in and playing the old school games. All in all we had a blast. The staff was amazing. The atmosphere so much fun and the graphics and visuals for the games were great. We will definitely be back. Oh and they do have a couple of dogs that wander around for a bit visiting and hoping to catch a crumb if you drop it but they were friendly and I hardly even noticed them. Just thought I'd mention in case you are afraid of dogs.
