It is a 50 mile trip to get there and I would walk. Listen to all the good reviews and ignore the idiots who are looking for a fancy restaurant. This is down home cooking with a southern feel. We traveled the whole country, so we know. Sent a new neighbor who is from South Carolina and he loved it. We both had the Country Benedict for late breakfast. HUGE and tasty. Coffee was so-so, but not bad like most places. Service was great. Everybody was super friendly. Customers were mostly regulars who are there every day. Breakfast special lasts until 8AM. Wish they were open later because we want to go for our anniversary. It is our 54th !!

Breakfast and lunch only…read more Hog Wild is all kinds of low-key, borderline "divey" atmosphere, but full of personality in service, decor, and food. I'm not sure what I spent more time doing: reading and looking at the overwhelming amount of hog decor, or listening to the locals discussing sundry mundane things, but sometimes funny things, with the other locals. When it comes to the food, there's been nothing disappointing (except maybe the coffee, but okay). Every day the have a list of specials and while nothing to make you think gourmet, you won't be disappointed by the plain food, done well, and given to you by the really awesome staff.

It's something new for this area. That they're open during the winter, and opened during the coronavirus time is wonderful. They have a basic menu every day, but will add in some other dishes and every couple of days, a special dish. So, in other words, customers will always have something new to try. I've tried several items, both the usual, and the special. One of the standards, the Kimchi Chicken sandwich is very good. With a big slice of chicken and just enough kimchi to bring out the flavors and mix the textures, it's filling and a just-one-more-bite sandwich. The mango smoked pork riblets are good, although a little sweeter than I prefer. I'd still get them again. The Adobosilog is good, but for me, so far, the Filipino Hash, available on the breakfast menu, is a winner. Made with fried potatoes, Tocino bacon and eggs, it is exactly what the name says: a Hash. Too bad they don't serve breakfast all day because between that and the Lumpia, I'll always have something when I can't make up my mind. The one item I really didn't care for: Binagoongan Sa Gata. Not sure why, exactly. I like that it was a hearty dish, with bold flavors, but there was just something that overpowered it - maybe it was too much fish sauce. The Sticky Fries with the honey sauce, are okay but I can pass on them. The menu is available on line, but they also have a QR. A scan of that can get the current menu, and, if you want, you can order, and pay at the same time, or pick it up at the window. If you see them around, you owe it to yourself to try. The nicest people serving good food. It's a win all around.

We ordered two burgers, which were fairly average and not quite what you might expect from a high-end steakhouse. That said, the fries were excellent--crispy, well-seasoned, and easily the highlight of the meal. At first, the burgers seemed fine, just not particularly memorable. However, as we continued eating, they became noticeably dry. We also realized that the cheddar cheese was missing from both burgers, and my wife's avocado was also not included. We later learned that condiments like mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc. are provided only upon request on the side, which would have been helpful to know upfront. My wife and I were engaged in a good conversation and our waitress was busy but still attentive, so it wasn't until we were most of the way through the meal that we discovered the issues. When we brought it to Louisa's attention she contacted the manager who was very understanding and kindly credited the burgers from our bill, which we appreciated and felt was more than fair. Tonight we were simply in the mood for a lighter, more casual dinner, and while the burgers missed the mark, the overall experience and service still reflect a restaurant we would return to.

We ended…read moreup here because we needed something open late and their kitchen was open till 11 which is not common it seems in Billings. If you're an iced tea drinker, I highly recommend getting a spiced iced tea. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually just cinnamon iced tea and was lovely. I had the nachos with ground beef. The sauce was not a generic out of the can sauce. the chips were crisp and the ground beef was well seasoned. The only complaint I have if I have to have one is that the jalapeños were very thickly sliced and took over the entire flavor of any bite they were in; a smaller dice on them would've allowed for the jalapeños to be spread out over the entire nacho and not overwhelm the rest of the flavors. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and said they were both a solid burger and fries no complaints. Wheelchair accessibility: accessible parking across the street with a crosswalk; the front door is heavy so you're gonna either need help or be able to open a heavy door and there's actually two doors but plenty of room to maneuver between. the path of travel wasn't bad and there's wheelchair accessible seating in the back of the restaurant. There is no wheelchair accessible seating in the bar area. The bathroom door was light .The accessible stall in the women's bathroom had a grab bar, but there was not sufficient turning radius and the soap was up a little high.
