Like other folks have already stated, Brandon's favorite trick is "price creep." He also gouges on…read moreeverything. If a part costs $25 at Leslie Pool Supply, he's going to charge $85. He charged me almost $100 for two pool floaters that sell for $18.50 each on Amazon. I realize a business needs to mark prices up some, but this was highway robbery. Before he started weekly service, he texted me that he charges "about $200 per month." The moment he started, he said his rate was $250! He ended up only working for me for about 5 weeks -- I just couldn't handle his gouging. The final straw for me was when he tried to charge me a 2nd time for a filter clean out/tear down. When he was called out on it, he took it off the invoice. During the 5 weeks, he filled cracks in the cement around the pool. He charged me a pretty penny, but he never finished the job. He gave me two excuses: 1) He didn't see all of the cracks the first time (even though we paid him $800 for a pool inspection before we bought the house), and 2) he ran out of material. I have asked him 3 times to come back and complete the job, but just like what happened to the other people posting here on Yelp, he just disappeared. What makes him so dangerous is that he is a "cool guy" and he is super knowledgeable -- I'll give him that. But unfortunately he looks at your pool as if it were an ATM machine, and he has no scruples. Steer clear of this guy!

I wish I could give this business 0 stars... The sole proprietor of this business does not…read moreunderstand a concept of delivering on a job he quoted. Final bills are 3+ times the original quote. He also installed a 60% used pool automation part and claimed it was new (until caught) then disappeared and not refunded the money. Also charged for the work he didn't perform. Stay away!

My pool turned into a swamp after I was away for two months over the summer. It was opaque…read moregreen/black with lots of mosquito larvae and brown clumps all over the top, and I had no idea how many dead bodies might be lying on the bottom (I was comforted by the thought that they'd probably be floating if there were any, but you never know). I worked on it for a few weeks myself with limited improvement, and I thought I was going to have to drain it because of the cyanuric acid level, but wanted a professional opinion. My old pool guy had retired. I called another service someone recommended, but they didn't reply. So I put out a Yelp request for quotes and received a couple nice replies almost immediately. I picked Pool Time because Jorge was able to come the next day (on the weekend) for a free consultation, and after looking at it he said he could get it clean it for a fair price over a couple weeks without having to drain it. Jorge went above and beyond to get it done. He had to do more visits than expected but was committed to doing whatever it took to get the pool clear at the quoted price. He always came when he said he would and was very easy-going and nice to work with. After a bunch of visits over a couple weeks (bringing another guy when necessary) and lots of hard work (vacuuming, chemicals, backwashing, multiple filter cleanings, brushing), the pool suddenly cleared up over two days as if by magic. I was skeptical that this pool would come clean without draining it, but he did it. I recommend Jorge at Pool Time because he is honest, friendly, responsive, and will do what he says. I opted to get ongoing pool service from him to make sure my pool stays clear over the next few months. I also like that he uses liquid chemicals instead of pucks, which I'm hoping will help keep the cyanuric acid down for a bit longer. Thanks Jorge!
