Only a few people can fit inside at a time, but that is part of the charm. The prices are affordable and the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. I tried the ribs first and they were juicy, slightly sweet, and packed with flavor. The edges had a nice crisp to them while the inside stayed tender and moist. I was extra hungry, so I also ordered the tri tip sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The sandwich was generously packed and the tri tip was delicious. The meat was tender, lean, and perfectly seasoned. It came with a barbecue sauce that had a nice spicy kick, which made it stand out from typical sauces. The mac and cheese did not look flashy, but it ended up being one of the best I have had from a local restaurant. It was not the typical super cheesy style. Instead, it was rich, creamy, and really satisfying. We also tried the cornbread, which was only $1 and a pretty big piece. This was the only item I was not as much of a fan of, as it was a bit dry and crumbly for my taste. That said, I know some Southern style cornbread is meant to be less sweet and more crumbly, so others might enjoy it. Overall, this is a small, cozy barbecue spot with flavorful food, generous portions, and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Selma area.

Never disappointed. That's not true. I am disappointed that there is not a Legends in Hanford,…read morebecause I can either spend good money at a great place or spend money wasting it a chain restaurant for the same price. Best food ever, especially The Legend burger. It is so big, my wife and I have to split it. The best time to go, for us anyway, is during the week for lunch. Not too busy. The restaurant still shares the ambiance of the Spike and Rail and Pea Soup Anderson's whom of which previously occupied the restaurant. Don't let the prices fool you. It may seem pricey, but, once you get your meal and you realize that your eyes were bigger than your stomach, you're going to need that "to go" box. Like I emphasized earlier, the prices are VERY fair for what you receive. For the Karen's who only rated 1 star need to go back to Mickey D's for their 5 star meal. LOL Mike

We sat at the bar and didn't get helped until about 10mins after while they sat everyone else. Unfortunately there was the "bartender" and one waitress for the whole restaurant. So sadly we were attended to as often as we needed. Like when the food came we had no napkins or utensils. We asked for some and took about 5mins to have them brought over. The bartender was very apologetic throughout but instead of saying sorry everytime she saw us help us out. My husband ordered the tritip sandwich with chili. The gave him fries so we had to ask for the chili. I got the pulled pork and sweet potato fries. Everything was good. We ordered a salad to go and it took less time than anything else.

For starters, Daniel by far made the experience absolutely worth every minute and dollar. He was very knowledgeable about the drinks and food and had great recommendations for the customer favorites. His service was fantastic, he was on top of making sure everyone at the Bar had their needs met and was quick to assist everyone when needed. As someone who very much enjoys a quality drink, I would stick my own neck out to recommend what this place has to offer. Their drink menu contains a variety of flavors that satisfies different palates. Daniel let me sample the different flavors and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I was genuinely taken aback how different these drinks were compared to what's on the market. The place overall is pretty spacious, not too bright, really clean, has merchandise, a little arcade area, table seating, and bar seating. The most important thing for me was that it was really clean to include the restrooms. If you enjoy Hard Sodas, Seltzers, and or IPAs, I strongly recommend giving this place a try. The food they serve pairs well with the drinks.

We were running late and coming from Clovis so I called to let them know we would be there at 5:00pm. The cheerful and friendly young lady said no problem, we hold reservations for 15 minutes past reservation time. That's great. Thank you. We hate being late. We were welcomed and seated upon arrival and our booth was cozy. This was our first time here and we were hungry and excited to order a great steak and some crab legs. Bread was brought to our table and we enjoyed it. The drink glasses are large and nice and icy! My crab legs were perfect and hubby enjoyed his steak. He liked the beans but there was some spice in there that I didn't really care for. We were thinking we would order dessert but our server who really didn't check on us much during dinner, was ready to bring us our check, so we decided to just pay and stop someplace for dessert. 5 stars for everything but the waiter rushing us at the end of our meal. There was a gift card special going on so we bought one and will be back for hubby's birthday in February.
