Okay BBQ place, but not the best we've had. The pulled pork was pretty good but the brisket was a little dry. Enjoyed the onion rings and potato salad, but the fries were flavorless and fried corn nuggets not very good. The rolls were tasteless. Their prices are about average. They only have outside picnic table seating now, so it's that or get your food to go. This was disappointing since we planned to eat there and had to fight off flies. The guy working the order window was friendly and food ready within a few minutes. Overall not a bad lunch, but probably not somewhere we're likely to visit again. read more

On Thursday, July 30, 2026, I went to place an order for the Ham Breakfast with 2 eggs and biscuit with gravy. The girl who took my order asked me how I wanted my eggs, so I told her "well done". I waited about 15 minutes. The price was $11.42, which I thought was expensive. Once I had left to go on back to work, I opened my box to find I had 1 biscuit halved with gravy poured over it and a small box with a piece of overcooked ham. There were no eggs. I called the restaurant so the girl says the order taker thought I ordered well done ham. I told her I was charged over $11 for this. She told me she could bring my eggs but I was too far gone so she said she would give me a $2 off the next time I came back. Needless to say, the biscuit did not taste good nor did the gravy. NOT my favorite experience. Its a walk up to a window to make an order, but you better know what you want from all the handwritten signage = and many items "not available". Not a nice place on a overly hot day either! No bathrooms or place to wash your hands! Prices were too high; and so many not health friendly items. The ppl I spoke to there were very less than friendly; impatient that I had to ask questions about their products. My order came back awful. I had to eat and drive. So came back another day. While the owner tried to make things right. The order came better. But the choices there are all overly expensive and were not what i would eat, since health means more to me than anything else; everything is greasy, carbohydrated, heavy salted, and fattened with sugar. We met a relative here for lunch while passing through. Apparently they once had indoor seating, but no longer. Picnic tables with benches on the patio were available. In good weather this wouldn't be a problem. On a very cool rainy day, not so nice. We decided to tough it out due to time constraints. The staff were nice and even let us use their restroom. The food wasn't the greatest bbq I've eaten, but judging from the continuous parade of takeout customers, it must be very popular. A tasty bbq/ southern cooking establishment right next to the Holston River bridge on TN Hwy 66. They serve all sorts of items here, much like a diner, but the emphasis is on variety, quality and quantity. Very reasonable prices. For instance their gumbo is really a soup but tasty. If you are hungry--go for the BBQ nachos. The bbq grilled cheese is unique but the pork stays moist and smoky. The hush puppies are excellent for a TN bbq joint. There are six different sauces--I love the bourbon one--on the table. They do southern food plates, breakfast and homemade pies. Something for everyone--check the daily board. It's small--ten tables or less. Lots of takeout going on. Some yelpers list this place as Riverside BBQ. Both the name and menu has changed. read more

First time trying this place and it was great! I got the sampler which is 3 entrees and 2 sides for $13.99. I chose the brisket pulled pork and ribs. My sides were the slaw and baked beans. I loved everything. My wife got the pulled chicken, slaw, and fries. She loved her food as well. I liked the spicy BBQ my wife preferred the mustard based sauces. We tried a bunch of sauces though and all were great! Make sure to ask for sauce though as it is all served on the side. We will visit here again for sure. read more

We were visiting Tennessee and stopped in Rogersville for the day. We went through town and saw the sign for BBQ, so we stopped. You order at the window and there's outside seating. The brisket and chicken was very good as were their amazing BBQ sauces. Reasonably priced. Great little BBQ place. read more

Had them cater for us we picked it up and was absolutely talked to like a dog and rushed through the process of loading our vehicle . I've ate here in the past with good experiences but the woman working the computer or whatever not sure if she owns it or not has absolutely ruined it for me. Stopped in here yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner, The smokers were fully loaded and the pit master was hard at work. He knows his craft perfectly. I had some of the best pulled pork that I have had in a long time. The food was excellent. Outside eating on picnic tables. Just a great place if you want great smoked meat. I recently visited my family in Rogersville and wanted to show this place some love via a Yelp review. I love seeing hometown businesses succeed, and this one certainly seems to be doing well. Best pulled pork sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Every kind of bbq sauce you can think of and there all good, so have fun trying to choose. Also pretty good for breakfast. Pancake the size of a dinner plate. Only thing to improve would be the coffee. Coffee is a big deal so they need to switch to a better brand. read more

However, the pulled pork and pulled chicken were more like chopped and quite dry- making the sauce an absolute necessity. French fries and coleslaw just as expected. Service was slow- not enough staff, doing the best they could. I didn't realize there was only outdoor seating when we drove out of our way to eat there. FANTASTIC! Hubby and I shared the sampler platter and the hush puppies. Hands down, best hush puppies I have ever had! For our sampler platter we had the chicken, ribs, and brisket. All of it was outstanding. We will definitely be back! read more
