Frankly I wish they'd expand and drive the severely overrated Buccees out of business. Love me some Rattlers. Just don't break the law and park there if you don't intend to be a customer there, LOL!

When you are out on the road going through small town after small town... it is nice to count on…read moreDollar General. Most small towns have one... thank goodness. We needed an extension cord, but were out in the middle of nowhere... then we came to a town of about 600 and there it was... a Dollar store! We stopped and they had a 6' extension cord as well as just about a little if everything. The people were great! Very very southern friendly. And the store had a small amount of everything! I bought our cord and we were on our way.. yea!

It's gas... and your typical convenance store. Nothing spectacular…read more Gas was priced the same as the other places around. The bathroom was surprisingly ok not great but not disgusting. The selection of snacks, drinks and suck were the norm.

First time customer trying to look at liquor prices and stock. They had the view blocked by stuff…read moreon top of the counter.I'm a little old lady and very short. So I was standing to the side of the counter on the right. Further away than I would have been just shopping and selecting something off an accessible shelf in the middle of the store. I was trying to determine selection and all I could see was the top two rows without standing to the side, Young guy acted like I had gone behind the counter just trying to see. Asked me to step in front of the register where I couldn't see and he would tell me what was back there and the cost. Shelf edge marking needs to be item specific and not microscopic. I didn't appreciate being accused of trying to get behind the counter when he had a chair blocking it anyway. Felt unwelcome and suspect. I'll never be back. My suggestion bring in more shelving to house inexpensive samples kept under lock and key off to the side so short people can see what's available as well as clear black bold shelf edge marking. That way in trying to enforce rules that aren't even being compromised in any way store clerk will not offend short little retired old ladies. Not friendly or welcome. Prices are competitive though.Hand me hand held scanner and I'll remark the whole store with visable labels . Don't like being told what the prices are customer wants to see them brothers. When profiling a little 61 year old lady you should be dismissive. Dang school teacher here, Life of crime not an issue. I didn't break the rules but was harassed like I did. My last purchase unless you amend. I support Aggies old and young. My purchase made between five and six this Friday. Half my life teaching half in retail. I don't want to know how much your valuables are treasured ( back packs what not, registers full of cash ) and how I was just leaning my head over sideways and looking like a classical criminal. Customer is always right and welcome. Able to shop and compare by themselves and choose you instead of another store. A lot of people need reading glasses or bifocals. That wouldn't have worked with 1/14inch labels. If you make it handy for the customer to shop by themselves and are friendly and accommodating. Let's say employee says May I help you? I realize our labels aren't priced clearly but I want you to find the best value and the brand that you want? That would bring a customer back. Not commanding that they move away when they are nowhere near intruding . It's called respect

When I'm Zipn in and out of College Station, I'll often get gas or convenience store stuff here,…read morewhich is actually a Shell. I was feeling like a Shell of my former self, so I came here for gas and then I felt better. This is a cute little Shell right in the middle of the central heart of the impressive and eclectic city of College Station, right by the mega college campus, where the A&M students will stop when they're close to campus and get some high price gas. Often on their parents' credit cards (where's the lie). There's much cheaper gas around town, so I don't recommend filling up here, but it's conveniently located if nothing else.
