I'm one of those home chefs, trained from watching and reading but with no restaurant experience…read more I've watched so many YouTube channels on how to sharpen knives either on a stone or via pull-throughs. Some of my knives had heavy swirl marks on the steel, most likely because I was doing something wrong while trying to sharpen them myself. After many of these do-it-yourself remedies, I figured I'd get someone to do it for me, the right way. I googled knife sharpening local to me and found Ziggy, almost an hour away! I called and explained to Ziggy what I've tried doing and that I thought I just needed them done by a professional. Ziggy told me they'd be finished in 2-3 days for 5 of my Zwilling knives. A few days later, I received the phone call telling me that my knives were ready to be picked up. I got them home and WOW! I didn't think the swirl marks would come out. I don't know what he did but my knives look amazing AND, they are ridiculously sharp! I'm so happy I found Ziggy and I'd recommend him to anyone needing a great reliable person (and very reasonably priced). Thank you, Zig! You're the best!
