No matter what we call him about, he is knowledgeable, dependable, and always willing to help us find the best solution. Fred is reliable, fair, honest, and communicates well. Most importantly, he is someone we genuinely trust to do the right thing and never take advantage of a situation. It is becoming harder and harder to find someone who shows up when they say they will, does great work, and still provides excellent customer service. We truly appreciate everything Fred has done for us over the years and highly recommend him for plumbing, handyman work, and home repairs.

My first choice: Fred's 35 years of experience, " the nicest guy you could work with" review of just 8 days ago, and consistent praise for his just/ fair pricing. He text messaged me immediately. Yelp has ALWAYS come out great - - esp if you very slowly and carefully study all comments for all resources. Fred came today, Saturday as promised late Thursday when he answered my inquiry, I have had 4 OLD multi bathroom homes in 4 states, so I KNOW when I find not only an experienced knowledgeable honest plumber but also a very very fine decent good human being to work with. It took Fred awhile to tackle our tough project and the conclusion was we had a seriously dead toilet. He helped me find a top quality Kohler on sale at Home Depot and gave us a good price to install the new toilet, tear out the sink's extended narrow counter above the old toilet/ replace the vanity ( new counter) repair paint wall where the extended narrow counter formerly was attached to the wall. We scheduled his return and I look forward TO MANY YEARS working with such a hard working honest decent person!

It was so refreshing having a skilled professional making a well thought out approach to a problem…read moreand charging a fair price. After getting an outrageous quote from another company, I asked Aaron to provide a second opinion to the problem and he went through a logical step by step process to determine what was actually wrong. The other company guessed at what needed to be done and quoted an insane amount. Aaron determined what was actually wrong , found a calking canister in the pipe from the original construction , replaced the seals and was able to fix it all for about 8% of the other quote. He saved me a lot of money and completed the job perfectly. We need more professionals like Aaron who are experienced , logical and reasonably priced.

My first experience working with the owner of Good Samaritan Plumbing was a positive one. I even…read morereferred several people to him. Since then, he had one of his very abrasive and verbally abusive employees come to our home to work on our plumbing issues. This person was very abrupt and rude to us on a previous occasion, and we had asked the owner to not send this person out to us in the future. Unfortunately, the rude abusive plumber was sent out to us once again. This time he started screaming and yelling at both my husband and myself, because we were not interested in having him fix the toilet, but replace it with the new one that we had purchased. The rude plumber almost immediately became angry and started yelling at my husband and I because we did not want to have him clean and repair the toilet as HE wanted. We hired him to replace the toilet and put in a new disposal. Since he became very aggressive and verbally abusive almost immediately, we asked him to leave. He would not leave our home, so I told him that if he did not leave, I would call the police. He then proceeded to sit out in his vehicle in front of our home, for approximately 15 minutes. My husband called the owner and told him what was going on. In the interim, I called the office and also let them know the situation. The person I spoke to, told me that this man has had several complaints and said that he would most likely be let go.The owner called me later on and apologized, but he also said that the story that the abusive plumber told him, was different than the facts I had relayed to him. He also said that he's known this man for a long time, considered him a friend, and that he was not looking forward to the difficult conversation he was going to have to have with him. I told the owner, Dave, that this is not a "he said she said" scenario, and I thought it best that we find a different plumbing company for our needs. The owner apologized again, and said that he would call us in a couple of days and set up a time for him personally to come out and perform the job that we initially hired them to do. We heard NOTHING from Dave, the owner, after that. Sadly, under the circumstances, I do not recommend this plumbing company due to their lack of professional conduct and outlandishly rude behavior of the employee they sent to our home twice now.

Incredibly frustrating experience with Lofting Plumbing. They quoted me $85 via text to check a…read morebubbling toilet, but after a quick examination that took less than five minutes--just flushing two toilets--we were told the issue was a "soft clog" that had fixed itself. The plumber spent the rest of his time chatting about everything from his wife's toilet paper usage to suggestions for a bidet. He then went outside and had me flush all 3 toilets while he watched the drain, again saying it fixed itself. To my shock, the bill came to $179, nearly $100 more than quoted! I feel completely taken advantage of--was I really charged for the time spent in conversation and flushing a few toilets? If it was $179, quote us that beforehand. If it's $93 extra for me to flush my toilets, let us know that, so at least we have the option to agree or not. When I called to express my concerns, the response was lackluster. I was told the economy is bad, which is no excuse for poor communication and pricing practices. (But also, the owner so concerned about the economy and paying their employees was on vacation!) It would have been nice to know beforehand that they charged by the 15-minute increments; had I known, I would have cut the visit short after the initial flush. If you consider using Loftin Plumbing, make sure you get a detailed cost breakdown upfront and be prepared to watch the clock! Their so-called "great" customer service didn't do a thing to alleviate my disappointment. I definitely do not recommend this company based on my experience.
