Their food truck came to our appartment complex in Camarillo yesterday - I went to the website and placed an order for the 2 piece chicken, rice and salad and paid for it - thought it would be ready when I arrived, but I still had to wait for the order - that cost $15.95. When I got home and opened the carton, I was very disappointed to find the SALAD was about 85%, mostly greens, the rice was about 10% and the leg and thigh were so small I wouldn't even say it was 5% of the entire order! I've NEVER seen such a small chicken! The photo on the website was very misleading as to the size of the chicken - hardly enough meat at all and for $15.00? A TOTAL waste of money! read more

The chicken was tough and fatty. I don't know what the holistic approach is but the chicken seemed to be pumped with hormones. Not good.

The apartment complex advertised that the food truck would be available from 5:30-9:00 p.m. We arrived around 6:30 p.m., with only two people ahead of us in line. We placed an order for loaded mini "me" potatoes, a chicken wrap, and buffalo wings. At the time of ordering, we were asked to leave our phone number and were informed that the wait would be approximately 20 minutes. After waiting around for some time just in case it was early, we returned to our apartment while the order was prepared. Approximately 20 minutes later, we returned and observed multiple people waiting. After waiting with them again, we asked for an updated estimate and were told it would be another 10-15 minutes and that we would receive a phone call when the order was ready. We returned to our apartment and waited an additional 40 minutes without receiving a call, at which point we came back to the truck. When we returned, we waited alongside the person who was initially ahead of us in line and the person behind us. We were then informed that the ticket for the customer in front of us had been lost, and that her food had been ready for some time but there was no way to contact her. By this point, more than an hour and a half had passed since we ordered, so I requested a refund. We were told that part of our order had already been prepared and that the wings were still in progress, so we would only receive a partial refund for the wings. Because the food was not prepared at the same time, the potatoes and chicken wrap were cold upon receipt. The potatoes required additional seasoning, and the lettuce in the chicken wrap was wilted and appeared old (see attached photo). While the chicken itself was acceptable, the overall quality did not justify either the cost or the extended wait time. read more

This food truck came to my apartment complex. I ordered the leg and thigh combo with rice and salad and I have to say it was the best I ever had flavorful and portion size were perfect for the price. Went back about 15 minutes later and ordered the hot wings, which were out of this world delicious I picked up a turkey leg and the Owner was really nice enough to give me another one on the house, which I appreciate it so much because it was the best love this truck and hope to come back soon. read more

Tried this spot out while at the pumpkin patch, they had turkey leg this day and it was ok. Turkey leg came out warm, i wish it would've been hot. Also there was cilantro sprinkled on top I guess as a garnish which I didn't care for, I like cilantro but did not with my turkey leg. I also got garlic Parmesan oven roasted baby potatoes and again it was ok, it had kind of a tangy taste to it. This is a food truck so I'm not too sure about their seating areas on a daily but they did have a spot for us to sit at the pumpkin patch, although it was just one long table for us to share with other customers. Understandable though as this is a food truck and space is most likely limited. The cashier that helped us was the only one working and she was very friendly and extremely helpful so I did appreciate that. read more

Yesterday was hot. Gross hot - 108 in the shade with no wind as the sun was setting hot. My dog and I had walked the 5 blocks to Gazebo Gardens for a quick bite (she had plenty of water and shade during our outing). I had not see Wild Wild Chicks before, and was immediately drawn in by their posted QR code and online ordering. From the time my order was accepted to the time I got my food was 7 minutes (AMAZING!) and I took the food to go to get us out of the heat. When I got home, I opened up the bag to the most fantastic surprises! Sitting on top of my order was a small sauce cup of chicken that had FOR THE PUP written on it! HOW AWESOME IS THAT??? I hadn't even tasted their food yet and had already decided they were getting a 5-star review. After Echo was done with her treat (there was NOTHING left!) I settled into mine in front of the TV. Did I have to back up my show multiple times because I kept stopping to take and send pictures of my food as I ate it to tell people that this was now my food-truck gold standard? Yes. Yes I did. Did I follow them immediately on social media? Yes. Would I have put my dog on my shoulders and fireman-carried her down there and back again in this heat for a second order? Damn right I would! Absolutely delicious. I was at a little art fair/hop this evening and I wanted to try some of the food trucks around. They were parked in front of Food King convenience store and I'm very glad I saw them come down the street and park. They weren't done setting up but stopped what they were doing and turned on their TVs so I could take a look at their menu, really appreciate that! I came back a little later and ordered a chicken wrap for my wife and a 10pc wings for myself. The wings were delicious! At $10 for 10 wings that's a good deal and they had plenty of meat on the bones. I got the BBQ/Garlic sauce flavors and they both had me licking the bones clean. My wife's garlic sauce wrap tasted so fresh. They have a fantastic combination of ingredients in there and it was good hot and cold when she was eating the leftovers. It's just one of those unassuming meals where you finish and you are just so satisfied with the flavors you keep thinking about it hours after you ate. I hope I'm in Fresno again when y'all are set up because I definitely want to come back and try more of your food. Keep it up guys!! For $16 dollars I would expect a lot more. I ordered the combo with Brest and wing it came with salad and rice. First of all the rice had zero flavor the salad which is basically just lettuce and tomatoes they didn't bother to give me salad dressing the chicken breast and wing were weirdly cut and small the flavor of the skin was ok but the actual chicken again zero flavor !!! Way overpriced for what they have to offer I will not be back. They should probably consider subbing the white bland rice for rice pilaf. read more
