Lots of selections but the signage around the place makes me think they are not so friendly. There is a warning about coffee and how it's sold. A sign in the men's room said don't flush the toilet paper? What the hell do you do with it then? That worried me enough to move on. Got our stuff and headed out.

They have boudan, fried okra, fried chicken, sausage wraps, and pizza. these are just a few items, they also cook burgers. I thought the transaction was complete and then she told me the total $23.47. I had already paid before I knew the total. Something didn't seem right about this whole thing. I questioned the amount and she simply stated that that was the price on the list that she was looking at. I don't think she should be looking at a list to punch in prices it should be scanned. I told her that that price was wrong and she walked away down an aisle and stood there. I went back and looked at regular beer prices and they were $11.99. I told her this was outrageous or wrong. Her demeanor changed drastically and she became disconnected with me and said I can show you the breakdown on the paper. At this point, I knew something was not right. I will be contacting the owners somehow and get into the bottom of this. To me this looks like an embezzling scheme.

They have a Starbucks on the premises and my husband got a coffee to go. I used the rest room. The bathroom is usually very clean, but think there was a bad smell in there yesterday. The cleaning crew was in there, so maybe they would have taken care of the smell too if I have been there a while Later. They have lots of the usual stop n go stuff for sale candy, fountain drinks and coffee. But what caught my eye were these cute animal booty/non skid slippers. They were so cute -wolf ones, bear ones and others including college team inspired ones. Wish I had had my camera with me when I saw them.

I stopped by for some bottled water today. The place was clean on the outside. All of the shopping carts were lined up neatly inside of the entry. The workers greeted me when I entered. The store inside seemed clean and looked neat. Seems like a well run Establishment from what I could see. The selection of grocery items is pretty good. This is a small to medium sized market. They carry all the major brands. I found the ozarka bottled water I was looming for, same price I pay at home (near Houston) . My check out experience was good. I did not have to check out my own groceries. I love that.

For a small town liquor store, I was impressed by the layout and merchandising of the store. Inside they do have a decent beer and wine selection, including one 3 foot door of craft beer. Their wine selection is good and I was surprised the prices were less than your average convenience store. They have a beer cave and they sell Willie's hemp infused tonic. They have cigarettes behind the counter and a cigar humidor out front. Definitely a great liquor store considering the small town location. 10 Informative photos included.
