Yelp has ALWAYS come out great - - esp if you very slowly and carefully study all comments for all resources. Fred came today, Saturday as promised late Thursday when he answered my inquiry, I have had 4 OLD multi bathroom homes in 4 states, so I KNOW when I find not only an experienced knowledgeable honest plumber but also a very very fine decent good human being to work with. It took Fred awhile to tackle our tough project and the conclusion was we had a seriously dead toilet. He helped me find a top quality Kohler on sale at Home Depot and gave us a good price to install the new toilet, tear out the sink's extended narrow counter above the old toilet/ replace the vanity ( new counter) repair paint wall where the extended narrow counter formerly was attached to the wall. We scheduled his return and I look forward TO MANY YEARS working with such a hard working honest decent person!

One tech came out on a Monday morning to fix another issue that we thought they had already addressed 6 weeks prior, and looked around at the re-pipe issue and said Babe's would get us a quote or send out someone else to look at it in 1-2 days. We expressed our concern of the issue with the worsening leaks, hoping that would at least prompt some sense of urgency. OVER 3 DAYS LATER, we FINALLY received only a PHONE CALL from Babe's about when they may be able to SEND OVER a tech to check out the issue, with no idea of how long it would take to get a quote or when they could start or how long it would take. Clearly, we went with a different company who came out to do the job before Babe's even replied. We will stick with this other company for ANY and ALL plumbing -related issues going forward, and would not call on Babe's Plumbing for any job going forward, unless it is to fix something they didn't address the first time. Highly disappointed that they simply did not care about how big of an issue we had, and how the rapidly progressing problem meant absolutely nothing to them. Not the customer service I want from a company with which I do business.

The company has a solid reputation, and the installation itself was done cleanly and efficiently. I appreciated the attention to detail, and at first, the technician--Taylor--was courteous and professional. However, the experience took a very disappointing turn. When I politely asked Taylor why the new unit was installed in a different orientation than the old one--making the access panels less convenient--he became visibly irritated. I calmly asked again for clarification, and his attitude grew increasingly hostile. He eventually left and returned in an aggressive, angry manner, using multiple profanities (including the F-word repeatedly) and making offensive generalizations about others in my building. I asked him to stop, but he continued to speak to me in an entirely unprofessional and disrespectful way. Although the job appears to have been completed correctly, I was left extremely upset by his behavior. No customer should be spoken to this way in their own home. I strongly encourage the company to take appropriate steps to address this, and I recommend that future customers specifically request that Taylor not be assigned to their installation. The company may be reliable, but this technician's conduct was completely unacceptable.
